As far as pugging goes- it's not bad if you understand what you're getting into.
Heroic, right now, for example is bound to be less successful. Less people have full-cleared heroic than normal, after all.
Normal, though, isn't bad. A good chunk of the population (those that raid anyways) will have full-cleared it by now. So experience is out there. And the difficult level in general is on par with how normal should be.
That said, you may run into issues with getting accepted. Particularly if your ilvl is just barely about 900. Many groups put a minimum ilvl of 930 on their LFG listings. And those that don't are typically looking for 920+, if not 930+ (just without putting it in as a minimum). Your typical normal ToS raider would've had an ilvl in the ballpark of 920 though, so it's not unrealistic for a group leader to expect at least that.
Well I got my ilvl to about 930 right before my subscription ran out. With that being said, last time I did a premade raid was a nightmare and a bad experience because people are so disorganized and you got raid leaders wanting to give the gear to themselves and their friends. I enjoy making my own premade mythic dungeons a lot more than that. When im subscriping again im problably going to grab that legendary ring, and the next raid in antorus will come out soon afaik. I also have to craft that legendary belt and sell it as well as getting my mining to level 800, the last 10-20 levels are a pain in the ass to get. But for now I am satisfied so it will problably take some time before I subscripe again.
I thought about it and so far im going to..
1) Get my cooking to 800
3) Get the last few mining levels
4) Get some more gold
5) Craft and sell
Rethu's Incessant Courage6) Get a better ilvl
7) Complete the new antorus raids
8) Get
Aman'Thul's Vision9) Upgrade all my legendaries to ilvl 1000
Let me know if there is anything I missed.
P.S What is the best way to farm gold in legion?
So just came back and see that all my legendaries have been upgraded to ilvl 1000.. whats up?

I dont want to replace them, im just wondering why we had to go through the grind with
Awoken Titan Essence to upgrade them if they will be upgraded regardless?
Because this is how the game plays out. Blizzard is married to the concept of time sinks. Late expansion patches are chock full of nerfs, buffs and catch up mechanisms. Grinding away in early game is a complete and utter waste of time unless you wish to claim supremacy over legions of people who couldn't care less about your personal progression, and you personally love nothing more than wasting time. Really, we could all ignore a new expansion for the first year, come in midway, and accomplish everything there is to do and not miss anything at all, and still be kicking our heels in boredom for a few months before the next expansion is released.
