Ha, i don't know what your arena team is rated but the other teams must be pretty stupid to attack a paladin carrying a shield with 5k mana. Any decent team would realize that he is prot and laugh as they kill his teammates.

Dont say prot isnt do-able for arena, we use a prot pally on my 3v3 team as a distraction and they blow all their cd's on a tank and he's still standing there while i come from behind and start wailing away as ret. It just depends on what your using prot for.
Planning your strategy around your enemy playing dumb is not smart.

My tactic on arena for 2v2 :
(Retri)
1.When i am retri and there are 2 DPSes i just try to kill one DPS with my partner then just run, drink some water to have to kill the other guy.
2.When i am retri and there are healer and DPS i just go for the healer, all the time stay on him till he will have like 50% mana less. Then i just go drink water and all the time watch on the healer if he doesnt drink then i again go for him till he have 0% mana, again drink , nuke him and then just go for the DPS.
(Holy)
1.When im holy i just go first, slow the healer so he will have normal run speed then run and let my partner just get him, then heal him with some times...when my partner on 50% i just get of of hide heal him and again hide. When the healer of DPS of the team we fight is on 30% HP i just use Hammer of Justice, Holy Shock and Hammer of Wrath.
(Prot :O)
1. Run after my partner, cast FoL or Holy Light and then just nuke them with tankning spells:P

/agree
After about 10 seconds at MOST, if they don't realize he's prot, they are pretty dumb. I ran into a prot pally rolling a 2h. At first I thought he was ret, but he wasn't dieing, and figured it out in about 5 seconds, and told my rogue to kill the healer. Prot pally's are weak in pvp. Prot warrior or feral druid in tank gear have WAY more use than a pally. You still have no CC or spell disrupts.
Prot NOT recomended for arena.
Cookie cutter 41/20/0 or if you arent' geared and want to go ret, 5/15/41. These are the only 2 specs I use in pvp. You could go shockadin if you wish, but you won't have as much survivability, and it will get progressively less successful as you move up the ranks. Not having light's grace or 100% pushback suppression sucks as a healer.

I wish people let me drink when I'm ret..... Never ever ever in arena do I get a chance to drink. Only if the other team is drinking.
Sometime I wonder what rating/battlegroup you guys are in. I'm at 1500-1600 and NEVER get it as easy as you guys say.

The first one you linked :O why you gave Blessing of Sanctuary and didnt give Sanctity Aura?Btw you should aswell take 2-3 points from protection and give to retri to have Crusader Strike...anyways if i would know how to link (page with talents etc.) i would show you some specs.

Could you explain why the Crusader Strike is so great to have though. :D
It's an extra attack every 6 seconds for 110% damage. So, if you had a 3.0 speed 2-hander (for argument's sake, since I'm not so good at math), in 6 seconds, you'd get two weapon swings. With CS, you'd get the equivalent of 3, one of them for 110% damage. Get the picture?

build is not that good for PvP I'm guessing?
Ugh, you went there with the "rekabution" build. Whoever came up with that failure of an idea gets his paladin card revoked. The reasons why its bad are many, but I'll keep it simple:
Ret paladins are designed to do damage in massive bursts. Notice how much added crit % is possible with the talents in the ret tree? To make best use of this (and Seal of Command) you want the slowest, hardest hitting weapon you can get, somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.6 speed and all the damage you can get. More top-end damage = more Seal of Command and CS damage.
Now, here's the key to successful PvP strategy: Kill them fast. As in, 2-3 Crits worth. This is why all the PvP gear stacks resilience; it makes you less vunerable to crit damage. The stamina enhancers in the Prot tree will only delay the inevitable, because your opponent(s) are doing more damage than you are, because you didn't maximize your damage output by using the ret tree wisely. Make sense so far?
Now, why this build doesn't work: Reckoning will do less damage that CS, Sanctity Aura (2/2 imp), Sanctified Seals, 2H weapon spec, etc...In other words, all the good talents that you have to sacrifice to get the added stam and reckoning.
For PvP, the best specs are Holy if you want to heal, or Ret if you want to lay waste to your enemies. If you go ret, look at the Retlol guide in the stick for a breakdown of which talents you want, and which ones you don't.

With the six seconds you would make the Crusader attack then a normal attack, then you would be able to make the Crusader attack again.
I could possibly see the use.
With that I would like to go
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/paladin/talents.html?tal=0000000000000000000050105130023000000000000523535102200005031301
Possibly see the use? Do you think that Blizzard only put CS at the bottom of the tree because they ran out of room at the top?
Problems with your new build:
-Deflection: Useful for mitigating melee attacks, if your attacker is in front of you. Which they won't be.
-Precision. Maximize this.
-2H weapon spec: 6% more damage for the attacks you use the most (weapon, Command, CS). Do I really need to go into further detail on this?
