Can't afford wow tokens anymore :-(

Has Blizzard mentioned ANYTHING about stopping the rising costs of WoW Tokens? I'm at the point now where I can't play the game for enjoyment anymore. I only have a few hours in the evening to play and I want to spend it raiding, questing, leveling battle pets, etc and instead, I'm spending hours and hours each month farming mats and xmogs just to turn around and hand 3/4 of my earnings back over to the AH so I can buy a token so I can do it all again the next month. Of course, the price will have gone up even more by the time I've earned enough to buy a token for the next month. It's ridiculous! I don't have much of an income and I can't afford the $15 each month, but soon I won't be able to afford the tokens either. I guess my adventures in Azeroth will soon come to an end. Pretty disappointed. :-(

They are most likely keeping on top of what gold selling sites are charging in order to either undercut them or be close enough that risking getting banned for purchasing gold from those sites is not worth it.
Best way to get gold is to get a bunch of alts and just do gold missions with them. I have 12 alts on the alliance server and get a couple gold missions a day that tend to net close to 2k each. It adds up.
I sincerely doubt they are going to put a cap on the tokens.

The token rises with demand as far as I am aware, and yes I think it is getting a little out of hand although still affordable.
I am fortunate enough to not need to buy the token to play, but I do try to optimize my professions to make as much gold as possible, and depending on the characters you have it's very achievable to pay for your token (currently) just through trade cooldowns alone. (Sky Golem, Bags etc)

I understand your concern, but the counterpoint to that is that as a super casual player nowadays, the rise of token value means I can buy with cash what I used to have to sacrifice hours of my game time trying to farm up myself. The market conditions are such that I can work for 30 minutes in the real world and have the cash to get what I want/need in game for an entire week, or more. I get to log on, trade in a token, go buy all the mats I could possibly need for the week, and go out and actually have fun, instead of grinding for essences etc.
It creates an economy in game that allows folks with plenty of time that want to earn gold to trade that time to me for money. Basic capitalism at play, and I love it. I have money, but not time, so I trade my money for someone else's time. Until recently, it was arguably not worth it for me to do so, but lately now that the token prices are increasing, it's totally worth it for me to participate in this economy that I view as a win win. Blizzard makes money, the farmers get to farm and I get to go have fun without FOMO at my own pace.
