I have a 66 holy pally (alliance) and a 70 prot warrior (aliance) and want to make a dps class but can decide on which one to pick.
I have read every class sticky on the forum and they all seem good to me. The reason i am posting this is to hear the opinions of players that rolled the classes already. Im willing to make an Ally toon on my realm or a Horde toon on another realm, so give me your imput on why you like or dislike specific classes (in PvP and PvE situations).
Im interested in Warlock, Rogue, Druid, Shaman. Not that interested in Mages (not that there unimportant), but because i already have a caster as a holy pally and dont want to just be a caster. I want a character that i can go on and level when im sick of my healer or tank.
thanks for helping me out with your comments.

Just curious, not interested in hunters? If you're interested in warlocks, may as well consider hunters, =) They can be rewarding if played well.

sry forgot about hunters. i dont really see them that often in raids dpsing. ive always thought of them as full out CC and someone that saves the healer

If you're tired of healing or tanking, I bet you'd love a pure DPS class. Since you've already had two melee chars, I assume you're quite comfortable with Rogues.
The first character i ever rolled was a rogue and i got him to lvl 60 pre-bc till my account got hacked and lost everything. I started a new account rolled warrior then pally and never looked back. why, in your opinion, is a rogue a good toon for me to roll, and is it easier or harder to play a rogue.
because it sucked pre-bc. imho

im leaning towards lock but i like the fact that hunter can train there own pets and call them without shards
but i like the dot system and drain tanking of the affliction spec of the lock, whilst i have always loved the beast spec of hunters. grrr
see why im stuck. rofl

just a question but why is a dwarf the only true option. what sets them higher on the pole then a Nelf? I was gonna roll a dwarf neways because i hate Nelf starting area but it is probably Stoneform right?

There is also gun specialization
Gun Specialization
increases chance to critically hit with Guns by 1% as of Patch 2.3 (was increase Gun Skill by 5).
And Dwarves just look better as hunters than say, well, night elves.
The only up about Night Elves are shadowmeld and prowl, but those aren't used often enough to make a decision based soley on that.

Holy pala as caster? I don't see pallies as casters - mine's 36 atm, and with the lack of ranged spells... definitely not caster.
what i meant by caster is mana reliant. as holy in raids and dungeons im 100%of the time
casting
heals.
