I personally think there is no such thing as a twink 70. Once you hit 70, you should max out your gear anyway. It's all the other ones (19,29,39,etc) that *!@# me off. They are a bunch of small weiner (in RL) guys trying to feel big and powerful by killing people in BGs. Let's be honest, if they were normally geared, they wouldn't be able to kill anyone since they have no real skill. Otherwise, they wouldn't have to twink out.
And do all players that max out their gear at 70 have small weiners?
Did you even read the first two sentences of my post or are you just retarded?
Making it personal now are you? Does that make you feel like a bigger person?
So you don't think that there is such a thing as a twink 70. That is your personal opinion. My definition of twinking would cover that maxing out your gear at 70 can be defined as twinking. A full S3 warrior 3 shotting another 70 who is only in blues, how is that skill? Sure, they must have some skill to get that gear, but the outcome only ends up with them not needing the skill. Maybe with twinks at lower levels you feel that they are not skilled because you have never been geared enough to provide a challenge to them.
Either way, I'm over this. I have provided my opinion. I like twinking. It provides something else to do with my spare time. I have many. Healers, damage dealers. I even have a level 1 alliance twink outside of the XR's with a few hundred HK's now. I'm never going to claim to be the most skilled player, but I feel satisfied that I am far from the worst. If you don't like twinks, avoid the lower bracket pvp. Simple. Or if you feel you must PVP at those levels, take some control of the group you are with. Even pre-mades can fail due to poor leadership.

The problem with debates on this is that they never go anywhere. The twinkers aren't going to change just because someone doesn't approve, and the people against twinking have never seen a nice twink (which is quite plausible, and would explain why they don't like them), think all twinks are jerks (lollerskates) and think L19/29 twinks cause new players to quit all the time (Perhaps not PvP for a while, but active subscriptions indicate that's not true).
I've seen both sides to the story. I leveled a toon, a Paladin, to 60 about six months before BC. On the way I did some BG's at the 19/29/39 bracket, but never seriously, and I got rolled a few times, and it wasn't cool when I got rolled, but at that time it was just as much due to lack of skill as gear. When BC hit, I then got it to 70. While I was gearing out for raiding, doing heroics, etc I decided along the way to make the lowbie mage I had a 29 twink. So I went and got it to 19, got some gear along the way and honour rewards, and when I had everything including the Insignia of the Alliance at 19, I took it to 29 and twinked it properly there. So, for a while, I had a 29 fire mage twink, with around 1.7k HP and a decent amount of +fire damage. Decent rogues would beat me 60% of the time, increasing to around 80% if they got the jump on me while stealthed, but they were beatable. Hunters I could beat as long as they weren't 40-yards away when they started attacking, as I could exploit deadzone to some extent. It definately wasn't a guaranteed win, but I had a shot. I'd hate to fight them now there's no deadzone, can you say OP? But I digress.
Eventually I decided I wanted another 70, and I really enjoyed my mage, so I decided to level it. Interestingly enough, since it's hit 70, it's done maybe 6 BG's. I really don't have the time or patience to fully gear out toons for PvP, I'm more of a raider, and despite the fact I live in Australia, work full time but play on a low-pop US server with no late night guilds, I've seen all of Kara, ZA, Gruul's, Mag, SSC and TK. I've also been in for a few BT bosses.
I have no desire to completely regear either my Paladin or Mage for PvP. I will farm honour/arena gear on my Pally occassionally, but that's mainly so I can get some upgrades I'd use in PvE. However, a twink gives me the unique oppurtunity of gearing out a toon for PvP without spending 100-200g a week on respecs, without raising another toon to 70, without farming 100k honour, without farming 10k arena points, without cutting heavily into what little raiding time I get because of conflicting schedules.
So, a few friends started a L19 twink guild recently, and I decided to play a hunter. Not because they're OP or FOTM or any of that, but because I had literally never played one past L6. So I chose something different. And I'll follow the same rules as when I twinked my mage...
I rarely engage a non-twink, but will defend myself if attacked by one. The only exceptions are (1) They are the Flag Carrier (2) They're healing the FC (3) They're healing a twink (4) not attacking them will directly cause me to lose the game.
So, after that wall of text, the few of you that are still reading need to ask yourselves this: Am I (the writer) a jerk? Can you honestly say that I'm just an asshat looking to beat up lesser geared players? If you can't, then don't make retarded comments like "all twinks are jerks", "all twinks are bad", "all twinks can't play at 70". Besides, all they really do is make you look bad.

I play a MS warrior and a resto druid at lvl 70
ms warrior at 1800rating and resto druid at 1600 rating, i just enjoy the fact that it takes 10 ppl nuking me to take me down.
It isn't difficult and takes one day.. it's just a time consumer, like one of you said,
if you want to TWINK it takes far more than one day(imagine how many chest runs+fishing contests you need for 3 items)
but...
i do hate some twinks tho.
those with a lvl 50 main and 2x +2weapon damage thinking they are twinks and keep asking for the flag and thinking they are cool because they won't die against a warrior/rogue/palla/enh shammy because they pop evasion
don't feel like continueing this post atm
