Wow, you should really consider doing some formatting on that post.. my eyes are bleeding after reading the wall of text that is your post. I do agree wholeheartedly with your opinion on the arcane tree, it's just ridiculous to have so many filler talents in a single tree.

I just ignore people that ask for portal, water etc so they dont really bother me anymore. What bugs me is the malfunction of Blink when you hit a little pixel or snag or whatever and you just stop after 1 yard. That always @#$%es me off.

hmm, my pet peeves.
1.) being expected to supply your food and water (i do it because it helps the party, but dammit im not going to supply your daily rations you cheap bastard.)
2.) you can just Kite this mob around, right, yer frost you'll live. (this being said to me, in the Kael fight in Heroic MGT, they wanted me to kite the phoenix around, so they could kill kael, they wanted to ignore the bird....) use some common sense.
3.) yelling for AB, when i rebuff a fallen comrade with AI.... heres a hint... yeh its the same +int, just one doesnt use a reagent.
4.) 20 minute arguements about how stingy I am with my mana gems....(yeh...... seriously.)
5.) Being told to re-sheep.... seriously, sometimes I miss it, but I do have addons running telling me the time, only time I miss it is when im hip deep in mobs.
6.) in a Heroic Bot run, we get to the demons, have a lock, and one !@#$y little kitty dps druid goes "yay, finally we have some CC!", I say, "And what, we didnt have my sheep for the entirety of the instance?" he says "well you never used it, I say "tank never marked anything for it"

Im a weirdo I make a table in BG's... however soon as some dummy yells out demanding it, I conjure my own supply of food and water and be done with it.
Too many times I have been on 5 man instance teams where they go "hey you want me to queue up so I can get us some food"
hate em.

What irritates me most about playing my Mage (My first and only lvl 70 character.) was the constant drinking. On the road from lvl 1 to 70, I'm pretty sure I spent more time drinking than I did killing.
I've made various alts, the highest of which an Enhancement Shaman now entering Outland, and the difference in downtime is incredible.
The whole "At least you Magi can make your own food and water!" argument sort of loses its meaning when you see the majority of the other classes not needing food and water at all...
It's funny. "Magi don't have to waste tons of gold on water and food". I make an average of 4 Tables per raid. Add to that the Arcane Brilliances and you've got yourself 2 stacks of Arcane Powder per raid.
Yes, we don't have to waste tons and gold on water and food. We waste tons of gold on YOUR water and food.
The only place where most other classes actually need food and water is in instances, where the local Mage will supply you with all the biscuits you can carry.
Yes, we're the only class that never has to buy food and water. We're also the only class that spends money on food and water.
I don't know how you levelled your Enhancement Shaman, but early on, my enh shaman alt had to drink constantly. His mana pool was pitiful, and he had no way to regen it. It was only until I got Shamanistic Rage and Water Shield that it became much better.
Of course, I could refrain from using spells at all, but I still had to heal, and killing stuff without using spells was painfully slow.
