I was wondering... does WoWhead generate enough money to fully live with it, or Miyari and other blues have another job? (if yes, what is it?)

Well, a bit of time ago they had a posting for a full time job up in the great lakes region working for ZAM on the Wowhead site. I imagine there is at least one person if not more who works for ZAM full time.

I'm sorry, Wowhead. I shouldn't've opened that can again.
http://www.wowhead.com/?aboutus
The website's following continued to grow, and in June of 2007, Wowhead made the decision to join the
ZAM Network
, along with other well-known MMO sites Thottbot, Allakhazam, MMOInterface, and Online Gaming Radio.

There's a difference between IGE the RMT company and IGE the holding company. You would be wise to look it up.

Since this is kind of my fault, I dug up some of the old posts regarding IGE and ZAM. Here you go:
Any connection between Thotbott & Wowhead?
WoWHead Still Owned by IGE?
The staff responded a few times in each of those.

Buttttt thottbot is bad, and has some sketchy practices from what I hear. Soo0o? It makes me ask many more questions... Maybe I should just not?
I'm not sure what sketchy practices you're referring to, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
devastated to have not known this.
I should read the fine print better and more often.
definitely not a fan of the zam network and come to find out I'm contributing to it.
As I said, I'd be happy to answer any questions about this. But I work for the ZAM Network, and I have personally met everyone who is in a position of authority here, all the way up to the CEO of the company. There is no one here I don't trust. There was a period when ZAM was owned by a company who also owned an RMT business, like Ford and Jaguar as you describe. Even during that time, ZAM was exclusively a content business--all the staff from the original sites was kept on board, and the sites continued to run their business as they chose.
That arrangement ended when the RMT business was sold, before Wowhead joined ZAM. It's worth noting also that BOTH of the people who gave that interview are no longer with the company. At the time, I asked John if he would allow me to give the interview, but he said he'd rather handle it himself. The man has a stutter-y way of speaking that, when translated to text, makes it sound like he's lying even when he's not. >.<
In any case, the
ZAM Network
is Wowhead, Thottbot, Allakhazam, MMOInterface, and Online Gaming Radio. No more no less. If you have a problem with one of those sites (other than "Their site sucks", since the original team is still working on all of them), then let me know and I'll do my best to address it.

Also, on another note--If you still don't believe us, there is one little piece of validation I can mention.
I had wanted to wait until there was an official announcement of some kind up on
the official site
, but Wowhead has joined the ranks of
Official Fansites
. Hopefully that's proof enough. :)

As Malgayne stated (for the thousandth time), Wowhead and ZAM are in no way associated with RMT in any way (and Wowhead never has been). Nowadays, these sort of rumors are typically perpetrated by competing database sites, thinking that they can scare people into using their own, typically far less accurate and useful, database with this mob mentality that "Using Wowhead is supporting gold sellers!" I don't know about you guys, but even before I ever worked here I have
never
seen a gold ad on the site. If you want to be blind and continue to believe rumors when we present you facts - then by all means,
don't use the site
. I wish you the best of luck in finding an alternative to our perfectionism and dedication to this game, to this site, and to following Blizzard's rules.

Nice, I got green, blue and purple text in my topic, yet none answered my question >_<

We didn't answer your question because it's technically confidential. But Skosiris, Mystadio, Miyari and myself all work on Wowhead full time.
