A New Coin?

There is Copper, there is Silver, there is Gold, but in BC quests reached 12g each and people gain the golden coins pretty swiftly, and in WotLK the gold of level 80 quests might reach about 4 times more money, so to reduce the
'WTS for 20000g', Blizzard might make a new kind of coin.
100 copper coins are 1 silver coins
100 silver coins are 1 gold coins
100 gold coins are 1 cobalt coins?
so
'WTS for 200cb'
For thoes who ask why cobalt
new metal ore found in Northrend is Cobalt.
Side note: I know this doesn't have anything to do with the DK forums, but I personally see the DK forum also as the WotLK forum.

gnomes dont deserve a healing class- when they can see over another player they can heal it
WTF!?!?!?
Now to the OP: I agree, a new coin would be nice, but instead of 100g making a cobolt, maybe 1000

gnomes used to have healers, but they couldnt reach the wounds on their allies =P
Anyways, I dont think a new form of currency is needed, and if blizz decides to put one in it definitely wont be cobalt... more likely platinum or something. Cobalt is just a new resource for blacksmithing/engineering/etc.

If blizz makes a new currency so many people will quit wow it wont be funny the golds been their since the max lvl was 25 it stays gold!
I highly doubt that
ANYONE
would quit wow if they added a new coin
At this point we dont really need it, but in wotlk we might. Gold is ALOT easier to get in bc then it was pre-bc and I bet it will be even easier in woltk. So we might need a new coin.

Why does everyone assume platinum would be after gold? If Blizzard stays with their pattern, which they seem to often to, the logical progession would be Copper -> Silver -> Gold -> Truesilver -> Eternium/Khorium.

There will be a need for a new coin just like there is a need for something other than copper.
If there was no gold or silver the numbers would reach to 5000000000c and even if you put the letter 'k' at the end it still comes out 50000k c and thats still a big number
So just as there is a need for gold and silver, there might be a need for a new coin in WotLK

it was when wow first came out blizz didnt want people to become addicts i think they did it for a week then put it up to 60 i've seen pictures with the lvl bar locked at 25. Also changing a new coin isn't needed it'll just go up from items being 1k in ah to being 10k. I got my resources on the lvl 25 from wow forumns if u want proof these lvl 70's had a big discussion over it.
It never was. Sometime during the closed US Beta it was around 40, i think. But the game was released with the level cap of 60. If the cap had been 25 it would not have made much sense to develop and implement talent trees that require 30 talent points to reach the end. Let alone all the level 30+ zones. xD
But I'd really like to see your sources. ;-)

Today you can AH an item only until 999g.And with the WoTLK many new(so more expensive)items will come 2 the market and many times 999 g simple won't be enough price(actually the biggest price is 999g 99s and 99 copper but...lol)
999g is the ceiling on AH prices? A friend of mine just sold an epic BoE ring that dropped for him for about 1200g, so I'm pretty sure that's not correct. 9999g may be the ceiling, but I haven't seen anything that high on my server's AH.
