Touchy subject, I'd say, but you'd naturally get the scream of "ELEMENTAL SHAMAN, OFCOURSE!", when you post here. I'm voting for it aswell, naturally :P
Anyway, they share lots of nice feats, as group buffs, resurrections (combat res. vs. reincarnation), heals, survivability.. I could keep on going.
I'd probably keep to my druid though, if I were you. You won't get much out of rerolling, in terms of playstyle.

Note also that Moonkin are getting major buffs in WotLK. Obviously the Elemental tree will also have new talents, but the new Moonkin talents are amazing.

druids are also the only true hybrid class. at any point in the game, if you dont like being caster dps, you can decide to be melee dps, tank, or healer. a shaman is only dps or heals.
Druids are "shifters", not hybrid. Shaman and Paladin are hybrids.
Druids cannot access all their spells in forms.
Shaman and Paladin have access to all their spells all the time.
A tanking druid would have to go into casterform to cast a heal, thus getting squashed by the mobs he is tanking. But a paladin tank can cast a heal but still maintain damage absorption capabilites.
An enh shaman can do good spell dmg, and melee dmg, with reasonable healing.
A feral druid does crap spelldmg, and reasonable healing, good melee dps and tanking.
Moonkin do good spelldmg, but crap melee dmg, with okay healing. A resto druid does good healing, okay spelldmg but crap melee dps.
To OP:
I played a druid for almost 3 years now, and I tried all specs, and druid is fun, but shaman is a different playstyle, totem management, timings on spells and so forth, whereas Moonkin is quite straight forward compared to shaman. But if you are looking for a specialist caster or melee I would roll something else.
If you like the support role in groups, roll the Shammy, and you wont be dissapointed.
The totem of wrath is better for groups with not so good gear, but with maxed spellhit, moonkin aura is better.
If you play on a pvp server stick with the druid, stealth + unrootable = win

i think his point was that druids are the only class that can play ranged caster, melee dps tank and healer. 4 roles, one more than the other hybrids
