Ideas for Future Expansions

So after the WoTLK expansion comes out and everyone's level 80 and pretty much all the instances have been released, what's the next expansion going to be about?
In my opinion, it's going to be about either the Emerald Dream or the Maelstrom.
I had this great idea for the Maelstrom expansion (if it ever comes out). What if Blizzard made
diving mounts
?!? Like, you can swim down into the water until you're too deep and you get the Fatigue bar. Then, once you hit level 120, you can buy an eel or a walrus or something, engineers can make submarines, and druids get an epic, slightly less scary looking, Seal Form.
This popped into my head one day. Don't ask.
But you can throw in your own opinions. :D

I think that's a pretty good idea, but how would an eel or walrus let you breathe underwater? A submarine or a seal would work, but the others wouldn't work. I think it would be very cool though, because there is so much unused space down in the ocean. There could be sea serpents in the ocean, and you could fire cannonballs at them from ships.

Interest
The Maelstrom and Emerald Dream are awesome ideas for an expansion, but what if Blizzard just simply added new worlds (such as ones mentioned in Warcraft lore)? Perhaps even the area where the "Titans" reside.

what i'm more interested in is if blizzard will either continue to release new expansions for years (decades? >.>), or will they eventually make an mmorpg that is sort of a sequel to WoW, to update graphics, and make major changes to the game too large for a mere expansion. i think that would keep things fresh but i wouldn't want to give up my classic wow account :(

Then, once you hit level 120

No. Dear God no....
Hahaha. That's why I added that there. :B
I wonder if WoW will become the next Everquest (without the whole sucking part). You know, Everquest had a billion expansions before they came out with Everquest 2, which was still a disappointment.

I got very into a thread about boats on World of Warcraft that your guild buys and shares. An engineer in your guild would pilot it, and there would be vendors on it along with a guild bank.
The vendors would be mostly for the PvP part of this.
For the PvP part, every guild would fight every guild (enemy and allied factions). The vendors would sell things like cannonballs and gunpowder to attack enemy ships. If your ship got sunk, everyone in the guild (that was on the boat and online) that sunk your ship would get 3 honor for each guild member you had online (and on the boat) at the time when you got sunk. If your boat had been sunk, you could get it again every Tuesday, just like raids. If you are the last boat standing, you win 10,000 (or some other number) bonus honor for every member of your guild!
The bigger your guild is, the bigger ship you can have, the more powerful it would be, the more gold you would have to invest in the ship to make it bigger and stuff. Tailors in guilds would have to make new sails, engineers would make gunpowder and other things. Blacksmiths would have to make cannonballs (or possibly engineers could do that) and cannons. Alchemists would have to make certain concions to patch up the ship, and possibly to cure the scury and other sea related illnesses. Jewcrafters could make insignias for the boats (I'm kind of sunk on what to do for JCers, any ideas? Get it? Sunk?).
But I think this would promote more guild interaction, and put an awesome spin on the game. I'm positive that there would always be lots of people fighting in this (unless they were already sunk). And another idea, the topped rank guild boats from every server could go head to head at the end of each month to fight, and the last boat standing again gets a big bonus honor.
Maybe, there could even be Marks of Honor for this, in which case, there would be new gear and other things, but I might be getting a little carried away.

I think they should do the maelstrom and the emerald dream...then WC4 to add more lore...then WoW 2....with fresh bosses and zones and stuff

possible make The Maelstrom a 40 man?
have a teleport thingy in Northrend like they did for Naxx, and have Queen Azshara as the ? boss. As for the Fatigue/Underwater breathing, have a zonewide buff, or hell, make the raid encounter open e.g. in a cave.
imagine, being teleported to 100 feet above this chaotic scene, rain, storm and lightning defening. Then falling for what seems forever untill you hit the water. suddenly tranquil, your raid has made it's way further down into the water. The goblin you met in Northrend waves to you, urging you forward. You see naga all around the further you swim, they take no notice of you.
You have entered the Maelstrom...

If they do use the Maelstrom for an expansion, the neutral city would most likely be the Undermine. We'd finally get to go to the homeland of only truly neutral Azerothean race - the Goblins. The real problem is that underwater bit, but as the Undermine is underground, it can very well be anywhere, and most likely is actually everywhere, right beneath our feet. In terms of zones, it would likely require a region wide buff, like the PvP bonuses, only it would apply to everyone, and thus couldn't be removed from any group.
The problem with using the Emerald Dream is lack of cities - as the Emerald Dream is Azeroth as it would have been minus interference from sentient biengs, there cannot be any cities.
