Arcane Missles is a channeled spell, so once it starts it isn't affected by LOS (or this is how I understood it long ago).
As for Spell Reflection, any attack aimed at you becomes
your
attack when it is reflected & is thusly subject to any/all qualms from hence forth.

Well, actually not always. Ice lance for example will have the frozen bonus if
the warrior who reflects it
is frozen. But that's a special exception. Just found it worthwhile to add now that the OP met a mage.

I do recall some discussion on that. Thanks for the notice!

That sucks.
Well it's not a magical spell if it can't past through walls is it???
Once the spell is unleash it can past through walls (and the ground) and chase you forever (flare anyone?). I had a fireball chase me on my epic mount forever and it wont stop until it hits you. I think if you move out of range their cast will stop channeling.
I hate it when an opposing player block (or stand by) a quest giver and you accidently click on them and suddenly you get raped by the guards for doing so.
If the opposing faction have a group that outnumbers yours at the isle, mount up and move away (or be prepare to defend) because they are going to gank you (PVP servers).

Yeah, I tried the same thing. Epic flyer FTW :P
You have to move out of range by a considerable margin before a channeling cast (or other cast which has been initiated) stops casting. You can start casting at max range on a mob moving away from you and often still get the spell off, depending on how fast it moves.
