you will probabily still get to be able to do them, the main reason the lvl 60 raids dont get run anymore is because all the stuff u get from OL is practically better which made everything obsolite this making the mayority of players angry and fustrated with all there hard work on getting the lvl 60 pvp and dungion armor sets getting replaced almost instantly when they went to OL. I believe that Blizzard has promissed that with WotLK and the introduction of Northrend they ar'nt going to make such a hugh jump in equipment changes meaning that all the time spent getting full T6/S4 wont be a waste.
Plus, most of my guild believe that the old lvl 60 raids will start to get rerun with the introduction of Death Knights and them starting in EPL

The DK starting area, though befitting, is only a level 55-60 area.
You're obviously entitled to stick around till 67-68Was obviously a typo, he meant 57-58.
I think it's going to be a new type of badges as Dobbel said, Blizzard has a great history at inventing new currencies for new content. I don't think they want players to be able to hoard badges and buy 2-3 items right when WotLK comes out.

From all the information I have read/seen around on the internet; that IS the intention and the purpose the badge system was introduced in the first place. If you look at badge loot now, most T4/T5 equivalent badge loot is 35-75 badges, whereas higher end badge loot is well into the 100s, even 150 in some cases. Im not sure if they are going to award badges for WOTLK loot but there has been no mention of scrapping the badge system so I would imagine so.
Obviously that would be something players would want to know, and that they wouldn't just spring on us at release. Something like that would have been mentioned in the press release. Most of the higher end badge gear and T6 level gear will be good through at least level 76-78. Even at level 80 you still wont be able to solo level 70 heroics, you will still have to form a group and put some effort into it so its not like everybody will just be solo farming old content for badges. However, I have no doubt that lesser geared 80s will have any qualms going back and running old heroic content for badges for new gear even though it might take a little longer. People who may not be geared enough for 70 heroics now should not have any trouble running them at 73-74, which should allow them to start accumulating badges with the rest of us. Personally I hope they keep this system as it is the only to keep less active players active in new content without feeling too overwhelmed or behind.
I don't know if you were playing when BC arrived. Everyone focused on one thing. Leveling to 70. While its possible that someone in their mid 70s would go grind in the level 70 heroics to get badges, I suspect that finding 4 other people will be near impossible. Further the comment that Blizzard tends to introduce new currencies for new content is very accurate. My guess is that the existing heroics will stay just as they are when WotLK arrives and will give you access to the existing gear and no more.
