Great information.
Dang, Worgen is my favorite race and I guess they don't get a model update yet.
So...even though they say garrisons are optional they actually are not. As in " Want to get around faster? Get a mage tower and stables.". Never mind the profession perks or the lore quests associated with it.And with limited play time I also have to manage a garrison? Which I wasn't interested in, in the first place?I can see that I am going to really dislike this expansion. From my understanding, it is another alt unfriendly one. I will play it with long teeth, as I did Cataclysm....Not flying I am OK with for a patch or two. Where it's going to annoy the heck out of me, is when I level my alts. From what feedback the Devs have been giving - I doubt very much that it will be implemented. I am a programmer myself, and they have not coded the environment for flying....so it would be a big cost in terms of design, time and money to code for flying....Quoted from above:"-In the past we HAVE designed specific AREAS of zones for flying but not critical quest paths. But yes, this has evolved as well because we do go to great lengths to increase exploration and detail. If we were designing spires with flying, there would probably no tree tops."
I hope they finish Blood Elf models as soon as possible. As for flying, I don't mind at all. If it brings old school feels back, I would be a happy camper.
Overwatch!
Interesting
<3 Jeremy Feasel. He's definitly my favorite dev, since he handles all the stuff I love.
I cant wait to explore all the areas of Draenor in their prime. Seeing things like Nagrand and Black Temple in all their glory will be wonderful.
I like the idea of holding back on flying for a while, even for a couple of patches. It could be a chance the have the players explore the world and then have a patch with more exploration content using everything the learned at the beginning of the expansion. It wouldn't bother me at all if we don't get to fly until 6.2.
So ready for WoD!
Terrific interviews. The one with Alex Afrasiabi was particularly interesting about the design process and needing to redesign whole zones.Hopefully at the next BlizzCon they get Olivia and Perc on the main stage to interview the Devs. The panel discussions were good this year but the Wowhead interviews are better. These type of discussions are much better than tweets, blue posts, patch notes, etc. Explaining the reasons behind certain decisions is important. I hope these interviews will continue in the future.
awesome ! :D :D
