MS Raid warrior worth taking?

Figured I'd ask the warrior forums here for the final say. I know I've seen a few guilds do it, and I can totally see how it'd work out for us. Currently my guild is halfway through BT and cleared Hyjal, and we run with 2 fury warriors, one who is raid leader and can't always keep his rotations perfect because of such. The have roughly 11-12 people in any given fight doing physical dmg(including tanks) and only about 6 or so casters. Now, I don't care about fights where this will be a burden, I just mean as a general rule, would it be worth it to have our RL go MS/Flurry for Blood Frenzy?
As I understand it, it's a bit easier to multi-task as MS because you don't have to babysit Rampage and such, but I don't play one so I don't know. The 4% dmg gain would apply to a hell of a lot of our dps, but would he lose enough dps to not make this worthwhile? (Not to mention I only know of 2 fights the MS debuff is terribly useful for right now. Antheron and Naj)

I think Quab hit on this, but it needs to be
emphasized
. The raid leader isn't able to do rotations as Fury (e.g. multitask), then he certainly will not hold a candle in terms of DPS using Slam rotations.
I do agree one of the warriors should be rolling with Blood Frenzy, though -- just too much physical damage without it!

Wise words and a breath of fresh air from Whereisenoch. I am looking for guild-mates with similar attitudes to his. I for one an put off by the absolutist attitudes I find playing this game. People read the formulas for success and treat them as the word of law. That's too bad. Where is the creativity made possible by the myriad choices this game provides? Why is it cookie-cutter or fail?

To continue with the Racing analogies, why would you drive a rear wheel drive car over a four wheel drive car when the four wheel drive is proven to out perform the rear wheel design. Because of convention, and an embedded system that brings comfort to the uncreative. This scenario actually took place in the '80's when Audi first introduced the Quatro. After Audi cleaned up, a rules committee banned four wheel drive cars to avoid all of the other race teams from having to develop a four wheel system.
The other qualm I have with the comparison of a Ferrari to a Fiat. Is a DPS Warrior really a Fiat compared to any other DSP classes' Ferrari? That's not the case at all. DPS warriors are far closer than that in comparison, it's more like a Ferrari againts a 'Vette, which is a much closer comparison in my opinion.
I believe the current cookie cutter mentality has developed to satisfy the players need to be sure of them selves. When picking a group to run with knowing, up front, the roles everyone will play is comforting, and gives people the feeling of understanding. All they have to do is one task. DSP classes proliferate because few people want the responsibility of taking most, if not all of the damage, in an encounter to ensure the "Squishy" classes can survive, and all of the associated ranting being a Tank entails.
I am not flaming you. Yours is the prevailing attitude, and that must be contended with. If a player wants a spot on a Raid Roster they have to justify themselves to the other members, this is done "simply" by conforming. One of my least favorite words. I have been involved with unconventional groups that were very successful and I am proud of that. This game should be about taking the risks you can't take in RL. Dying doesn't hurt (with the exception of the repair bills), and isn't permanent. I still believe "there's more than one way to skin a dragon".

I strongly advise using a properly geared & spec Blood Frenzy warrior in your case. However, this Raid Leader you speak of is going to have a hard time, read below.
As I understand it, it's a bit easier to multi-task as MS because you don't have to babysit Rampage and such. . .
If one has trouble "babysitting" Rampage, it's going to be a world of pain watching a swing timer.
Let's stay on topic guys. Not one person said anything about warriors being DPS & whether or not they should be allowed.

You have me there Tomasvalheru. I mis-understood your post. A poor spec. will definitely gimp any class, but how do you know if it is poor without trying it. Have you reviewed my spec? I have a ton of fun with this build. I may not impress the Theory guys with it, but I can sure clean house.
My analogy stands though. There is no way to label any build a Fiat if it gets the job done. Some may be 'Vettes because they prefer American cars to Italian ones. Italian cars are notorious for maintenance issues, the 'Vette is a bit more reliable day to day, and it's a gas to drive. Cookie-cutter builds are tested and trusted but they can't be the end all to the game. That is my stand.
My romantic vision of the Plated Beast happens to include a 2-handed sword, for me there is no better picture than the warrior charging in swinging the big tool, where others fear to tread.
