Combat swords - improved eviscerate?

Hi, I was just wondering that since the talent aggression increases your eviscerate damage, would it be wise to put points into improved eviscerate?
I've seen a combat swords rogue with it, but I always assumed eviscerate was for daggers.

You won't use eviscerate enough to make it useful, your principal finishers will be Slice and Dice and Rupture ( PvE ).

PvP = Some Rogues take it because...well they gotta put them somewhere and for PvP its better than Murder.

On the contrary to what Remx thinks, eviscerate is still being used a lot in pvp. And it is better than murded for pvp.

I have never actually done the math on it, maybe Rem has. I've been drinking so please call out errors or general idiocy =).
With a base attack power of 1500, a 5 combo point Eviscerate's Damage range is 1210 - 1390. With the added 15% its 1331 - 1529.
Now, if my opponent has 10K health, and I am specc'ed into Murder, does that mean I would kill him ~200HP faster? (

If so, I would think that the Eviscerate Talents would be a more solid bet. Of course I'm sure I messed up somewhere. Help me out!.
EDIT: remembered that its 2/3 in Imp Eviscerate, not 3/3. I would change my mind based on that one talent point, since Eviscerate is used rare enough that the extra bonus when used, isn't worth the points. Damn...now I gotta respec...

Nope. You've got at least three other finishers you'll be using regularly, and 10% increased damage to the lesser of four or five finishers is inferior to 2% increased damage to all outgoing damage.
Kicklucky: You'll only get 2 points into improved eviscerate by taking them out of murder, so it's a 10% increase.
So your eviscerate will go from 1210 - 1390, to 1331 -1529, for an increase in damage range of 121-139. 121 to 139 extra damage on a finisher you're rotating with four or five others will equate to a smaller damage increase than a 2% increase to all damage being dealt. Keep in mind that healers prolong fights, so sustainable damage does come into play.

Imp evis is a waste of points, no matter what spec, whether it's PvE or PvP. Or at least, there are many better ways to spend those 5 points. Its 3 points actually
