i went there at 58 with both my druid and my rogue, no problem really. just take your time and start using your brain when you fight, outland requires more thinking than azeroth imo =P

I found it a bit difficult when I hit outlands as a Rogue at level 58..
( I didn't buy anything in AH so Im using quest rewards and professions basically no help from other characters to get geared up)
As a hunter it was a piece of cake...
I'm almost sure a warlock would be the same too since they have pets as well..
I did a lot of Ramparts and Blood Furnace runs to remain about 1-2 levels higher then quests minimum so that it gets easier for me to kill.

If undergeared any (no recent dungeon gear or good rewards, or items from the Auction House), it can be difficult at 58. The quests also seem to run out after a while (if you're doing them according to their colour).
Personally, last time I leveled a 70 I went there at 58, did as much as I could, then went back to Silithus & finished up all the solo quests there. Between the two zones (Hellfire Peninsula & Silithus), I leveled 3 times in one day (58, 59, & 60). This was before the XP nerf, too!

I took my lock at 58 with no problems. I was affliction so I drain tanked everything. I actually hit 60 within a matter of hours of being out there just off the quest that you get upon entering. It felt like a lifetime to get 61, but nowhere near as bad as my warrior when I took him. Drop into the warlock forums and see what advice you can get as far as using the "failguard". Used him 1 time and went back to afflic personally, but everyone has their own playstyle.
0/21/40 now for raiding, but thats another story. Hope this helped.

It wasnt difficult at 58...Just you gotta be careful. Really. The exp you get from outlands is rediculous compared to azeroth, there is no reason NOT to go. Would you rather go from 58-60 in 4 hours in outlands or 8+ in azeroth?
