Falionna raised one her eyebrows up and then down to Ezra.
"How is it going?" The dark ranger asked, glancing back to the orc.

Character
: Greg Mandrake
Location
: Stormwind City, Old Town, Crime Scene
Gregory halted his bike and slid off the vehicle, already tensing in anticipation. Unlike Eva, he was no telepath - the only way he could reliably read someone's mind was via violently assaulting the said mind, which was rarely if ever appropriate. What he could pick up were emotions, and now Mandrake headed to the scene to examine just that.
He was grasping at straws and he knew it, but it was still a possible lead. When the one to pull a trigger to slash a knife is not just a hired thug, there is a distinct possibility of them feeling an intense malice upon severing the life of another. Tasting traces of that particular emotion would likely mean the mastermind behind the killing was the only one involved.
Character
: Kevin Ashwood
Location
: Stormwind City, SWPD Station (Old Town Division)
Officer Ashwood booted his desktop - a rather old model with the keyboard being the primary input. Kevin recognized the fact that voice commands were useful in heated situations, but in the current paradigm algorithms processing text were better developed than those processing voice, and the veteran cop was not inclined to meticulously construct phrases.

"Well. The only reason we're being denied is because of its programming..." Lucien commented. "If it's an AI, we could unshackle it..."

Slowly, Sasha dug her fingers into the wound, pulling them back shortly after. The bullets was gripped between them, which she dropped to the floor; splattering the blood that covered it.
It was then her hand began to glow. The red glow of life, magic flames caressing the wound.

"Undeads do not feel pain." Falionna infromed the orc. It was common knowlage, but there are always exeptions.
"I shall try not to." She then added on the remark on geting staped on bottels.
"What is that?" She asked and pointed a ashen grey finger to the items picked out from the package.

Chrome. Of course it had to be that bloody guy.
And now a friend was dead.
We had never really been all that close, but he wasn't a bad guy. And Chrome had killed him. Sure, there was a proxy involved, but he was as guilty as if he had pulled the trigger himself.
And if he wanted this info, it was time to find out what exactly it was.

"Didn't we have a 'AIs for nimrods' book around here somewhere?" Lucien wondered, meandering off as he glanced around the apartment they currently occupied.

"Oh?" Sasha asked, pulling back. Carefully, she pulled a towel out of her hoodie's pocket, wiping her hand off with it. "You think so?"
Samantha Ahren, William Triberk, C.O.L.A.

"That's not much to go on, though." Samantha commented. "Some of the victims won't be missed, others had families that will miss them quite a bit."

Lucien made his way out of the room, suit folded up under his arm as he met Hannah in the hallway. "Let's head downstairs." He suggested. "I could use a bite."
In his hand, he twirled the knife that had spilled out of the case earlier.

Curious, Sasha followed; making her way into the elevator behind Ten.

Lucien followed after, moving down a floor. The two made their way through the hallway, past boarded doors and open doorways; looking out into barren rooms with darkened windows.
Finally, they reached one with a doorknob, Lucien throwing it open into another apartment. Reaching in, he flicked the light switch, flooding the room in light.
A large table was set in the middle of the living space, the middle used to hold appliance, loafs of bread, and other kitchen supplies. The boy stabbed the knife into the worn wood; making his way to the fridge.
"So any idea who we're looking for?" He asked, pulling some sandwich meat out.

"Is there any markings or runes on the disc?" Falionna asked glancing over the golden item as she flexed her back to test the efficiency of the healing. Needless to say the dark ranger was pleased. But found no need to say it.
"Might give a clue onto it's origin."

I stepped out of the Dream inside of the EleCo building's vault.
This, of course, was noticed by the security AI. Obviously, it wasn't terribly pleased.
Even as it went to went to sound the alert, I slammed my right arm, my metal, enchanted one, into the wall. It flared blue and
sunk
into it.
adjustParameters();
for (int people = 0; people < building.size(); people++) {
employee.adjustSecurity(safe, intruder);
}
employee.push_back(Andrew);
I growled into the AI.
It manifested before me: a platinum cube, which hung in the air. It began to shiver violently, while the silver sheen began to bleed red.
A moment later, a blast of sound echoed throughout the chamber and the building around me.
>>WARNING<<

INTRUDERS(S) IN BUILDING
It turned to me.
<Andrew>, please barricade yourself in your office in room <NULL> and await further instructions.
Without further ado, it turned and sped from the Vault.

Character:
Hack, Valence
Location:
Dun Morogh, Kharanos District
Heldra had put the children to bed a half hour ago and closed the door on their sleeping figures. She was a robust woman, with bright red arms and face as though constantly flushed from the work of raising her children and almost as often a husband as well. She wore a thick plaid dress and let her hair fall loose for the evening. She took her seat before the door as she always did when evening came, there to wait for her husband and his late working hours. He rose in the morning and was not home till very late, but though it troubled her some, she tolerated it as she did most things she could not change. She was an austere and rather cool woman, her face composed in that way that those who lack money, or position, covet their pride all the more. In the other room the radio murmured, a voice to keep her company in the long hours, for even when Offar came home he was almost always straight to bed.
He was late, and that worried her.
It was true Offar would sometimes come home late, the faint aroma of alcohol upon his breath, and she would never say a word, merely disprove in silence which was often far worse than a mere row to her husband. But this did not make her less anxious. She was well aware of the danger which lurked in their district. She had grown up there, just as Offar had, but she never declaimed her worry. They did not live in a dangerous neighborhood, but her husband had sensed her fear, and in his quiet way of loving her, had equipped the door not only with a conventional touchpad lock alone, but with an old fashioned key and lock as well. Thus she was comforted, and showed it to him in her own silent way, by waiting up for him before the door so she could greet him when he came home.
The radio murmured on. The low buzz of a digital clock could be heard underneath it. Heldra silently pinched her apron between two fingers and stared at the numbers of the pad and the keyhole underneath.
Then, she heard it. A light step coming down the hall. She frowned, wondering if it was one of the neighbours. Someone was speaking on the radio about an emergency that had happened down town. The footsteps drew close, and stopped. A shadow could be seen in the gap beneath the door along with the faintest trace of green light.
Heldra rose as the key jingled in the lock. Offar never put the key in first. She moved behind the chair as the touchpad buzzed, its blue light sparking with little motes of magic as it strained against something. The buttons began to beep. Faster, faster, their screens flashing, turning green.
Heldra sucked in a breath as the screen beeped in submission. The key turned again and the door opened. An ill green smiled her way and stepped inside.
Hi. I'm looking for a Miss Pleasedontki. Do you know her? I have something to tell her about her husband.
