Yep, it was a weird talent to pick, though... If you were SV, you'd not want to be standing still too much, yet it was deep down on the SV tree, making it pretty much a "must have", if you wanted to pick the top tier Explosive Shot.
well as far i remember it, SV tended too pick i. not as much for the sniper buff (but it was nice when it did went active). but more so for the flat agility gain that was also baked in it.
True that. The flat agi increase forced you to pick it. I was just talking about the other part of it.

with the newest changes amongst it all was
Survival Changes
Apart from rotational changes through Ability Pruning, changes for Survival Hunters mostly center on Lock and Load. We changed how Lock and Load is triggered to increase the value of Multistrike, provide gameplay depth and the ability to pool damage more. Also note the new passive ability, Survivalist, which increases multistrike chance by 10%, in order to give Survival Hunters some baseline Multistrike chance.
-Survivalist is a new passive ability learned by Survival Hunters at level 10.
--Survivalist increases the chance to Multistrike by 10% and the Hunter gains 15% health over 10 seconds after killing a target.
think the fact they added some basic multistrike too the class is an incredibly good change, compared how it is on the Beta atm.
i been testing stuff around with a premade lvl 90 and went SV just as my main is atm, and i got no LnL procs what so ever since i had 0 multistrike. during the Black Portal quest, you gain a few multistrike pieces. but i still had nearly never a LnL proc.
so this is a very welcome change, i'm glad Blizzard listened too us SV testers too add something like this.
That's a really nice change indeed. I'm not in the beta yet, but I can see a spec that got too much leaning on Multistrike will suffer some RNG issues...

Is there an update in the number of tamed pets we will be allowed to have in the stable? I have 50 now, with 5 to summon. There are a couple new ones I would love to tame, but I am not giving up the hard-fought tames I currently have.
I have not seen anything on it, but then I havent logged my hunter into beta yet.

Nothing on that so far. But I doubt we'll see a big raise soon...

Man, just one more screen (10 pets) at the stable would be nice.
As for pipe dreams, it would be cool if we could share pets with other hunters on the same account - like mounts and battle pets.

I also wonder how will
New chimera shot
work damage-wise. will the second target hit be more like bonus if there are two targets, and the damage value be the same on single target? Will it do less damage, but strike same target twice if alone? Or anything completely different?
Can anyone with beta access test this? Would be appreciated.

Say, didn't we have this before, which means it isn't new? Just redesigned?
Aren't all of classes getting old spells back? Just, y'know... modified?
Edit: Fixed the last sentence
Edit2: Fixed the last sentence once more.

MM was very underplayed on MoP, at least on PvE... And on my specific PoV, I never really liked its playstyle. But I can see some really cool buffs for it comming on WoD.

Well, maybe except me, I play MM all the way. I don't want my pet doing so big part of my damage as BM does, and SV...well, with explosive shot I'd feel like a goblin.
And it's not really that bad as most people believe. It's just that there's so few of us in normal (or even heroic) raids that creating some trustworthy sample is difficult.
For WoD, I can feel the value of Aimed Shots multistriking in the air, though removing Steady focus and Piercing shots is maybe too much spec identity gone.

But I feel like the Lone Wolf talent will be amazing for MM hunters.
