My favorite part of 2013 was just a couple days ago: meeting up with my guildmates in Orgrimmar around the giant Christmas tree for our annual Secret Santa tradition. We have been through a lot together over the years, and I can proudly say our core has been playing together for multiple expansions. As a guild leader, feels good to see your members celebrate the holidays together both in and outside of the game.
The Timeless Isle was a fun way for me to get back into the game after a 2 year hiatus.
In real life, definately getting maried is my FOS of the year, in game, finaly moving to populated realm and being able to enjoy more than lfr.
Favorite part of 2013 was my guild coming back together after being out of the game for 2 years, we've all moved on to better places in life, Warlord's of Draenor got us all excited to come back. It was something else to be doing progression raiding in 2013 with the same people you did progression raiding in MC, BWL, ZG and through 5 years of your life!
After many ups and downs, short breaks and long breaks, the last month of 2013 found me back to WoW, playing my beloved hunter. Best moment (game-wise) was the very recent drop of Ashes of Alar!so happy to finally possess that mount after so many times of trying and hoping!Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all!
Running Sunwell with my boyfriend (on his hunter) when Thori'dal dropped! He's been after it for some time, and it was so exciting when it dropped.
Best part of year 2013 was my long awaited purchase of all expansions of World of Warcraft.
The best part of 2013 in WoW was resubscribing, finally getting to the higher levels, and meeting my crazy new guild!
The best part of 2013 was the announcement of Warlords of Draenor! :D
I think my favourite part of 2013 was my over excitement as I obtained ashes of al'ar and slate dire horn mount both in the same day giddy is not the word! And of course WOD being announced that was Pure joy and I'm looking forward to 2014 and what more wow as to offer so here's to the future!
WoW related moment - getting my brother to play with me once again, even if its in a casual manner.Outside of WoW- there were a lot of good moments throughout the year, so its hard to pick just one; I'm just happy it was a pretty good year overall!Happy holidays, everyone! And good luck!
All my friends came back to wow after they saw the Warlords of Draenor announcement at blizzcon.
To be honest, getting the job I wanted. With holding names just because, but was working at a factory as a contractor that does the cleaning there. The company that I worked for told me I had to work a week by myself (2 person job), which I did, then came in the following monday to be terminated. They said I wasn't doing the job to their standards. A friend who worked there told me to go apply for the factory, so I did and within 10 minutes of filling out the application they had called me for a job. I had impressed several higher ups at the plant and they were not happy with my former employers and didn't think they let me go for valid reasons. So I was unemployed for less than a week and I am making more money and much happier. Thats the highlight of this year.
I truly enjoyed the Seige of Orgrimmar. The story was excellent and had a good role play. The fact that Voljin is now the warchief makes me happy!
My favorite part was leaving a bad situation to go to Chicago to live with my loving family and move onward in my life! I couldn't be happier! :)
Probably MoP launch,, i waited out the final hours by the Pandaren faction vender even though it was a school night. It was liek a gamer's new years! even though MoP had alot of highs and lows, it felt amazingly refreshing to get out of DragonSoul everyday. Another thing i really liked was Blizzcon, it was my first and only B-con attendance and I felt so overwhelmed with excitement at all the attractions and places to go and see! one of my favs was the little museum. But my the best part was when they announced the new games and gave no on it - ESPECIALLY Warlords of Draenorr! - So hyped for so many reasons that i couldn't write down w/o making this into anymore of a text wall. It was great! Also, I really loved this Christmas, so many wonderful things have happened this holiday year and i sure am thankful!
Hearthstone beta.
I find the announcement of WoD to be the best part of this year: can't wait to join great heroes in Draenor!
My best 2013 moment must have been: Meeting my girlfriend, then recruiting her to WoW, levelling to 90, and seeing her reaction when I bought her a celestial steed and a cinder kitten for Christmas! Merry Christmas ye fitlhy animals!
Biggest moment in WOW for me in 2013 was discovering the game, don't know what took me so long to drag my sorry self over here to play.
