This is going to be far more then 3 things :p
1. This has indeed been said MANY MANY MANY times, but do not invest all of your cash on the Auction house except for bags. The more space you have the more loot you can carry.
2. I suggest you do Fishing, for me, it was very entertaining, I got acheivements, and I got around 1 gold on a good day.
3. Join a leveling guild, but don't expect to be spoon-fed from high level players that might have joined the guild, they do stuff too.
4. While questing is very good leveling, take a break once in a while and do an instance around your level. Who knows? You might find a piece of gear you can't replace for some time. And not only is it halfway decent exp, there are quests for just about every instance.
5. When there is a quest in your quest log that says (group) to the side, I suggest finding one more player to do this with, because usually it won't be as easy as killing a few Plainstriders.
6. To make some quick money with professions (Other then Fishing, cooking, and First-Aid), go with Herbalism, skinning, or mining. I would go with Herbalism and mining.
7. If you reach level 55 and want to start a Death Knight, you can, but I suggest getting level 80 first, you are so close.
8. If you want to re-roll, go for it. Get the character to level 20-30 to see if it is a class you would like to level up aswell.
9. Don't try to go for every acheivement out there at lower levels, you will find it much easier at around level 60.
10. When an item that drops from an instance seems really nice but it useless to you, do not need on it. Not only will you be making someone else lose out on an item they need, but you can be considered a ninja.
I hope these help, if not, oh well.

Wow Seriously this is a HUGE list of wonderful things even for the most Veteran of players, ranging from guilds to auction house issues. That being said I'm going to throw my two cents in even though alot of what I am going to say is indeed everything everyone else has already said.....
1) Remember To focus your time Killing all mobs around you within 20-30 yards while questing this not only gives you plenty of things to loot and sell, it also gives you wonderful XP...
2) Grouping with someone is good and fine but if your wanting a leveling experience from it DONT group, you are more likely to be just fine on your own and get more XP than you are when you are grouped with someone.
3) Dont beg for Money no matter how mundane the amount its just bad show, plus no one wants to hear that from someone other than the bum outside Stormwind Auction house, stating that for a Cheeseburger today he will gladly pay you tomorrow....
4) Remember this is a game and have fun, so what if you are a Noob, everyone had to start somewhere and we were all noobs at one point or another regardless of our MoG experiences.
5) The only one I can think of other than that is Raid Like you mean it lol and dont AFK or you will get booted.

1. Fizzles, wrong game.
2. Level 80 people are generally pretty nice to everyone, don't be afraid to ask for help unless it's a retribution paladin because they're always cranky.
3. Imagine your aggro radius as about 10 yards larger than it really is and you generally won't overaggro.
Edit- Most importantly of all, beware of barrens chat.
