"It appears so," Keradaa agreed. Her forehead creased in a slight frown as raised voices drifted from the dining hall. "Oh dear."
Character

"Obviously so," Erdwal interjected. "But will fighting about it matter? Or, on that note, will we be able to do anything
at all
that will matter?"

Tsubedai was visibly taken aback by the racist comment and stood in silence, blinking.
"Fighting about it will help kill the time," Conrad guffawed. "Besides, mister smartass has a thick skull," he jabbed an accusing finger in Theradin's direction. "We could use him as a battering ram to get out. And, failing that, the front doors will acquire a delightful red color."

Arthur sighed and leaned his face into his hands. "This is the worst way to spend a summer vacation."
Character:
Zeeta Bladebreaker

Dining Hall
There was a crack from near the end of the table. Zeeta held up what was left of her chair, the dagger-like splintered end of one of the former legs grasped firmly in her hands. She was no longer unarmed, though she was in contempt of her dress.

Lancalor Orcbane
Dining Hall
Lancalor spoke up, having gone unoticed.
"What is the point in fighting? We are all captives in the same prison. It would be easier to simply attempt an escape."

Raegar Stormbreaker, Marrosh of the Warsong Clan
Dining hall
The orc battlemage came to sense in the dining hall. He contained his rage for being probably abducted, then examined his surroundings, and said: "What the-", as he noticed he was in some sort of dining hall. The orc then remembered his manners, saying calmly: "Anyone has any idea of where are we?"
A death knight by his side, "woken" by his comment, said: "I'll tell you where we are not, somewhere were we can't just sit down like this. This can't be good." Marrosh then noticed a Mag'har orc and said to him: "Hey, any idea of the situation, fellow orc?"

"I am just hoping we are in fact in House Daybreak. It would not clear things up much, of course, but at least it would give us something to be certain of," Tsubedai said with a small smile. He held out his hand to the other orc, "Aka'Magosh and well met. I am Tsubedai of the Bleeding Hollow."
"You do that. Sit right there with your goddamn trap shut and wait meekly like ship fit for a slaughter," Conrad nodded with mock approval. "I, for one, intend to find the 'host'. Might as well get to know this place. Who's with me?" he raised his voice commandingly.

Erdwal shrugged. "I'm not getting out of this chair," he said, half apologetically.

"It seems so," Keradaa said heavily. "I'd say something about how war follows us even here, but then I'd have to throw myself off the highest tower. 'Tis the only fitting end for such melodrama."

"Do you have a hearing impediment? What kind of a moron would think I said 'a naval vessel fit for a slaughter'?" Conrad glared at Arthur. "Of
course
the word I spoke was 'sheep'," he added with enough aplomb to make it seem he himself believed this lie.

Arthur shrugged. "As you like." He reached for something in his pocket, then paused and quickly patted himself down. "Took my book too," he grumbled.

Raegar Stormbreaker, Marrosh of the Warsong Clan
Dining Hall
"Marrosh of the Warsong Clan. And you, kid?" The death knight looked at the battlemage, who said, slightly angered: "Raegar Stormbreaker, of the Frostwolf. And I'm no kid. I've already fought in battle and killed."
The death knight then laughed, and said: "You are still naive, kid. You need to learn the hardships of war to be truly a man. Shame that costed my brother's life before he realized it. Now that we are done with the introductions, let's find out what is going on. I agree with your plan, Tsubedai."

"Oh wow," Arthur deadpanned. "A talking cat. What other wonders shall this house subject us to? Maybe the furniture will start floating and doors closing on their own."

The young mage cupped his cheek in a palm and gazed lazily at the cat. "How silly of me. What shall we talk about? Fish? Milk? Or maybe the many benefits of licking yourself."

?
Dining hall.
Unbeknownst to the more outspoken people nearby, there was a man sitting in a chair merely observing the events.
He did not have his deringers and his beasts were gone, but he still had his stealth.

"Yes. I'm simply green as an orange," Arthur replied drily. "Clearly, the ability to stick your face in the place where you once had testicles is a reasonable trade off for opposable thumbs." The human gave her a thumbs up, then slowly flipped it to a thumbs down.
