Please link the info on the next FEW Xpacs.. Where did you find this info? Links or it didnt happen.
Ok so I've been looking into the next few xpacs
Well this is info I've accumulated from many websites and it is known that blizzard has the next xpac under development along with knowing what they will do for the next 2 (maybe) that follow. Burning Legion - Wrathion said he wanted Azeroth to be ready for the coming war. He also showed you azeroth as green meteors crashed into it. Come on! If you don't think that's the burning legion then you are not an expierenced wow player. Ever since Warcraft, burning legion came by riding green meteors into Azeroth. If you want to see, go to shadow moon valley and it happens like evey 3 seconds.

Even before the War of the Ancients trilogy came out, it was fairly obvious that pretty much every thing Illidan was doing was for himself...all that the book series did was make it more obvious how petty, pathetic, jealous, power mad and completely and utterly stupid he was.
Just look at his acts:
Good:
Helped stop the Legion during War of the Ancients.
Stopped a Dreadlord commander.
Sent the Naga after Tyrande after she fell in the river.
Semi-helped the Blood Elves not get wiped out.
Bad:
Betrayed the original Alliance to serve Queen Azshara, and got his eyes burned out for his stupidity.
Decides to recreate the Well....after watching thousands upon thousand die in a war.
Decided that eating the Skull of Gul'dan was a good thing.
Allies with the Naga, knowing that Azshara was evil.
Makes a deal with Kil'jaeden to keep his life...and fails as Arthas kicked the ever loving #$%^ out of him.
Conquerors Outland trying to save his own ass since he knew that KJ was coming to kill him after he failed miserably.
Good/Bad
Almost destroyed Northrend, which would have killed off those allies we got in Wrath, but may have killed the Ner'zhul the Lich King.
But honestly, he needs to stay dead, there is no reason at all to bring the big baby back.

They do not ride the meteors. Those are actually the Infernals, which act as living battering rams for the Burning Legion. Also, Adamsm, why do you think he's a big baby?

Also, Adamsm, why do you think he's a big baby?
Because he never once man's up: All he does is blame everyone else for his problems, and has such a ego/hero/power hunger that pretty much every single bad thing that has happened to him, happened because he caused it. Even getting thrown in the dark for 10 thousand years is his fault; had he never re-created the Well, the Aspects would never have blessed it, and he wouldn't have been made immortal...though, considering that WotA gives a possible age of Azshara as 14 thousand at that point, well....

Well baby or not, blizzard would not go out of their way to make a whole quest line about illidan and the burning legion. I'm pretty sure he's back along with the lich king. Bolivar Fordragon of course. Ill post another thread about him. Undoubtedly he will return even though there is no hard evidence but my idea is he may be used to help save Azeroth from sargeras...we shall see in the next few years.

The only dead raid boss I can see deserving redemption is Arthas.
Illidan, Kael'Thas, they can burn in fel.
They picked their paths for greed, and to sate their addiction.

And the lich queen deserves redemption too?
Illidan, Kael'Thas, they can burn in fel.
Kael'thas dying quote: For... Quel'...Thalas!
His motives where for the benefit of his people.
Illidan only wanted to be batman.
They picked their paths for greed.
Arthas picked his path for greed for power, wrath over the deeds of the dammed, his lust for Jaina, etc.
and to sate their addiction
Vessels of Power
High elves have need for magic too!
Decided that eating the Skull of Gul'dan was a good thing.
He needed the powerbost to kill a dreadlord and a fortress of demons.
Decides to recreate the Well....after watching thousands upon thousand die in a war.
Elves like founts of power?
But honestly, he needs to stay dead, there is no reason at all to bring the big baby back.
But if he kills his brother...
I'm 50/50 on ressing illidan.
But i do think Keal'thas should return and unifi the (blue and red) elves under one (crimson) banner so we can stop with high elves as a playable race arguments.
Not to mention he is the iconinc elf from WC3.

Sorry bud not a chance. Blovar Fordragon took up the throne and will stay there until he is used to help fight off sargeras...Which might happen or he will become a pawn of sargeras and we will have a whole new northrend LK campaign which i HIGHLY doubt.

Every villain is a hero in his own eyes.
He ditched everyone to get more power, how can bringing the burning legion through a portal be a good idea?
On Illidan, Can't stop laffing
Arthas picked his path for greed for power, wrath over the deeds of the dammed, his lust for Jaina, etc.
You have no idea what the actual plot of WCIII was did you?
He used frostmourne as a desperate attempt to save his men, which he did.
He wanted to stop the scourge and killing canon fodder didn't work.
He already gave up his lost love of jaina years ago, why would it cloud his judgement now?
Vessels of Power High elves have need for magic too!
Not fel, arcane. They did whatever they could to avoid fel magic.
Blood elves jumped on the felwagon.
He needed the powerbost to kill a dreadlord and a fortress of demons.
Arthas told him that there were drugs there and he took it and decided to use the POWAH to blast something so he could have an alibi.
Elves like founts of power?
Can't argue with that.

The only reason for him to comeback is for him to say setback again.
And no sane elf would follow kael'thas, only blood elves.

Where exactly are you seeing this quest line thing; since the Council of Black Harvest, which is required for the Green Flame spells and affects, were a group of 6 mortals who tried to gain the full power of the Legion for themselves. Yes, there is a portion where a single player scenario occurs in the Black Temple, but there is no mention at all of Illidan in that questline...since he has nothing at all to do with it.
There are a large number of characters that deserve to come back long before Emo-King.
Decided that eating the Skull of Gul'dan was a good thing.
He needed the powerbost to kill a dreadlord and a fortress of demons. And yet, because of that, he and the Dreadlord further corrupted Felwood...not mention, it was Arthas and Kel who told him about this power boost, so yeah, it was more about power for himself, since he got the advice from Scourge commanders.
Decides to recreate the Well....after watching thousands upon thousand die in a war.
Elves like founts of power? Not all of them; since so many stood with Mal and Tyrande to throw him in jail, shows that. Even when the Highborne were exiled soon after, that was again, a portion of the race and not them all.
But honestly, he needs to stay dead, there is no reason at all to bring the big baby back.

Nah, leave Kael to rest in peace at this point. Lor'themar is the new and improved leader, and I'm really looking forward to what he'll be doing in the next expansion....well hopefully.

Yes, Illidan took the power of the Skull of Gul'dan for himself.
But did he flee with it into the night? Did he use it for his own glory? No... his very first action was to use his new power to assault the dreadlord Tichondrius!
I see it as a powerbost to kill a otherwise impossible foe.
Decides to recreate the Well....after watching thousands upon thousand die in a war.

I can live with that.

*Sigh* It would be nice to see the iconinc elves from the RTS (or their relatives) in Sunfury spire or sin'dorei plots. So far the sunstriders are all dead and the windrunners seems to be high elves or undead. And the high elves are nowadays are just mad at blood elves and their only purpose in the story is to advance the blood elven one.
And I realy wouln't mind replacing Haludron for the title of ranger general.
And i too hope the blood elves get some screntime in the next expansion... Especially if it has Aleria.

I played WC3 yes?
Arthas took the sword becouse he wanted vengance for his people.
Be was angry at the undead. Trashing his ships was so noble right?
Be cared about Jaina when he assulted Dalaran and when Keal'Thas played with swords on him.
Vessels of Power High elves have need for magic too!
Not fel, arcane. They did whatever they could to avoid fel magic.
Blood elves jumped on the felwagon.
What tore the high and blood elves apart was that the sin'dorei wanted to drain mana from creatures like mana wyrms. (Think TBC intro)
And most blood elves got their eye color, not from draining fel. But from being close to it. Think Frostwolves and Their skin color. It is a big mystery why the Alerian stronghold have elves with blue eyes.

Both of which were after he had taken up Frostmourne and had it steal his soul.

Arthas stomped his ass every time they met.
They stood equal in their first encounter in felwood.
And in northrend Illidan would have won. Should he had worn a warm coat.

I'd like to see Illidan back, because he's the only truly neutral character in the warcraft universe, and the "I've seen it all." neutral type:
Allied with a homicidal faction (burning legion)? Check.
Having done a mistake that made him an outcast for his life? Check.
Helped his people even though he was hated? Check.
Almost destroyed the Lich King? Check.
He became a king (more like tyrant tho),even if he ruled a god forsaken gigantic asteroid (Outland).
The only problem with his return that i see,is that if he returns he's bound to ally himself with the alliance/horde/a benevolent faction.Because, what's the point of him coming back if he's gonna get killed again?
He could be a real help however,if he decides to settle in with the "good guys".His knowledge over the demonic could help in case the Legion returns.
Also if handled right by the devs, Illidan could become a good example of character development.
Neutral....not really: Illidan was Me first, screw everyone else, except Tyrande.
As for his knowledge; pretty much any other Night Elf has the same. There is nothing to redeem from Emo-King, so let him stay dead where he belongs.

Perhaps make Maiev Shadowsong return as a sane person.
Or make Tyrande Whisperwind compitent?
Or give Shandris Feathermoon some screentime?
Or kill Malfurion Stormrage?
There is much more to the night elves that Illidan. And much more needed too.

Wrong, what you described was his attitude during the beggining of the War of the Ancients.
What was the first thing he said when Malfurion released him during WC3?
"My brother thinks i'm a traitor,i will show him,i will show them my true power! I'll show him that no demons have no control over me."
This means that he was the self-righteous type, and that's even lampshaded during ending of the War of the Ancients:The sundering book, where he justifies his recreation of the Well of Eternity.Um...let's see: Let's the Scourge manipulate him, serves the Legion, believes that he created the Illidari to 'conqueror' the world when in reality he did it because he was scared #$%^less of Kil'jaeden coming to kill him since he !@#$ed up so royally with the whole 'got his ass handed to him by the Hand of the Lich King' thing....oh yeah, nothing about it all for himself. Every single move he has ever made, except for saving Tyrande during the Third War, was all about him and how much more powerful he was compared to his brother.
And his so-called justification was a load of crock; it was just about him keeping his power because he was afraid without the Well he would lose it.
Edit: Also, why did Illidan try to destroy Northrend? Because it was the 'right' thing to do? NOPE! He did it because if he hadn't of, Kil'jaeden was going to rip his spine out through his mouth and use it as a back scratcher...or he would have done to Illdian what he did to Ner'zhul and tore his body to pieces and tortured his spirit for a long time before sealing him into demon forged metal.
