Yes, but the only one I use is steam. Its convenient to have all your games in one place, games constantly go on sale for fairly cheap (winter and summer sales can have games up to 75% off), and its a good medium to chat with friends. The only real downside to steam is that you don't really own the games, only the license to play them, so if the company goes under, you lose all of your purchases. However, I don't see that happening to Valve.Other digital download services such as EA's Origin I have not tried, and do not plan to, as Steam fits all my current needs, save for a few games that Steam does not have (which I don't see myself playing anyway).
I downloaded steam because portal was free on it :P generally go get people to bother there has to be either a really good product or a freebie. An example of a good product would be curse client, probably the best thing to ever happen to wow addons and customisation.
I do not use any distribution services.
I have Steam because I bought Skyrim when it came out... don't always use it though.
I use to use Steam all the time however WOW as taken over my game play time. I do however like how steam worked. Just having to D/L the game without the CD is just fine with me. I do miss DoD(day of defeat) lol way to go this post as now made me want to play that game like the good old days....however i am sure i will be back to loging onto wow soon.
I use Steam every once in awhile, I first got "hooked" on if because of one of their summer sales. I also like to use GoG.com when I can, I want to support companies that release their games DRM-free.
I use Steam, of course. Who doesn't? I won't touch Origin with a ten foot polearm though. Does the App Store count? I use that too, obviously. I've also used the Nintendo eShop for my 3DS.I am a pretty big fan of downloading instead of having to go to the store, and have a bunch of discs and books hanging around my house. If I can get digital distribution, I usually will.
Using both Steam and Origin, so I can play Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 :)
I love using steam it is like Xbox Live for other people comparing to how much I like it. I play WoW using the non-steam game launcher so I can take pictures and show them to friends on steam. When I don't play WoW I am most likely to play on Steam. I'm on and off with World of Warcraft. :P
I dont have Steam. WoW eats all of my game time.
I used to use steam a lot, but my schedule has not let me do more than play wow lately. I love how easy it is to get new games and see what my friends are playing. the sales don't hurt either :P
I have Steam installed, but I rarely use it. Most of my time is taken up by WoW.
Yes, I use Steam. I mainly only buy Stuff through Steam when they have a sale, I've gotten some really good deals on games through them.
i used steam once when i play left 4 dead long ago......
I use Steam and Origin. Steam has occasional great bargains and a large library, which includes Indy titles, along with demos and useful features. Origin I use primarily when there is a good exclusive deal
I do not use Steam or the like. I only play WoW in my spare time and that's all as far as computer games. Otherwise, I spend time with my family, watch movies, work, and hang out with my friends. Pretty boring, I know :). I do enjoy using Wowhead on a daily basis, if only to pop in and see what's new.
Wow and minecraft are the only 2 games for me intill wow ends im fine
I use Steam, and I think I regret it every time there is a Summer or Winter sale. My wallet cringes and yells at me. It's incredibly easy to use and doesn't impede on your playing.
even though i mostly play wow, i use steam sometimes :)
No, I only play World of Warcraft. Nothing else entertains me as much as this. I love collecting Pets, and I'd really LOVE a Cinder Kitty! To add to my collection ^^ Nothing beats WOW! :)
