steam sales on the weekends are great
I used to use Steam, but when I started playing WoW in earnest, I had no time for any other game.
Yes. I use both Steam and Origin. I use Steam because I got sick of buying boxed games that sit around, re-installing after I do system upgrades and not having games sync'd in the cloud. I also find the installation media in boxed games to be obsolete in some cases, making it more effective to just download the installation media. In short, it's all about connivence for me. Connivence to have all my games in one place without physical installation media to depend on and cloud sync of saved games. Also, I suppose the sales on Steam is a HUGE benefit as well.Lastly, I only use Origin for games that are not available on Steam that I enjoy (Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, largely).
I use steam because they have some good deals plus even though I don't use it today I like the fact they are supporting Linux.
Missing those fire days when you get fried by DW on a random time.... Can i have fire pet?No i dont use then. Well... i used Steam once when i wanted to buy game for my little brother :) Though i falow steam on Twitter to see what good game sales are there... Some are just too cheap not to buy...
I use steam for its ease of use with downloads and updates, and it's generally good prices, especially with their specials.
Yes. I use Steam because its more comfortable to download games instead of buying them in a game shop. And I use Origin because I have to if I want to play Battlefield 3.
Eeee! Cinder kitten is sinfully cute!
I use steam sometimes. But then it's often Portal/Portal 2 I play :P
No, I don't use. I only use my PC to study and play WoW.
"No, i don't.. the only game I play on my computer is WoW"Same here.
Well... with all honesty... I don't use any kind of distribution services. I pirate all the games I play except WoW. I bought the game via retail and I continue to buy the gametime that way as well.
I do use Steam to buy new games that come out. The only exceptions are MMOs that do not support Steam (I sometimes look into other MMOs just to get a feel of them).
Do you use digital download services such as Steam? If so, which ones and why?I use steam. I find it convenient to not have to store all the game discs and I can easily install steam on any computer and get access to my games.
I did use steam for a while. Then I found WoW and steam has started to pick up cob webs since then.
Yes, I use steam, and love it as a 'point of purchase' and delivery platform.
I use only Steam. They offer regular sales and community and treat their customers well.
I do use Steam and gog.com from time to time, mostly because of the availability of older titles and because it's so quick and easy to get them.
Steam and Origin. Origin with Battlefield :D Steam, a lot, for the price of games ;)
I only use Steam at the moment. I first got it for playing Half-Life 2, but enjoy it for the ability to easily purchase and download games on the spot.
