I've used steam in the past but only for specific games they've supplied. Seems like downloadable games are the way of the future - even gaming platforms are using this (playstation store etc) more prominantly
I use steam a lot, it's really useful, it has every game i install or downloaded, plus purchased in one single application, instead of having 20 different icons all over my desktop screen, plus i love the chat system they use that you can use in-game or out of the game, anytime you want to, so you're always in-touch with friends. Origin as well, I use that for my command and conquer games, same as steam :)
I use Steam because it's functional and easy to use
Yeah i do Sometimes i use game for microsoft points ect and buying online digital pc games
I have used steam and other similar stores in the past but most of the time I will choose the non-steam version of a game if it is available.

I use steam on very rare occasions
I used to use Steam years ago for when I played Counter Strike: Source. Dont really play anything other than WoW at the moment, but I am well aware almost everything is heading to digital download. Dvd and Cd stock has been decreasing in stores, its all gonna be digital in time. Its just easier, and saves time.As for World of Warcraft, I still prefer to buy the retail version. I've kept each box and have them on display in my living room, and will continue to do so for as long as I can. Some things just mean more than others for us collectors :)
In the beginning I didn't like these downloading platforms. I used to have hard copies of everything and made sure the boxes were in perfect state. But after a while, most of my shelves got filled up with games I hardly ever play but love to have hanging around just to look at them. A filled shelf is like a photo album. Every game has its own memory and story to tell (beside the gameplay of course).although a platform like Steam will never fulfill this feeling of achievement like when I look at my shelf, I still love the fact I have many nostalgic games at my disposal, just one mouse click away.So yes, I'm pleased with these type of platforms. I do hope they add a certain "shelf-like" feeling to the library so I can start creating my own artshow with the games I own!
I try not to use programs such as steam as much as possible. They get hacked way too much, like what happened recently with origin.
nope
I use Steam. Usually for the Humble Bundles, but the summer sales are pretty rad too. I like having a digital library. I can happily uninstall things, but can get them back anytime. At one point I also reluctantly got Origin for SW:TOR. It has since been uninstalled, along with SW:TOR.
Steam has caused me to purchase way too many games with their sales. Maybe one day I'll get to them all.
I not playing any games that requires any digital download services other than World of Warcraft right now.
Yes, I use Steam because it's easier to keep track of the purchased games that way.
I use steam, but the only good feature on steam is the "join friends game" feature.
I dont, WoW's all ive got... and its all I need! Lol!
