Yes I use Steam. It's a good way to get games. As long as you have the account and internet you keep the games. Sales happen frequently. Being that the sales are almost right in my face, I am more likely to buy the game even if it wasn't one that I was highly interested in. Opposed to sales that happen in store that I am rarely aware of. It also has a good way of keeping track of what your friends are playing so that you can play with them.
Never used, but saw a lot of people buying games there (and playing Dota 2). But WoW takes so much time :(.
To Steam, or not to Steam, that is the Question.Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous download times,Or to take arms against a sea of traffic to the nearest Gamestop, And by opposing, end them. To disc, install. No more. And By a disc to say we end the heartacheAnd the thousand natural hours of download wait times that flesh is heir to?Tis a hard copy devoutly to be wished.
I have steam and used it for gmod and terraria, but since then I haven't really logged on steam in forever.
I use Steam and Gamersgate, because I find more convenient, environment-friendly and less expensive (especially during massive sales) to buy games that way. I also use Origin, but mostly because I have to in order to play some EA games... (I actually don't find it to be bad, it just doesn't have the massive sales that make me buy games elsewhere...)
I do, Steam and Origin. I like the Origin one better, although Steam has better prices and a bigger library of games :)
Banana
I use steam prices are good on games and it has a big library of games to choose from so if the game you want isn't on sale there is probably another good game on sale you can play.
I use Steam quite often, because it is convinient in use. I bought some games from it, just as easy as going to the store for a game. So yeah, I keep using such portals for my software/games.
I do use steam but I don't use it often. Once they make it so that I can import steam games I've legitimately purchased elsewhere I might use it some more.
Never used Steam, I've never needed it to be honest; I only play WoW on my pc; for other games...I'm a console player!:)
i dont use Stream i only play WOW and Diablo on my computer.
I use steam for the convenience of the installation, though it certainly falls short of being a perfect experience. There are many games where it tries to re-install requirements such as runtimes each time, but I can manually adjust that on a per-game basis.
Yes, I use Steam and Curse. Curse makes it easier to download mods and stuff. Steam is basically required to download a bunch of PC games. Steam makes downloading games easier, though. They each help a lot.
I use Steam, it's a lot more convenient than physical media and achievements are a plus.
I use Steam a lot, Wow isn't even installed.
