Well, WoW takes up most of my free time now. I dont use steam much do to technical inferiority and such. I still have an account, and I imagine that one I upgrade my computer, Ill use it a lot more.
I mainly use Steam, but got 1-2 games each on Origin and uPlay (Ubisoft).
I love Steam! My main reasons are:* Easy to use, I like browsing the new games and seeing the trailers/screenshots and having the ability to buy it all in one place without needing to Google all of that.* Automatically stores all my games in 1 place and lets me organize them the way I want.* Achievements!* Steam Cloud is awesome, cloud saving in general is.* Lots of bargains in the sales... this might actually be a bad thing since I tend to buy more games than I have time to play.* Space-efficient. I don't like having clutter in my life, going digital removes all the clutter that comes from physical game boxes and discs and whatnot.I've tried Origin and I hated the fact that I had to now have 2 separate things where my games were stored. So instead I just stopped using it entirely and stuck with Steam.Haven't tried other digital download services, aside from the Humble Indie Bundles (which gives keys to Steam as well as individual exes).Lately I've only been playing on WoW and Minecraft though.
Bought a Steam account several years ago, use it once in a blue moon. Other than that I really don't use anything, as WoW fulfills my gaming needs. I don't think the Curse client counts, but I'm mentioning it anyway ^_^ On a side note, a little fire kitty would go perfectly with my fire mage :3

I just play WoW, but my bf uses Steam every day.. he says it's a lovely way how to get games, share them with his friends and be updated about everything .)On a side note, I have to say poor Cinder Kittens! Everyone always runs around poking these poor pets to hear that "meow!" sound. How would you like that! They shall set them ablaze!>:/
I use Steam. It almost makes me think that DRM isn't the cancer of the video game industry. Of all the places online that I buy things I feel like Valve is on my side, and on the side of the creators.I technically have Origin installed. It is definately not Steam. I only have about 4 games in it and I have held out buying things through it to see if there was a non-origin way to purchase the game. Basically I use it because EA makes me.Though technically only loosely in the spirit of your question, I also buy stuff through Good old Games. GoG.com. They have a great selection of DRM free classic games, that have been re-packaged and saved from a fate of becoming "abandonware". If the game only runs in DOS they package it with a pre-configured version of DOSBox.
I use Steam and Gamersgate. Steam for the bundle deals, and Gamersgate to avoid the modifications they sometimes do that makes patching beta files practically impossible (Europa Universalis in particular).
I use Steam occasionally.
I use steam mostly for the discounts they offer on bundles. DLC for games I already play or packages for things that I've wanted to play but have been waiting for prices to drop.
one does not simply play WoW without looking up something on WoWhead !
No. I never used them. I dont need them for now.
my son uses steam and has a ton of games that he plays on it
I only use Steam for some games such as Civ5,LA Noire,Orcs Must Die
