"You think they're friendly?" Cori asked as he placed a hand on the rifle on his shoulder.

"Should have let me die..." Triberk mumbled, getting up and stumbling out of the med bay. He stopped at the door, glancing back at Nora. "I'll... see what I can do for equipment and then get started wherever we need it most, which I'm guessing is here if Harvard doesn't want to argue with me." He stated, heading out of sight.
"Can we
not
start this off by pointing guns at eachother?" Des asked from where he hid.
Spike nodded, grumbling at Cori reaching for his gun.

Though noticeably less than an hour had passed since his departure,
Nidhogg
dropped out of the sky, landing on a clear patch of ground near Harvard.
"Officer Harvard, sir!" Mickey boomed through the dynamics installed on his vehicle. "I found native terrans, sir!
"She'll be alright she'll be alright she'll be alright..." Alistair chanted under his nose, rocking back and forth as he worked on a medic power suit.
"As the old fart Arcturus puts it, 'You can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others.' Well, so I heard anyway," Greg nodded.

"Just. So," the scientist agreed with Greg. "Now be still," he instructed the head while measuring out a blow from the crowbar like a hitter waiting for a fastball. "Fore!" he called loudly as he took the swing.
While he succeded in caving in the troll skull's forehead, he also managed to send the whole thing into the wall behind the desk - splattering various viscous fluids across the lab - and, rebounding off it, onto the floor where it proceeded to roll behind a cupboard. Cursing quietly to himself he dropped the crowbar on the floor with a loud
clank
and went to find the escaping head.

Celene watched as the man seemed to continue along, walking towards them. "Okay, yeah, they know we're here." She nodded.
Triberk made his way through the twisted and awakward hallways, working to keep his footing as he headed deeper into the ship, eventually coming to the engineering bay. The door was out of power, twisted and busted inwards from where a steel beam had slammed into it.
"Alright here, I gotta get in..." He muttered, gripping the manual latch. "So out of the way you go!" He twisted the bar, the gears groaning from the strain they were already under, the bent and twisted door slipping free from where it had rested and falling down into the room.
William panted a moment, nodding at the darkened room. "Okay, let's see what Santa brought."

"Sorry!" Fred called cheerily a moment before he reappeared with the head held firmly in his grasp by the hair. "Towel over there," he said and waved the severed head in the direction of a small washbasin, spraying droplets of cranial fluid around in the lab.

"Negative, sir! I suppose I shall withdraw my report until we're done with the possible friendlies. Since they are qualified as possible, I'm happy to report that my gatling cannons are primed and ready, sir!" Mickey said cheerfully, the viking stomping after Aiden.
Agile as always, Greg lifted his arm, the blood splattering against his wrist and leaving his face unsullied.
"Looks fun," he grunted with a smile, telekinetically lifting a towel and sending it to Eva.

Celene eyed the approaching man, waiting until he was close enough to address. "Hello?" She waved.
Spike tilted his head curiously.
Triberk stepped up to the glass window peeking into the locker room. Unlike the entrance to the bay itself, the door deeper in lacked a manual latch for use in lock-down emergencies. All safety regulations would say William should either disassemble the door, or find a way to power it.
Hefting a chair, the engineer reminded himself he had never cared much about safety regulations; smashing the seat through the window and admitting himself into the next room.
Next, he lifted up a massive power drill, cords dangling and leading back to the large piece of equipment it was attatched to for power (batter power, as the Engineering Bay wasn't provided with the limited amount of power the ship could spare).
Firing it up, the sound of grinding metal filled the room and sparks began to fly as the tip of the drill connected with Triberk's own locker in a crude attempt at opening it.

Pray wheeled forward slightly, listening to the sounds of echoing marching and the moans of undead.
The muffled sounds of gunfire echoed out occasionally.
"Sounds like someone beat us here." She said.

Loki stood up on the edge of the crater and wiped the sweat from his face as he gazed at his work. It had been a couple hours and more engineers from Dun Morogh had come to help and now the thor walker was unearthed and standing in the middle of the crater. Richard was standing on the back of the walker as he had used a blowtorch to remove some of the metal plating to access it's power source. "This is fascinating." He mumbled tracing wires.

"Ooh, aren't you the ugly one?" Frederich said after having put the head back on the table. "Time to see what you can offer us."
Using the foot of the crowbar as a spoon of sorts, he dug out a lump of troll brains and dumped it on the table. For the next few minutes he then prepared another microscope slide which he promptly stuffed in his pocket, just a second before an angry beeping could be heard behind the cabinet.
"Cake's done!" he exclaimed and rubbed his hands, scurrying behind to retrieve the blood sample.

"They appear to be underage, sir," Mickey thundered, ever the observant one. "And by that, I of course mean how underage terrans would look, sir."
"We should film this and sell the tape to UNN, then have them broadcast it instead of cooking shows," Greg muttered to Eva.

"I came upon their patrol camp," Greg explained. "There were five of the savages, including a medicine man. They seemed capable of intelligent speech, but the only thing I could make out of their gibberish was 'voodoo'. Even that is a biggie, I think.
Their base, well, I haven't seen it if they have it in the first place, but I did sight what looked like a huge stadium further to the south."
"I am astonished that we speak the same language!" Mickey announced. "Unless it is some sort of psychic communication. Our ghosts and spectres would have picked that up though, right, sir?"
"But, manners! Greetings to you, native Nico! I would have shaken your hand but alas, I am otherwise preoccupied. This is a thrilling meeting!"
