It would seem
this NPC
implies that Night Elves do believe in joining with Elune after death.

Although when you die in game as a night elf you do get turned into one until you respawn.
Still falls under gameplay and story.
Well as oneforthemoney just said, you turn to a wisp when you die in the game. And I find it very strange that Blizzard has established what happens to Night Elf Druids when they die (they go to the emerald dream), while not even giving a hint as to what happens to a regular night elf.
Any Druid would go there. And they don't give a hint, because there isn't anything to make a hint for; none of the races really have an afterlife. Closest hint is that the Naaru sent Bridenband on to a place of peace...which really, is a description of death.
It would seem
this NPC
implies that Night Elves do believe in joining with Elune after death.
Which could mean that they join with the Goddess; not that they live on in some afterlife.
Also Adamsm stated that the void is not an actually place but rather the state of being non existent, but I can't find anything that confirms this.
The Void is where creatures such as Voidwalkers draw their power, but they themselves came from the Nether.

I feel like Blizzard hasn't released anything at all about it... including whether the other races believe in it or not. Nowhere does it say that the races believe in an afterlife...
... but also, nowhere, does it say they DON'T believe in an afterlife. Adams's thoughts feel like speculation to me. I think it's kind of silly, as we have no info right now.

We know the orcs are right, because they actually
see
their ancestors spirits, but we don't know if trolls actually reincarnate, for example.
But whatever beliefs they hold, Blizzard has mostly held off on telling us about them.

Okay have to ask: Why does there have to be an afterlife? WoW doesn't need one, it doesn't really add anything, and there isn't all that much really needs to be expanded on it.

The prevalence of religious worship?

Well, we know souls exist. And that they tend to pop up if you start screwing with graves, so there is something after. What exactly that is be it getting trapped in an ancient rocket ship or what have you, we have few things to go on.

Considering the Slyvannas Short Story, there is likely an afterlife for High Elves, which would imply one for night elves, who they are an offshoot of.

As the Church of the Light, the Priestesses of Elune, The Loa, the Ancients and a large number of the other religious stand ins don't really speak of a realm beyond, seems like it makes more sense that isn't one.
Even with what the Naaru do in Icecrown, could be seen more as letting our favorite crusader free of the pain of undeath.

Most of the ghosts we encounter are those who had things left over or were never properly put to rest. As for the Orcs, the Ancestors interact with their descendents.

Or it's something the devs haven't put in. We don't see any confirmed homosexuals in WoW. Does that mean they don't exist?

Then you haven't seen any blood elves.
Yeah i had to say it.

Or it's something the devs haven't put in.Or it's something they don't want in. So far we've seen/heard about the Deep Dark from Sylvanas and Arthas, and the Naaru promised to take Bridenbraid away from his pain. Other then that, there really isn't any reference to an after life, since Druids joining the Dream seems to fall under the same umbrella as the Ancestors.
Edit: Don't forget in Orcs vs Humans there was a reference to Heaven and Hell that was retconned as soon as Tides of Darkness came out; they may not want their to be an afterlife mythos in Azeroth.

We have a few confirmed afterlives. It makes sense that, like most fantasy, WoW has them too. We just haven't heard about them.
Edit: And how weird is it that we've somehow switched roles?

Hang around a spot long enough, bound to happen.

Because it's the spirit of the Druid that goes into the Dream, and works to teach the next group of Druids.
