Do you ever intentionally let people die?

Man, people are a lot nicer than I am. I've leveled up two toons with a buddy of mine, both of the times we were both healing and tanking (one set I was healing, he was tanking, the next was flipped). We were decked out in heirlooms so from 1 to almost 80 we could pretty much solo the dungeons and if the DPS got too pushy or were pulling trash before he or I were ready we'd let them die all the time. One time though we ended up as DPS and healer, the tank ran into the next room, LoS'd us and died. The tank got mad because he didn't get healed, decided to pull the room again (including the boss) and leave the group to throw the aggro onto us. We easily killed it all and the whole group had a good laugh.

Dps can glyph it now where it doesn't taunt. Unless you had some dork who DIDN'T glyph it.
Because you need it, to save the poor healer who has pulled aggro either by healer the DPS who pulled aggro or the tank who can't keep it. I would rather have the mob pounding on me in plate then the healer in cloth.
There is nothing wrong with Death Grip tauntnig, there is little need to use death grip unless you want to change the mobs attention.

I don't play a tank or a healer, but my boyfriend does, and rarely plays anything else. When he is running, he's more than happy to let DPS die who are refusing to get out of the bad, trying to tank, who are trailing behind and not even trying to hit the mobs, who are needing on everything and can't be kicked, etc. If it's the needing, not participating or the running ahead and pulling back to the tank thing, he'll also have me misdirect to them if he's the tank, or refuse to res them when they die as the healer so they have to run back.
The moral of the story is if you won't work as a team, and you don't play fair with others, we will pad your repair bills to high heaven.

I do, unless it is clear that entire group is geared well then it's just faceroll.
But if people are leveling and there's just that one person who wants a rush through, I'll let him die or let him heal/survive on their own.

Fistweaver?
A mistweaver that heals by spanking the mobs rather than targeting group members for direct heals.
Debuff from fistweaver includes black eyes and bloody noses, but still maining good health.

If I think the healer or the tank suckz becouse they don't play the game the way I want them to play it or just am in a bad mood I offend pull more mobs their ways for the LOLZ, then use flying serpent kick and roll to get my self away.
If people kick me or refuse to heal or tank for me after that I just think they are *!@#heads, whatever, if you can't take the game don't play it.

I stick with the tank, and do my best to keep everyone alive. But if someone other than the tank runs out of my healing range then I don't chase after them.
I once ran a random dungeon and got a DPS who happened to be in my guild. This is a guild I've ony joined for the perks, and no one really seems to do anything together. I certainly had never talked with this person before. She ran off and tried to solo something on the other side of the room from where the rest of the party was. When she died she kinda chewed me out for letting her, a guildee, fall.
When I told her that I don't chase after solo'ers she replied something to the effect of "I I wasn't soloing! I just got turned around and started fighting over here by myself!"
Un, yeah. That's exactly what soloing is, dummy. Some people's kids...

My comments are not directed at the peeps going into dungeons/raids for the first, second or even the third time. I understand we all have to learn and start somewhere (in those situations, I expect new folk to give the group a heads-up).
I agree with this - a headsup is always nice. Except, some WoW players not being as nice as you, doing this opens that person up to a lot of scorn and jeers about their being so inexperienced. I understand that they'll still get yelled at anyway when they play badly, but no one likes putting themselves out there for extra ridicule. So I can see why a lot of people won't say that they're new before they start acting like a tank when they're dps or standing in the fire.
For myself, back when I was a new player, I had such a terrible experience overall in dungeons as I leveled that I gave up on them - it as really disheartening to be constantly yelled at for not putting out enough dps (I had no heirloom gear). I did my best as a n00b - I was careful to set the tank as my focus, and only attack what he attacked, but when you're new, mistakes will happen. It was already intimidating being around better players than I, and getting cursed and yelled at didn't help. So I quit dungeons completely, and haven't done one since, other than transmog runs / helping guildies in the lower level ones. (I've found my niche on the pvp side of things!)
I'm glad to see that a lot of people here won't let someone die without multiple chances of redemption before they're written off as a lost cause. It would just be nice for new folk if this was was the standard, not the exception, but I know it's wishful thinking. The anonymity of the computer screen allows people to say a lot of things they'd never say face to face with someone else. :P
