The bulk of people seem to have missed my origional point unfortunately, this does however show how much they rely on AH n the economy. This wasn't really something i had any concern over, the AH normally being over-priced and not something i generally look at for materials. My point was that many players have spent many hours (if not months) working on their beloved characters proffesions and i thought it might be nice if Blizzard could give them a little bit of recognition in a game that is currently being dumbed down to make it easier for the masses :/
It's just Blizz relenting once more to the whines of "do I have too?" and Blizz responding "no you don't"
How much longer before they relent on all the MoP dailies rant.
They continue to strip away at the essence of WoW.
Yes it may be an "anatomically" faster game, but not a better WoW.
WoW rewards system use to be based on accomplishment, now it's based on participation.
Makes me wonder what Blizz actually thinks of their current customer base. Are we that inept or lazy in their eyes that we can't handle even a little challenge, chore or disappointment anymore. :/.
That we have to be coddled and pampered and worse....pacified.
Seems I have a higher regard for what players can handle then Blizzard. People in general will rise and sink with what is put in front of them. Players adapt, but only as far as necessary.
Before anyone posts the sub numbers as proof of acceptance, just remember there were 11 million at the end of TBC....when the game was supposedly so much more tedious.

Well on that point I disagree. I don't look for rewards for something I've already done, even if it's now subsequently easier. I mean hell, if we're going down that path where are the refunds for 1000g dual spec, 100g riding training, the hours spent levelling weapons skills, the hours/days spent grinding Wintersabre and Timbermaw rep, etc. etc. etc.
I don't begrudge progress in the game or the fact that things have changed. I could begrudge it, I could pull the 'Get off my lawn and pull up your pants' card, but I don't. !@#$ changes. Deal with it.

Call me crazy...BUT:
* The choice remains to level cap your toon and do it with GI, or level-as-you-go.
* AH will peak and trough, as it has done since it's inception. YMMV per server however.
* Been here 8 years and I'm seeing more and more content than ever before. There is a vast array of different things to do within the World now. At some point concessions need to be made to enable players, purely from an available time perspective, to see that content - ease of profession levelling at level cap is one way to achieve that. I'm involved with my BPets, I'd like to be raiding more often, I want to smash through the Brawler's Guild, I want to make every prof mount and pet in the game...the list goes on and on and on and I realise I need to quit my day job and go live in Khaz'goroth.
Again, individual choice remains. I'm old-fashoined and tend to level profs as my toon levels, that's not for everyone though. My BS has been gathering plans for longer than is sane and needs less than 30 individual plans to have every BS plan in the game (that hasn't been discontinued or removed) and I'm not the least bit worried about whether the new way is viable or if it will break the economy.
On a side note that doesn't appear to have been addressed (unless my bleary-WoWshot-eyes missed it)...does anyone think it might just reduce the number of botters?
