Amanda glared at her disciples as they returned. "Why is there no one accompanying you? Your task was a simple one."
"Forgive us, Bishop Shadowheart, but Shadowbender intervened," Amanda's jaw clenched in frustration as Hannah spoke. "We were about to apprehend the man - a human priest who steals the Shadow as Maria steals the Light - but he intervened."
"And you did nothing about that?"
"We attempte to, Bishop, we considered attacking, but in the end I felt it best that we return to you so that you may handle the situation as you see fit. Shadowbender is a pascifist, but he made his intentions that he would not be letting the human go so easily."
Morec crossed his arms and thought. A human Shadow Priest... he had thought he had seen Russel at the Caverns before his departure... could he be here? "Perhaps I should check this out," he said. "If this human is who I believe he is, then I may be able... no, no that wont work at all."
"Why not?" Lord Rivendare asked.
"Back in the future I come from, I was still very much pretending to be as insane - my reprieve from it did not come as early as yours did. It was a ploy I was using to avoid notice while I worked on my plans." That made him wonder... whatever might have become of Dawn?
"I see," Lord Rivendare nodded. If this him was anything like him, which he was sure he was, then there was no need for questions about intentions. "So, I shall handle this then?"
"That would likely be best. Be sure to ask the human his name, that way I will be able to know if I am alone here or not."
"I will do. Sithia, would you like to come with?"
Sithia had been quite this whole time, thinking and regenerating what little power she had expended while scrying the portals. "I would love to," she said, smililng and standing. The pair walked away, taking their exit of the tower they had purchased in the Uppercity to call home and heading down to the darkest levels of the Undercity.

Lak'tuk smiled. "Maybe... Yes, actually, but first I want to make sure that father is able to get his message to the Shadow Council. Him alone might only make them suspect some sort of illusion, but with me there to confirm the story it will be harder to deny to cases of the same spell - especially where no such spell exists."
"Koren," the present-day Curho asked. "Is Lady Dag'rema around? I think she would be most interested in what is happening here."
Character:
(Alpha-Version) Salja
Location: (Alpha-Past Timeline) Gadgetzan, Tanaris
"Den wha was she screamin like she was undah attahk?" Salja asked, not believing the orc woman's words one bit.
Character:
(Alpha-Version) Blaine Jeret
Location: (Alpha-Past Timeline) South of Lor'danel, Darkshore
A scent whifted through the air and Blaine sniffed deeply of it. Smoke. Definately smoke. And definately smoke from the greatwoods of Darkshore and Ashenvale. The worst would be a fire, with the Catalysm far from healed he expceted as much... but then a different thought crossed his mind, a worse chance:
Horde.
He should have stayed away from them, he did not need to get himself captured or killed - especially now. But... If there was an invasion or raiding party in the area, than Lor'danel would need to be warned. And to make sure there was or wasn't, he needed ot investigate.
The youngest Jeret sibling determined where the smoke was coming from, and jogged off in that direction.

((oh god here it goes. character descriptions in QA because this is long enough as it is..))
Faithbender Praey
Silvermoon City
Praey walked the streets of Silvermoon City aimlessly, having already delivered her wares for the day. The priestess smiled widely, her tusks gleaming in the sun as she swayed her hips. She was in a fantastic mood, with food in her belly, money in her pocket, and tiny little thing of an elf asleep in her bed at this inn. It was a good day indeed.
Ashiena & Daenak Liontusk
Darkshore
"Shh..." Daenak corrected, holding a large digit up to his lips. "Yah makin' too much noise Ash!"
The younger troll glared playfully at her brother but lightened her footsteps as they continued to hunt. The forest was dense and quiet, the two trolls and their animal companions not making a sound as they prepared to take out the small group of deer.
Mali's fur bristled in anticipation, but his older brother, the white lion Baac, was calm - almost lazy - in his approach. His demeanor matched his owner's, the older sibling casual as he hunted. Ashiena, on the other hand, was awkward when in groups; a stark contrast to how she could fly through the forest unseen when alone.
In truth, Daenak intimidated her. But she would never admit it.
Av’ka Treeshift
Felwood
Av'ka crept through the jungle quietly, her large tiger form not making a sound. She hated this place, so full of taint. And that's exactly why she was here, to investigate the magics and do what she can to stop it. The druid stopped, sniffing the air. The fel-taint clogged her nose and filled her lungs with a stench she would never forget. Her sense of smell was useless here. It was a good thing her ears were sharp.
Frustrated slightly, she perked up her ears and listened. Voices. The troll wiggled her nose and followed along towards the noise.
Tza’tali Treehugger & Yo’ou Firemane
Northern Barrens
"Yo'ou, stop!" Tza'tali managed to squeak out in between her fits of giggles, the troll squirming and slapping to get away.
"Neva, neva yah silly girl, yah mine!" Yo'ou grinned, laughing as well as he tickled his mate's ribs even more, his fingers flying. "Yah squirm more, I tickle more, yah know da deal!"
The two were laying in the grass under a large tree, a blanket set up for a picnic lunch out on the savannah. Their sandwiches and vegetables remained untouched however, as the two youth in love spend their time flirting, tickling and teasing. "Stappit yah monster!" Tza'tali squealed again, trying to pry his hands away from her sides as she laughed.
Azi Stormwing
Darnassus
Azi dropped to her knees, coughing heavily. She heaved and heaved, tears streaming down her cheeks as the coughs transitioned to sobs. The troll-elf was ignored by the few elves that passed her by the side of the road, but she wouldn't have paid them any heed. She even ignored Steve as he rubbed against her side, looking worriedly up at her.
Her life was gone. All gone. Her parents... her little sisters... Azi choked back tears again, her heart caught in her throat as she slammed the soft ground with her fists. "Ma... Da... " she moaned, her voice lost in her sobs.
She stayed like that, curled up in the fetal position near the edge of Darnassus for a long time. Finally, after what could have been hours, an exhausted half breed began to make her way to the Bear Tree, the agreed meeting place.
Tahni Treewing & Ja’ak Treehugger
Southern Barrens
Tahni glanced sideways at her brother as they ate, concerned about him deeply. "You okay Ja?" she asked him quietly, passing him another roll.
Ja'ak took it gently, looking at his his sister with with a small smile. "Yes," he replied, biting into the bread and chewing slowly. "Are you?"
Tahni blinked a few times before finally nodded. "Yeah. No. Maybe?" she sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "No, I'm not. How are you so strong Ja'ak..."
Ja'ak sniffed his nose a little, looking down. "I'm not," he replied simply.
Llynarai Runesong
Orgrimmar
Llynarai threw a coin on the counter of the tavern, taking the entire bottle of whiskey with her. Her cloak and armor shielded her glowing runes from view, but the blood elf didn't care. Anyone with any experience with fel magic or demons could smell it on her anyways. And then there was Shiboo; originally a frostsabre, the cat was bent and twisted beyond his original form by Llynarai and several of her teachers. He now had fel-green eyes that smouldered, a sickly pale green tinge to his fur, and several jagged shards of bone tainted with fel jutting out of his back and shoulders.
He was a perfect match to his twisted mistress. Llynarai stood outside of the tavern, tucking the bottle under her arm as she lit a smoke. She took a deep drag, blowing the smoke out slowly as she glared at the residents of the city.
Ganjaru Evergreen, Zane the Haunted & Tigermaster K’ode
Gagetzan
The trio of trolls walked the desert of Tanaris, headed towards town. They were all silent, save for Padfoot, K'ode tiger, who was panting. Zane's visible eye was focused on nothing, his face void of all emotion. His body was on autopilot, but that was not uncommon these days. Especially the last few.
Ganjaru smoked his pipe, his ever-present grin gone for the time being as he too focused on the town in the distance. His walked with a slight limp, the motion made more visible by his awkward trek through the uneven sand.
K'ode did nothing but keep watch around them, being ever cautious. He saw a group of people ahead and kept his eye on them, not wanting a confrontation with bandits.
Teniki Windwalker & Nat of the Beat
Tirisfal Glades
"Why here?" Teniki growled, punching the air with an angry fist. "Why do we have to end up here, in the middle of bloody nowhere, on the opposite side of the world then where we need to be?"
"Calm down," Nat said forcefully. The troll female was aged beyond her years, her once-beautiful face ragged with scars. "We will get dere. Dere is portals in Undacity."
Teniki shot Nat a look, but knew the older troll was right. They could head there. "Fine," she spat, wiping her nose with the back of her hand. "We go there. Aiko!" The windrider growled slightly, heading to her side and rubbing her hand with his nose. "We'll go scout..."
The young halfling pulled her googled down and effortlessly jumped in Aiko's saddle, the two taking the the skies quickly. Nat sighed and stood there helplessly as she waited.

Tae'sash Firebloom(Doomed)/Tae'sash Firebloom(Alpha)
Silvermoon City
Tae stalked through the streets of the city, not really paying attention to where he was going. The Blood Elf was following one of his phoenix's, the small fire bird winging towards where his target was.
Tae'sash hummed to himself as he picked through supplies at the market, the young Blood Elf grinning as he found a new herb. "What do you think?" He asked Aya, the serpent making a low hiss from where she was curled up around his arm. Both of them ignored the strange look the other people in the square were giving him.
To'ka Stormshift, Ka'va Treewing(Doomed)
Darnassus
The pair sat in silence, both of them shocked to learn what had happened in this time line. Ka'va sighed as she put her head in her hands, staring at the ground.
"Do you want to find him?" She asked quietly, and To'ka grunted in response, unsure of what to say.
Zala, Miriria
Darkshore
"We should get moving again." Zala said, pacing the clearing, her spear held tightly in her hands. "Go to a city, find out what is happening, hunt down the @#$%^ and kill her."
"Yes, because I'm sure the Horde would love to see me." Miri said soothingly, warming her feet in front of the fire. "I think we should go to Moonglade; the Druids would be a better choice." She told her friend who grunted, and continued to pace.
Kiran Hartford, Koran Lighthammer(Alpha)
Open Sea
The two half-lings were on a boat heading for Darkshore, the pair intending on going for a walk about of Kalimdor. Koran rested against the railing, looking at his best friend. "Ya know, we could have given her a message." The half-dwarf said quietly.
"Nah, she wanted time alone." Kiran said, blushing a little. "I'll see her next time I'm up north." The half-elf relaxed back, staring up at the sky.
Koran grunted as he shook his head. "The pair of ye are nuts." He said.
Garos Windwalker(Alpha)
Durotar
The young shaman in training sighed as he glared at the plant which didn't want to grow. "Why won't it work?" He said, looking up at his teacher. The old tauren chuckled at him.
"Patience boy." Marg Earthtotem said, shaking his head. "Everything comes to those who wait."
Garos sighed and went back to work, focusing on calling Earth and Water to try to get the plant to sprout, as the land needed more green here to help the orcs thrive.
Maybe I should ask to be sent somewhere else; I mean, it's not like it's fun here.
The 17 year old half-orc thought to himself.
Kor Bloodfist(Doomed), Kor Bloodfist(Alpha)
Southern Barrens
The alpha time line Kor listened to the Fel-sworn, an expression of distrust on his face. "So let me get this straight; a psycho undead elf went nuts and ate the world, so you came here to try to take advantage of that, and you want me to be your apprentice?" He asked.
The Fel-sworn nodded. "
Exactly.
" He replied.

Faithbender Praey
Silvermoon City
Praey grinned, seeing a familiar figure in the distance. It was not the elf she recognized, but the serpent wrapped around his shoulders and the little phoenix flitting nearby. She picked up the pace and finally popped up beside him, seeing him pick up an herb.
"Nah, yah dun' wan' dat stuff, it be soo weak compared tah mine," Praey grinned, drumming her fingers on the table.
Ashiena & Daenak Liontusk
Darkshore
Ashiena exhaled deeply and then let her arrow fly.
It struck the target true, hitting the deer in the leg. Before the deer could even react, another arrow was embedded in it's chest and Ashiena was on top of the creature, murmuring thanks as she swiftly ended it's suffering.
"Good work," Daenak said, patting his sister on the shoulder. "But you know dat."
Ashiena rolled her eyes and smiled, beginning to gut the deer. Mali and Baac waited by, the black brother impatient for scraps and the white brother impartial.
Av’ka Treeshift
Felwood
The voices were picking up as Av'ka approached them. She snuck quietly, peering through the bushes at the two figures talking.
Tza’tali Treehugger & Yo’ou Firemane
Northern Barrens
Yo'ou had finally ended his tickle assault and the two ate their lunch, Tza'tali snuggled in the mages lap. "You better not get crumbs in my hair," Tza'tali muttered playfully, gazing up at him lovingly.
"Nah woman, you know I wouldn't waist my crumbs like that," Yo'ou chuckled, squeezing the smaller trolls shoulder with his free hand.
Azi Stormwing
Darnassus
Azi wiped her still-runny nose again as she walked towards the Bear Tree, seeing it in distance now. "Ka'va! Tahni! To'ka! Ja'ak!" she called, her voice breaking. Rain began to fall, but Azi barely noticed. Steve continued to waddle beside her, protective of his mistress and unsure of what was going on.
Tahni Treewing & Ja’ak Treehugger
Southern Barrens
Tahni finished up her lunch and stood up, stretching her legs and surveying the area. She could hear voices in the distance, very faintly. She peered in the direction but saw nothing. The druid shook her head - she must have been hearing things.
Ja'ak looked up at his sister, holding back his own tears. He had to stay strong for her. If he thought about Sian, or Selias... Or Ma... or Da...
He snuffed his nose again and shook his own head. He couldn't. He just couldn't. Not until he could join them.
Teniki Windwalker & Nat of the Beat
Tirisfal Glades
Nat spun around, hearing a small voice. A girl was there, only a few feet away. "Hello," Nat responded, her voice small as she approached her. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She was so dirty, and the tome she carried so big. Nat wondered where she came from.

Skreeran
Character: Gurka
Location: Gadgetzan
"Listen, you really don't want to start a fight with me," Gurka grunted at the druid. "I'm just gonna talk to her," she finished, turning back to the thief. "Listen to me. Being a bad pickpocket here will get you killed, fast. Get better at it or find something less dangerous to do. As it stands, I'm probably gonna have to pay off your debt so Steamweedle doesn't break your kneecaps."
Character: Skreel
Location: Undercity
"Then perhaps we can speak with her," Skreel nodded, making for the door. He was careful to keep watch for anything unexpected; just because Amanda's lackies had
said
they were leaving didn't mean they were telling the truth.
Character: Dag'rema
Location: Orgrimmar
Dag'rema was walking for the flight master, a bit frusterated that she had to walk, but she dared not summon her Dreadsteed here, and wolves did not suit her. She had nearly reached the elevator when she smelled the stench of Fel, out in the open.
She paused and made her way towards it. Apparently it was coming from an elf and her cat. How curious.
Character: Kitanga
Location: Northern Barrens
Kitanga was riding south along the Gold Road, atop her ruddy Dire Wolf, Bloodfire. It was nice to be back from Pandaria. The sourthern continent was beautiful, without a doubt, but she couldn't help but feel guilty for her presence. Finally, her stream of thought was broken as she spotted two trolls beneath a tree.

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai
Location:
Krasarang Wilds
The clang of steel on steel drew the young man in dull grey robes from his work. Pushing his multi lensed goggles up to the edge of the snow white hair atop his head, he rose from where he had been studying the etchings on the ruins. He was rather thin and lean, and his clothes hing off his frame loosely.
"Eh? You hear that?" the mage asked his companion.
His companion cut a tall and imposing figure. A death knight, he was easily equal size to the average tauren, though his body suggested he was human in species. He showed no skin, ebon armour with bone white trim covering his entire body. The armour itself was carved in facsimile to a human skeleton, and as such had a more rounded than sharp look. A collosal rune blade peeked over his back warningly.
The glowing blue eyes from within the sockets of the helm were blank and cold as he nodded in answer to the mage.
Varyn peered about, trying to get a fix on the sounds location.

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai
Location:
Krasarang Wilds
"I believe it came from around here..." Varyn mused, moving around the corner of the ancient building. A large door rose before him which led deeper into the ruins. He glanced back at the death knight, who merely nodded and drew his massive blade in readiness. Varyn nodded and began to creep down the tunnel.

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai
Location:
Krasarang Wilds
The sounds of battle and frustration reached the two long before the light of the chamber did. Still, Varyn did not rush in when he entered the room.
"Oh!" he cried when spotting the mogu taking on the tauren. His hands lit up with arcane energy, as generally speaking when two such races fought, only one was likely the 'good' guy. That in mind, he flung the arcane blast at the mogu the moment he had a clear shot.

"P-pardon us," Varyn stuttered in surprise. "I'm Varyn Brighthammer. And, ah, this is Mordecai," he said, pointing to the death knight. "We were just investigating the ruins when we herd the row from here, and decided it best to investigate."
