Vashadya Duskwind
Feralas
Vashadya shifted with unease, finding it harder to convince herself she had imagined it a second time. "We shall bring you back up to date when you return," the priestess smiled, though there was a hint of strain in her expression.

"If you're worried about your sister, you needn't be," Gurka stated, looking Kitanga in the eyes. "As long as she abides by the terms of our agreement, her life is safe. I can promise you that."
Kitanga took a deep breath and looked at her half-sister, eyes full of pain. Dag'rema glared back from the shadows of her cowl, but said nothing. With that, whatever Kitanga had meant to say evaporated again and she exhaled exhaustedly.
"Well, no need to be saying our goodbyes now," she stated finally. "We've still got lots of daylight ahead of us."

Feralas
The spectre's sudden appearance startled Vashadya, in spite of the prior foreshadowing, throwing her off balance. The priestess reeled, fumbling for her staff.

Dag'rema choked helplessly and clawed impotently at the ethereal paws pinning her to the wall.
"Fel!" Gurka snapped, pulling her fistblades off her belt and charging the spectre. "Nightbane! Stop!" she shouted.
Kitanga was stunned for a moment, but quickly regained her composure and pulled her axes from her belt and joined Gurka to try and wrench her off the warlock.

After the dust settled, Gurka simply stood and watched the spirit, not sure what to do.
Dag'rema meanwhile slammed into one of the walls before it collapsed on top of her and she lay still. Kitanga coughed and looked around for the children.

"Dammit!" Gurka growled, glaring at the team of halfling operatives. "You can't kill her! Get the fel out, you're just gonna piss her off!"

The night elf's eyes flitted between the two apparitions. Gurka was right she decided. "You have to leave us!" the priestess seconded, with a hint of desperation, over the sound of the gunfire, already weaving strands of light magic together into a spell.

"Nightbane, stop!" Gurka yelled helplessly as she leapt at the more violent apparition and peppered it with jabs from her fistblades.
Kitanga stood for a moment, watching the fight and trying to decide what to do, before finally falling on the first half of Nightbane with her axes.

A wave of golden light swept through the ranks of the gnomes and goblins, leaving them unharmed, but searing the horde of lesser spirits, the night elf attempting to ward the apparitions off.

Gurka slammed into a pile of rubble and groaned as she struggled back to her feet against the rising tide of lesser spirits. Kitanga managed to fight off the spirits around her and attacked Nightbane's violent half again.

"Run!" the night elf shouted at the goblins and gnomes, weaving the wave into separate portions and launching them at the individual spirits nearest the short humanoids, trying to sweep the tide of spirits back.
