Character: Kitanga
Location: Feralas
Kitanga shook her head sadly. "I just feel so useless," she mumbled, following after the worg.
Character: Snowmane
Location: Dragonblight
Snowmane's ear perked up slgihtly at the mention of beverages, but she dutifully pushed the thought from her mind in an effort to cut to the chase.
"I have no doubt you know why we are here," she stated, looking the man in his tired eyes. "Can you help us or not?"

Aldos looked down as he noticed the boy he had saved begin to move. "Brother?" He mumbled seeing Aldos threw cracked eyes. "No. I'm not your brother." Aldos said setting the boy down. "Where is my mother? Where's my brother and sister." The boy asked shaking his head as he sat up and began to look around. At first the boy looked confused but that quickly changed. "No!" He shouted scrambling to his feet and tried to run off only for Aldos to grab him. "You can't run off. Let the others keep looking." He said. "But I have to find them." The boy said wiggling out of Aldos' grip and running into the town with Aldos chasing after him.

"Are you okay?"
Vashadya asked the little girl, in case being able to communicate with and reassure her was not too much to hope for, trying her hand at Orcish once again. It was far from perfect, but it had certainly improved over time, with practice.

Turning his head to the worgen the man nodded. "Yes. I knew you would come here as well as your purpose in doing so. As I knew you would refuse the beverages. It is why I also did not offer the sandwiches, which I had cut up into even smaller sandwiches. They would be quite delicious. You would not have eaten them however under any foreseen circumstances." Pausing, he turned towards the door leading deeper into the chamber. "Follow me please."
Varyn jumped at the sudden movement. He and Mordecai quickly crossed the floor to follow after the man.

Kitanga looked to Vashadya, and then to the girl, and then went to kneel beside the priestess. "
Everything's going to be alright,
" she promised. "
You're safe now.
"
Character: Snowmane
Location: Dragonblight
Snowmane followed after the man, still quite suspicious. He could very well be leading her into a trap, but she had no where else to go. Besides, if she wasn't going to follow him, he wouldn't have asked. Of course, he could very well know that's what she would think, and ask anyway so that she'd feel safer about the proposition.
She shook her head, trying to focus on the here and now. Breathing heavily, she reached into her robe and found her now full flask, unscrewing the top and taking a long drink. She was fully capable of taking on anything they could throw at her, were this a trap, she told herself. She had a working knowledge of chronomancy, and was a master teleporter. She just had to keep those spells safely on the edge of her mind, ready to cast, and she'd be safe.
So long as they hadn't placed wards. She'd have to keep alert for wards in the area. Stepping into one was a death sentence. She knew she could--probably--dispel anything she came across--these were bronze dragons, after all, not blues--but only from the outside. If she missed one and found herself trapped inside, she'd be as helpless as she was back with Kalistra.
She shivered slightly and unconsciously ran her thumb over the declawed nubs of the fingertips on her right hand.

Sanctum beneath the Sands
The bronze led them down a whole replete with a most curious decor. Structures from all ages formed the walls, intruding on the narrow passage between them as though their ages were in demand of attention. Graceful night elven homes sat alongside crude troll monuments made of massive blocks, which in turn loomed over a human inn made of wood, which crouched beneath the bisected bow of a ship, and so on and so on. As they walked the timeless dragon talked in the same droning monotone.
"Your presence here is not unexpected. Even pradoxes are not immune to the guiding hand of fate, you will find. They only have more wiggle room. I have no quarrel with ParCon either. Their work is necessary to the survival of our timeline, and I would rather not impede them. They have nothing but my respect.
"Paradoxes by their very natures break a fundamental law. That of cause and effect. Naturally, such laws balance themselves, and ParCon is merely the agent causing that reaction. This function of theirs is necessary. However, what few of them understand is that breaking a law requires only an immediate intention. Retaining a reality on the other hand requires some laws to be suspended. There are few at ParCon aware of this, fewer still willing to accept it. But, as is common with necessity, though we don't speak of it, we must exist with it.
"It is for necessity that I assist you. Though my quarrelsome relatives may have requested a favour of me, I am not motivated in instances of paradox to lend my powers. In fact, Miss Bloodhowl, you still have a role to play in this timeline, an official one. It is for that reason I did not eat you the moment you came inside. You are worth the trouble of this only because your task is not yet fulfilled. That is all.
Varyn nearly ran into the dragon as he abruptly stopped and turned around. "By the way." The man fished from a pocket a letter he promptly handed to Varyn. "A gnome left this for you."
The mage stared at the letter with a mixture of astonishment and puzzlement. "Ah...thank you?"
"Do not mention it." Resuming his trek the dragon grabbed the door to a Stormwind style home and opened it. Inside was a large room apparently formed of three rooms which had been sliced in half and the different halves then joined. It was an odd assemblage of a wooden walled human study with several heavy bookcases and couches on one corner, upon the other a stone and metal building normally associated with iron dwarves complete with glowing blue runes running along the walls, heavy metal worktables and pillars made of frostbitten stone, and upon the third a room made of steel with a group of blinking lights, and several long piping running down their length into the floor and wall.
Entering the room, the dragon led them to an elaborate bronze frame made to resemble a dragon straining to hold something up. Upon the top of this pillar was cradled a plain stone sundial with two handles projected from the side. In the center of this disc sat a copper gnomon. Despite the light coming from several lamps, this triangle cast no shadow.
Stopping beside it the dragon cast a calm, level look at the worgen, and gestured to the sundial. "Miss Bloodhowl. If you would please grasp the handles."

Location: Feralas
"Well then I don't know what else to do," Kitanga answered. "We cannot take them with us to confront Nightbane."
Character: Snowmane
Location: Dragonblight
Snowmane looked at the man for a moment, still thoroughly suspicious. He'd said she had a part to play, and that had been why he hadn't killed her. Simple game theory dictated that then she had to try and maintain the status quo. So long as she was vulnerable here, it would be wisest to avoid fulfulling whatever part the dragon meant, lest she be killed immediately afterward.
After all, while that part might have had some sort of permanence in this timeline, it could also very well be something small and insignificant. For all she knew, it might be something here in this very room. Time keepers were strange like that, or so she had read. Probing with her mind at the stretched and warped fabric of reality around them, she felt for nearest ley lines to their indeterminate location and for anything that might be blocking their access.
"What kind of part am I to play?" she asked, hesitating to grasp the handles built onto the sundial. She hardly expected the ancient dragon to tell her the full truth; in fact, she fully expected a non-answer involving continuity or the limitations of mortal perspective, but the more information she could have before submitting herself to the mercy of this Copper King, the better she would feel.

Arms crossed behind his back, the dragon stared steadily at the worgen. "It is of no consequence. You have already fulfilled it in part. However, should ParCon kill or capture you, they will not only erase what actions you would have influenced in the future, but the past as well." Varyn shifted uneasily, feeling the dragon's glittering eyes on the two humans. "Therefore you will be made a part of this timeline, so that your activity's continue to exist.
"Your role is not one for you to concern yourself with," the dragon droned. "It will be accomplished regardless of your inclinations. It is merely fated."
Wind whipping his coat about his legs, Damocles felt a sudden surge of inspiration. Reaching into his pocket he produced his pocket watch and held it before him. Silence. The hands did not move, the gears did not tick. Vaudeville and 67 regarded what could generously be called their employer as Damocles slowly walked by the mountain face, trailing a gloved hand along the unyielding stone.
Gasps resounded as Damocles' hand was thrown back by a sudden spark of temporal magic. The ParCon agent slowly flexed his fingers, staring at the blank stone which hid more than one might suppose.
"They're went through here," Damocles said, his level voice carried by the icy winds. "And probability weighs heavily that they will be doing so again." A hand dove into his pocket and fished out a pair of small metal buttons. "Let us hedge our bets." He then began to feel about the other side of the mountain for the opposing edge of the doorway.

Snowmane looked at the man, and then at the sundial. Taking a deep breath, she stepped over and grasped the handles, hoping that this would all work out. There wasn't much else she could do, after all.
Malice looked at the 'stone' face of the wall. At any moment, her prey could come through, and that made her excited. "Do you plan to use your orange time-stop thing?" she asked Damocles, grinning. "I'm sick of having to worry about collateral damage."

The priestess rubbed her forehead, honestly unsure of what to do other than comfort the children. They needed someplace for them to stay safe whilst they dealt with Nightbane, but where? Perhaps Aldos could portal them to sanctuary, she reasoned, but that too would require a trustworthy caretaker, not to mention a fair amount of the blood elf's energy on what was potentially the eve of another confrontation with Nightbane...
