Tristram Mahone
Goldshire
Tristram shrugged, not really understanding their reluctance but not wanting to push. "Okay, I'll go then," he smiled. "Tristram Mahone, twenty four. I own a small farm, and, until today, worked as a miner. Vivica, the woman we're meeting, saved my life. Now I am here. I like a cold beer and long walks. Tah dah!" He grinned, putting his hands in the air and wiggling his fingers with a laugh.

"Alright," Tiziana said, "I could do that. Tiz Calvin, you don't ask about a girl's age, not about her weight either, I'm in training to become a paladin but now I'm on a vacation. I like, uuh, good food? And company. And fencing! Hah!"
She made a series of intricate moves with her hand with matching footwork, indicating what she meant.
Titus remained silent, waiting for his cue - if it came. If not, it really didn't matter. He could do the introductions later, when the two others had joined. Or never.

"Irene?" Elsa repeated, in a questioning tone, "who's Irene?"

Peter's face fell, his shoudlers soon following suite. "She...was a friend. Out for revenge. But, couldn't find help, fast enough. I suppose. Partnered with the warlocks. Says they'll help her." The young priest took a slow breath. Likely he had not expected his confession to be to a pickpocket who he had just saved, but he did so all the same. His tone slow and grief laden.
"She...Tried to talk her out of it. I did, you see. But! She...disagreed. Told me to leave. I...didn't have anything to offer...so...did..." he admitted.

So she was a paladin, like his brother. Tristram smiled, laughing at her exaggerated movements. "Fencing eh? That's pretty neat. What about you mate?" he asked, leaning to better see Titus.

"Mage, and a damn talented one," Tiziana replied after having laughed at her own silliness. "We've been friends like, forever. Since I was six or something."
"Seven," Titus corrected, seeing his chance to interrupt. He looked at Tristram and returned a grin almost involuntarily. This man had an infectious smile, he thought. "She's exaggerating. I like to build things," he confessed. "Mechanics."

"Build stuff?" Tristram questioned, reaching up and running a hand through his ash blonde hair. "You'll get along with Vivica then, I think she's an engineer or something. Wears goggles," he chuckled, holding his hands up to his eyes to mimic goggles, blinking over at the two before breaking into a laugh.
"I could never do that stuff, I'm way to dim," Tristram added with a small smile.

"In the Slaughtered Lamb. Suppose. Don't know, actually. May have moved. All happened...last night?" he said, as if not quite believing it had all happened but the previous day.

"Well, ah, no. Of course not. Wouldn't! Couldn't! But...lost, a bit. In how to do that. Not held against her will, you understand. Can't swing in, save the day. Not exactly built for that, as well."

Elsa went silent for a few moments, deciding it would be rather tactless to suggest Peter knock some sense into Irene, though the thought was an amusing one. "I'm not sure what you ought to do either - did she say why she went to warlocks, of all people, to get help?" she asked instead.

"She said the mages or the guard couldn't help. So, suppose, figured they could. She just said they could tell her where he was. But...price for that. Always a price. One I didn't want her to try and pay," he said sadly.

The guard with the shield was knocked to the floor with a clang of armour. Sadly, the chain failed to reach it's target, intercepted by the second guards sword and wrapping about it.
The warden struck by the helm had by now recovered. Looking about, he spotted the scene of battle. And not too far away, where his sword ended up.
"Come 'nd get it," Max said from his chair, brandishing the blade threateningly.

"So, is she just going to get their help... Or is she actually going to learn to be a warlock?"

Peter was swallowed with thoughtful silence for a moment.
"No..." he evntually said. "At least, don't think so. Seemed to be more desperate. Just wanted to find him. Kill him. So, doubt it. But, maybe, that could be their exchange? Or just her soul. Or willing sacrifice. But! None desirable. No, no. So, think just their help. But, can't let her. Have to do...
something
," he stressed.

"A mage," Peter replied. "He destroyed her town, so she says. Someone who knew about it attacked her in town. Was arrested, thrown in prison. We-.," Peter paused, his face losing some colour. "Interrogated. Him. Er...tried, to," he said. "Learned little. Save, the mage was powerful. Claimed! As well, he couldn't be stopped. Don't know about that, though," the priest admitted.

Peter was stunned into temporary mutism. After a moment managing a stuttered "W-we? N-not to say wouldn't like your help. No, no. Just...surprised! Yes, surprised. Somewhat. A fair amount, must admit. Wasn't, ah. Expecting. Are grateful, you understand. Very! But, same time, startled. Befuddled. But...pleased! Very pleased, for any assistance. Hmm, yes. Yes," Peter exclaimed, jumping to his feet.
