Elsa Wolftongue
Darkshire, Duskwood
"Keep your hands to yourself, warlock," Elsa warned, taking the reins, not liking the way Wilhelm kept touching Peter...

Peter gave Elsa a grateful smile, all his tired face could afford before he slung himself awkwardly into the saddle.

The illusionist shrugged noncommittally. "I'll give it a shot, but if you do end up dead hold off on yer haunting until I can at least go back for your corpse. Is there like...a week's grace period?"

"If he shrivels at my touch, what will he do once Razzie starts flinging his equivalent of fireballs as default attack into him?" Wilhelm questioned rather callously.
Leaving his words hanging in the air and not really caring for an answer from either of the two youths, the warlock gently dug his knees into his steed's sides and set off at a leisurely canter.

Peter clung white knuckled to the horn of his saddle, reins clutched in his hands as he nudged the horse with his heels (so gently that it took several times before said steed realized it was even being spurred on). The palomino nickered lazily and rolled into motion, seemingly content with following the horse before it and its rider more than content to let it do so.

The warlock rode in silence, bar an occasional humming under his nose. In all, he was behaving more as if he were out on a pleasant morning stroll and less like someone out to confront a malicious, dangerous apostate mage.
"Well. This is not what I was expecting. We're lucky this...
place
appears on the map at all," Wilhelm muttered in dry amusement as the trio emerged from the forest and rode onto a clearing that was too large by far for the pitiful sight of three lodges and a well.

"My..." Peter gaped at the ravaged scene before him. Tears in the wood, pots pans and all sorts of other household goods strewn across the grass, which had been liberally trampled. It was clear even from the distance they were at something had happened there, and by the looks of it little good.

"You better," Max warned darkly. "If I'm sitting on the john, and all of a sudden some ghostly troll pops in through the door like the absolute
worst

ever
, I'll be mighty pissed. Though I suppose that would be the place to get a surprise like that..." Maximilian trailed off in growing discomfort.

Elsa Wolftongue
Darkshire, Duskwood
Elsa surveyed the ground ahead for hunting traps or otherwise, not about to let her mount get caught in one.

"What do you know, she has moved after all," Wilhelm muttered in dry amusement, taking out the map. "Would you two kindly take a closer look at this shambles and voice your opinions whilst I scry her location?"

Peter would honestly not, so pretended to not have heard.

Elsa Wolftongue

Elsa dismounted swiftly and tied her horse to a nearby tree, not particularily keen on being near the warlock while he used his magic.

"Well, what are you two waiting for? Are you not excited to scavenge through these shambles? That's practically archeology, or would be had this sad place been reduced to its current state a long time ago," Wilhelm egged his two companions on, all the while unfurling the map on his horse's map. The steed didn't seem to mind.

Peter hesitated a moment more before awkwardly dismounting. Mimicking Elsa's actions as best eh could, he followed the pickpocket like a confused puppy.

Charcacter: Kai Whiterock
Location: Duskwood
Kai had been drawn to the place from the vague voices he had heard and now stared as they dug around he rubble. That was stuff he could steal! Deciding to go to the two other houses, Kai used the shadows as cover as he slipped into the house, hopefully it would disguise him.

Darkshire, Duskwood
Elsa unslung her weapon and crept forward, paying close attention to the ground. The pickpocket shuddered involuntarily, the possibility of running into undead crossing her mind.

The gap entranced Max's attention. He slowly trailed his eyes back up to the troll. "Well. You'll certainly be in good practice for being a ghost. Tie a handkerchief around your head, rattle some chains, and heck you'll be set to scare the Winterveil spirit into the elderly."
