Kalina Brayton
Goldshire
Firing accurately while simultaneously being embraced by death was not an easy thing, as the bandit leader experienced. But escaping a bullet fired from point blank wasn't really the simplest thing either. The sound of a cracking skull and two shots relieved each other, and suddenly Kalina felt a burning pain unlike anything she ever experienced. Her arm hung limp by her side, pierced through the biceps, and warm blood flowed from a gash in her side.
Like from the bullets' momentum she spun around on her heels while screaming from the pain. She saw the two bandits attack her "saviours" and their leader going down, blood gushing from his head. Tears blurred her vision, but rage kept her on her feet. She lashed out violently with her still unscathed left arm, setting the knife-throwing bandit fully ablaze.
It felt good.
Oliver Timbry
Duskwood
"I... uuh... there's a way. Outside," was Oliver's only - and reluctant - response. He nervously adjusted his hat to make sure it was still attached, and waved his copy of the note a tiny amount as if to subtly remind them of the instructions given.

The knife-wielding thug screamed in agony, the flames devouring his flesh. Within moments all that was left of him was a charred skeleton and the lingering smell of burnt meat.
The last of the three men glanced from his burnt companion to his opponents and, realizing the odds had become unfavorable, started to back away.

Goldshire
Kalina quieted down and watched the man burn to a crisp, the reeking odour of burning flesh filling her nostrils. She looked hatefully to the remaining bandit. The seconds following felt like an eternity; the world passed by in slow motion.
She lit a small orb of fire in her working hand and flung it sloppily in his direction before not enough adrenaline remained to keep her going. The world went black and she collapsed on the street in a whimpering pile of bloody clothes.

"You won't like it," Oliver said for the second time in the short while since he met Peter and Elsa, but he complied and started his slow gait towards the exit where they had come from.

Vivica Black & Tristram Mahone
Elwynn Forest - Goldshire
Everything happened so fast.
The knife hurled in Tristram's direction, but the man was expecting some sort of retaliation and instinctively covered his face with his muscular arms. It was a good thing it was just a short bladed knife and not a more deadly weapon, as it stuck right in the back of Tristrams forearm.
The man grunted in pain, his adrenaline high right now. "Vivica!" he called, leaning in her direction, trying to see.
Vivica had tried to dive to avoid the blunderbuss shot, but really, what could she have done? She didn't think anyone was actually going to shoot! She was hit by one shot on her ribs and another grazed her, and instantly the human felt blood staining her white healers robes.
Tristram ripped the knife from his forearm and ran to the woman's side when she collapsed, after watching her burn a man to a crisp. "I got yah," he said softly, cradling her head in his arms and softly patting her cheek in an attempt to keep her conscious.
"Viv! Viv we need a healer!" Tristram called, looking up at the woman for the first time and seeing her soaked in blood as she fumbled for her gun. His mouth opened in shock and he stared at her as she stood.
The remaining thug was beginning to retreat, but Vivica aimed her pistol at him, looked him straight in the eyes, and fired.

Oliver shuffled up the long, dark stair and out of the shack and once again found himself in the orchard. He took a few steps out into the damp air and looked around, knowing only approximately what he was searching for.

Kalina felt something unclear, distant. She had no idea what it was, but somehow things felt a little better. Like she was going to be okay.

"Because that bastard took everything we own, that's why!" Brida responded, looking flustered.
A large crowd had started to form as the inn's other patrons arrived on the scene, muttering amongst themselves. Most were peasants or merchants, though there were a few off-duty guards in their midst.
The thug stumbled and it was fortunate he did so, for both the fireball and the bullet whizzed overhead. Once he had scrambled back to his feet he fired the second barrel of his blunderbuss, well out of lethal range but still close enough to wound, before turning and making a mad dash for the woods behind the inn.
"Uhh Nimrod?" Gregg called, a little uncertainly. "Yeah?" the dwarf grunted, from outside the room, pinning down the hooded man while he spoke. "We've got a problem... A big problem..." the gnome replied, rushing through the door and slamming it shut behind himself. There was a low growl from the other side...

Vivica Black & Tristram Mahone
Elwynn Forest - Goldshire
Vivica was ready for it this time, able to duck out of the way right after she fired. She spun the barrel of her pistol and took one final shot at the thug before running (or trying to, with the wound in her side) ti Tristram's side.
"Oh Vivica," Tristram said, wrapping one strong arm around her as best he could with the other woman still in his lap. "$%^& girl, look at you, #$%^," he murmured, seeing the blossoming red on her robes.
"Don't worry about it, I'll-I'll be okay," Vivica said quietly, her vision already going in and out of grey. "She needs a healer. Medic! Medic!" Vivica called, pausing to cough.
"Sit down Viv, damnit, you're gunna hurt yourself..." Tristram said, pulling her close to him. Vivica didn't resist, leaning her head into his shoulder weakly. She reached over, pressing her palm into the woman's arm and sending what little energy she had left into the wound.
"I got you lady, just hang on," Vivica said quietly, struggling to stay conscious as she healed the other woman.

Peter nodded. "I see..." He didn't, though. The priest cast his eyes across the ground in perplexity, wondering why such an old farmhouse would have a vent. Then he recalled that downstairs hadn't quite been in the standard construction of a residence either, and settled for wandering a short distance around, pushing at the grass in some futile hope he'd find something relevant.

Nimrod Lightforge, Gregg
Elwynn Forest
Unfortunately there were no medics in the crowd, nevertheless several townsfolk came to the group's aid as soon as the last of Kailina's assailants disappeared out of sight. A balding man with a thin-grey mustache and beard bound the young mage's wounds with a length of cloth, while an apprentice paladin added what little energy he could muster to Vivica's spell.
Whatever Brida was about to say fell short on her lips; a seething mass of flesh and bone tore violently through the young woman, leaving nothing but a large bloodstain where she had sat.
The monstrosity skidded to a halt, surprisingly mobile for only having three legs, and growled, the sound somehow echoing before it had even left the creature's maw. Its milky-white eyes now regarded Lyshallis with the same animalistic hunger, the blood vessels that bound the disembodied organs together pulsed sickeningly.

"Elune damn it, Nimrond, Gregg i need your immediate assistance!" Yelled Lyshalis as she tossed a throwing knife from her boot against the horrible monster made from flesh and bone and ran towards the table, in intent of fliping it over for defence.

Elwynn Forest
Nimrod and Gregg burst through the door, the paladin still carrying the terrified hooded man even while he swung his intimidating mace about in the other hand. Gregg held a small crossbow in both hands and lined up a shot, but the monster had no intention of hanging around.
The second Lyshallis' dagger struck the beast it uttered a single, high-pitched shriek and flung itself through the window, leaving behind a pool of septic, green blood.
