"
Hopefully
," Elsa echoed, sounding far from convinced. "Think you can manage a gryphon on your own?" the pickpocket asked Tabula, managing to fight back the urge to either be sarcastic or insulting. She doubted the amnesiac would be able to.

"You know whatever did this is probably getting annoyed at the racket its breakfast is making," Gregg commented, 'breakfast' referring to the four of them, looking around.
Nimrod waved his mace around dramatically, "show yourself giant bad... bear... spider... thing," he challenged, even raising an eyebrow slightly at what he had just set.
Slowly and silently the creature descended, one if its mandibles brushing gently against the back of Kalina's neck.

"Oh not
you too
," Kalina said crossly and rolled her eyes in the darkness. "Waitwhat, how did you--"
She hadn't finished the sentence when she turned and saw the beast, and she wasn't going to either. Screaming seemed more appropriate; this she did. A short, surprised, sudden "aargh!" resounded in the darkness. With a stumbling step backwards she attempted retreating, forgetting the fact that Lyshalis was just behind her.

The rogue spoting the spider when Kalina screamed, was stuned by the size of the spider hanging down from the dark rocky roof of the cave, when the human made her step backward and bumping in to her, the Kaldorei was disrupted from the stun and looked down to the head now found at her chest.
"Looks like we found the mother... bandu thoribas!."

"Righteous furyyyy," Nimrod shouted, leaping into the air and crushing the spiders skull in one blow. Or at least that was what he imagined himself doing - no sooner had the words left his mouth then a leg as thick as a tree swatted him aside.
Gregg sighed and strummed a few chords on his lute, managing to distract the giant spider - although upon closer inspection he was not entirely sure it was a proper spider - which then proceeded to charge towards him, ignoring the rest of the group.

Kalina Brayton
Elwynn Forest
Kalina was not slow to scramble to her feet - hugging a night elf lady sure was pleasant, but this was not the time. This she passed on to Lyshalis in an undertone.
She passed the torch to her left hand, holding out the right one to her side and throwing it open. In a little flash an orb of sputtering fire appeared, the size of a small apple. She lobbed it at the spider, missing it by several feet due to it's rapid movement. Nontheless, the sphere burst in a spurt of seemingly liquid flames, splashing in every direction and sticking to one of the spider's massive limbs.

"Yessss." Max said, flexing his finger before him wantonly. "So much...fun!"
As they rounded the lake, the dim outline of Sierra became visible on the horizon.

"Then three griffons," Peter instructed the man. The flightmaster snorted, but turned to fetch the beasts. Recovering the trio of lionian chimeras, he brought them back to the soon to be riders.

"
Good,
" Elsa muttered, glad they would not have to babysit Tabula on his flight. The pickpocket mounted her gryphon and spurred it into the air without another word.

The flightmaster tilted his head back, watching the griffon take flight. He looked down to Peter.
"Yer payin' for that."
Peter sighed and dug through his coin purse, shelling out the money for the three griffons.

"Good, good," Peter replied, mounting his own steed. He gripped the reigns, and gave the beast a slight kick in the ribs. With a squawk the creature beat it's wings, sending dust billowing out in all directions. With a thrust of it's legs it was in the air, spiraling upward before aiming itself toward the north east and the city lying thereupon.

Max glanced skyward as the screech of a griffon met his ears. He squinted as one of the golden beasts, bearing a rider passed before the sun and into the distance.
"Hmph," he grunted dismissively. Turning back he continued towards the distant town, already growing in size before them.

Gregg dodged out of the way, the notes he played on his lute now causing the spider's movements to become sluggish. The giant arachnid screeched as the flames engulfed its leg, spinning around suddenly and making a lunge for Kalina
Nimrod dragged himself up onto a small ledge nearby, panting, though it remained to be seen whether that was because of sheer adrenaline or the fact he was tackling the daunting prospect of thinking. He had a plan... A plan to stop the bad guys.

Kalina violently threw herself out of the spider's way, dropping another flaming orb before she had the chance to throw it. It crashed to the cavern floor in the spider's path, less than a fathom from Lyshalis' position.

The spider reared up at the appearance of new flames, but seemed to have enough common sense to stamp them out. The arachnid fired sticky webs at the two women, before rolling about in an attempt to extinguish its burning leg.

Peter clung to his griffons reigns as the beast soared through the sky. Yet, at eveyr turn through the mostly empty heavens, Elsa's bird was before him. Guiding him like a golden beacon towards Stormwind. Peter blinked, shaking the image form his head. But he couldn't help but smile softly, glad he had the young pick pocket at his side regardless.

"It is," Max replied. He stepped onto the first traces of purple grass. The aberrant foliage cracking beneath his shoes, lending a strange sort of crinkling sond. As he walked, he snatched up one of the caps -- a Prussian blue tricorne -- which had been lying on the ground. He plopped it onto his head, adjusting the brim with a grin.
"Snazzy."

"Deal with it," Max retorted. He led them about one of the houses, coming upon an odd scene.
Razzamataz, his long pointed beard swaying int he breeze, was in the process of examining a single nondescript home. The wizard held forth his hands, squaring them so that the whole building was betwixt his hands. Then, tongue thrust slightly past the lips in concentration, he began to move his hands as if adjusting a painting.
With a tearing of earth the whole house began to tilt, corresponding with the wizards motions until the whole building was on its side; flecks of dirt falling from the uprooted ground which had come with it. The spellcaster, unsatisfied, continued to tilt it until the whole building was now upside down.
"Master!" Maximilian called, approaching the wizard. "I've brought company."
"Hmm? What's this now?" Razzamataz looked over his shoulder to the group with mild interest.

Elsa rolled her eyes at what she deemed to be Tabula's childish behavior and did her best to ignore it. The pickpocket pulled hard on the gryphon's reigns as it neared the roost, causing the creature to rapidly decelerate, before slowly fluttering to the ground. With that done she dismounted and waited patiently for the others to land, sizing up several passers-by both in terms of strength and potential purse yield.
