Kiran Hartford, Koran Lighthammer
Isle of Dread, Feralas
"Thanks." Kiran said, his head bobbing as he tried hard to keep himself awake, not wanting to pass out when the others could still need him. The half-elf lifted one of his hands and pressed down on both the coat and Vrell's hand on his side.
"HA!" Koran crowed as the ship started up and he set the speed to top and reversed the vessel away from the docks. He set the wheel, then ran out onto the deck and took aim at the dock, swiping his hands forward and blowing it apart. "Hazel, after you help Vrell, I've got some things to show you." He told the Bronze, then ran back to the bridge and made for open water and Feathermoon.

"That feels weird." Kiran said, sounding a little dazed as he looked after Hazel. "Thanks." He called to the Bronze then looked at Vrell. "And thank you too; you sacrificed your cool jacket for my wound." He said to her, letting his head fall back to rest on the deck.
Koran looked up as Hazel entered the bridge. He checked to make sure the ship was still on course, then pulled out his satchel and offered it to her. "We found a room that had only a desk and a chair in it; inside the desk was a lot of paper work. All of the chicken scratch looks like Darnassian, so no idea if this stuff is important or not, but figured you and the Sentinels could use it." He told her.

"Well we were proud to do it." Koran said, looking away from Hazel. "It hasn't been easy on the pair of us last few years since the Dragons went off to do their own thing." He shrugged. "Kiran may not be my real brother, but I love that lad with all me heart and will lay down my life for him if it comes to that...and he'll do the same for me in an instant." He chuckled. "And I'm sure somewhere in that mess of information it'll tell us where the trio vanished to."
"I guess I am a one of a kind ain't I?" Kiran asked, trying to act cocky. "But I'll buy you that new jacket alright?" He said, staring up at the sky. "Vrell...what was your youth like?" He asked suddenly.

Richard

Richard watched her enter. Giving a quick look around, he closed the door with the click of a lock.
"Rrrright this way," he announced, leading her forward and down the hall, awash with the glow of electric lights. Doors flicked by ponderously, until they at last turned a corner, where they were abruptly confronted by the sight of two waiting men.
Both were dressed reminiscently of Richard, though that was where all similarities ended. The first was a tall and broad orc, who looked as though he were built with blocks, one large one for the body, two for his large arms which jutted from his side, and a fourth for his scarred green head, partially hidden by the upturned collar of his trenchcoat and bowler hat. His hands were lost amongst voluminous sleeves, and a large pair of heavy black boots peeked out from beneath his coat.
The second was far different from his companion. He was shorter, and where the orc was blocky he was lean. Lenses set in the sockets of a deep brown gas mask shot to Richard as he appeared. His race was impossible to determine, he could well be a troll or undead beneath the skinny black coat her wore and mask, for not an inch of skin showed. His hands were however the most arresting feature. Each digit was topped with the long, slightly curled silver of a blade, which hung listlessly from his sides like a butchers tools, glistening and ready to use.
Richard groaned when he spotted the pair. "Awww dammit!"

"Yes sir, that was what he said," Edmund reported into the phone. The low sigh of Dr. Prometheus Sr. sounded in answer.
"Aw damn...alright, thanks for telling me Edmund. Ffffffff...Alright, here's what I want you to do. Make the calls for those mercs, but make sure they're reliable. Keep them in sight, and don't let anything happen to them. You hear me Edmund? Nothing! Make sure to keep me updated you hear? I want a report everyday, rain or shine. I'm counting on you Edmund, don't let me down!"
"Of course, sir," Edmund replied crisply, hanging up the phone. The butler straightened his bowtie before picking up the phone again, proceeding to make the necessary calls to mercenary groups and recruiters. He had little doubt the news of such an expedition to plunder Ulduar would be well known shortly to any scientist, explorer or adventurous soul who might relish such a challenge or fortune.

Koran watched Hazel leave, then checked out the window on Kiran and saw him with Vrell. Nodding to himself, he went back to piloting the boat towards Feathermoon, keeping watch on the weather.
"Ah I see." Kiran said, still looking skyward. "Mine was interesting too...though, not for good reasons. Lost my family when I was young and was lucky enough to be taken in by Wyrmrest. The foster family I was with was a great one, but I never got that close to them." He smiled sadly. "But my mentor...he was the one I saw as my new father. Helped me master my abilities and taught me to be a great Dragon Sworn. I lost him shortly before the whole Hour Twilight thing played out...but at least he went out like a hero, keeping the taint of the chromatics from being released."

"Just one thing. I do not know what other items of power, if any, do they possess. Should you run into anything, feel free to claim it for yourselves - although I would advise to consult me or some other member of the Crusade first, just to check if the item in question is capable of stealing your soul.
The Skullhelm is another matter entirely. Its importance lies more in what it symbolizes, that is what draws the val'kyr to it. For all I know, it may not even be the strongest of what you find there, raw power-wise. What I know is that there is a protective enchantment on it. I implore you, miss Isilver, do not attempt to destroy it. You may not survive the attempt," Killian said, looking at her almost pleadingly.

After several minutes of pleasant, idle chit-chat, Walter was finished with his meal. Suddenly remembering something, he took out a small piece of dense paper with a number written on it.
"I believe it prudent to check, is this the phone number you can be contacted through, my friend?" he asked, showing January the card.

Finally, the worgen made up his mind. He stood tall on his hind legs and walked out of the woods, slowly and in a dignified manner, hands held in the open. He changed half-way through, turning into a tall, broad-shouldered human with long, black hair with several gray locks, dark, dry skin and deep-set green eyes. He was clean-shaven, and from the looks of him could be anywhere between late thirties and early fifties. He was wearing a garb of dark leather that betrayed his occupation to anyone who knew what to look for - a wandering druid.
"Hail," said Alexander Bowie.

"Yes, yes it is Thrag."
" 'bout bloomin' time you showed up. Oi! Carve'! Edmunds' back!" The masked man turned fully towards them and began a slow approach. "And 'oo's the bird?" the orc continued, looking at Naia. " 'ow you doin' then love? Thrag Grinder, though contrary to moi name, I ain't gots me an axe ta grind," he introduced, tipping his bowler hat clumsily with a hidden hand in an oddly polite gesture.

Kiran reached over and put his hand on Vrell's knee. "Sucks don't it?" He asked, smiling sadly. "Seems like the more adventurous we are, the more tragedy and sorrow there was in the past."
Koran whistled to himself, focused on the boat.

"Issat so? Good for ye. Do you plays them 'eavy metal stuff? Gotta love that. Five minute' in you feel like your head's gointa explode from the sheer sound of et. Right good music that is eh Carver?"
The one known as Carver silently sidled up beside the orc, though his glassy eyes remained trained on Richard, who merely laughed carelessly. "Okay," he admitted, throwing up his hands. "You caught me. But I was coming straight back, and, I might add, I did."
Carver continued to stare, still as a statue.
"If you must know I met her outside. Poor thing didn't know where she was supposed to go to enter the show. And she'd already paid and everything. And you know, that's just not right. So I brought her along. And if I had any other intentions than helping, then may the Light strike down...the ticket guy."
A distant crack and scream was briefly heard, Carver's head swivelling about to look at Naia.
