Silvia looked down at Kaius, giggling. She stood up and stretched; not putting her clothes back on quite yet.
Balah'Amin, Coldpelt
Stormwind City
Balah glanced through pages, knowing what she was looking for, but not how to find it.
He father had hated demonds, and she didn't want to cause mass destruction. So, in her training as a warlock, she had instead focused on curses.
However, she had recently begun to... smell something. Not like an actual scent, but like a presence; drawn to her spells.

Turin scooped Marcin into a rib-crushing bear hug, patting the other elf on the back with great enthusiasm - just as the young inventor's pager began to beep.
Character
: Kareithel Arroval
Location
: SMC
Having sent a message to his adopted son, the Blood Lord of Silvermoon put away his phone and massaged his temples. He was proud of Marcin - he could not be prouder of his own flesh and blood - but at the same time, the Champion of Quel'Thalas was experiencing a feeling he thought was long gone from his life.
Kareithel Arroval was afraid.
In a matter of minutes, his son became known worldwide, for making one of the largest scientific breakthroughs of the decade. His little son, a scientist, not a fighter. And now someone was bound to make a move. To claim the precious research for themselves, stepping on Marcin's throat if need be.
The Defender of the Sunwell would not suffer his son to be endangered. For years and years he had been selflessly working for the good of the land, giving away everything he had for the prosperity of his people. He deserved his son to be safe.
The Blood Lord reached for a small onyx bird statuette standing on his desk, sinking one of the rubies that made up its eyes into it. Less than a minute later, a lone elf wrapped in dark gray and darker green from head to heel took a knee in front of him.
"Dispatch a cadre of yours to watch over one Marcin Sunhawk and CEISU. Report immediately if something suspicious is noticed."
"Shall we have the ward aware of our presence, master?" the kneeling elf murmured, his voice remarkably... unremarkable, almost impossible to memorize.
"Negative. Stay in the shadows. Should the need arise to act, do as the First Principle dictates. Do not fail me."
His enforcer bowed his head lower, then all but sunk into shadows, leaving no trace of his presence.

Turin took a step back, eying the Sunhawk siblings with a grin.
Among other - if any - messages on Marcin's phone was the one from his adoptive father, stating, "
You've done very well, and I couldn't be prouder of you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person. Don't let the praise go into your head, though!

Loki, Karen
Thorium Point
As soon as the copter landed outside the dwarven town Karen jumped out and took a deep breath. "It wasn't that bad." Loki said climbing out.
"You hit a bird." She replied.
"That bird hit me." He corrected. "Now who do we talk to?" He asked heading for the town.
"ummm." She said shuffling threw her papers. "An Overseer Oilfist and some other representatives from the city." She said as she walked towards the town.
Calin
Goldshire
Calin searched around the house till she found the note laying on the counter. "They're all gone?" She muttered looking up and around. "That means I'm in charge." She said breaking out in a smile. "Firecracker! Vanlin! We got work to do." She shouted.

Character:
Johann Augustus
Location:
Stratholme
Morning found Johann packing up his bedroll and donning his robe, brushing any dust or dirt that may have accumulated upon it. With the voidwalker holding up a small mirror, he dealt with his hair, coiling it back and into it's sleek, wick'd end once more. Once satisfied and his morning toiletries complete, he returned his materials to the pack and hefted it securely. As an afterthought, he turned to the demon, and with a wave of a hand temporarily dismissed it, a skill all young warlock's learned to avoid their demons being noticed, but kept them ready to be called at a moments notice instead of having to summon them anew.
Johann took one last look around the clearing, assuring himself he had taken everything he needed. Though a small patch of ground and some kindling remained from last night's fire, that aside there was no evidence he had ever been there. The low pain of growing hunger had the warlock grimace slightly, but he ignored it. He would have to find something on the way.
"Right, let's get underway. To the lake! Fortune beckons!" he called, pushing his way through the bushes and back to the road. Hefting his pack, he looked about, and began to stroll eastward, the isle of Caer Darrow a distant dot on the dawning horizon.

"Alrighty, I'll just go grab my friend and we'll be on our way," Turin nodded, then reached into his coat for the phone.
"Think you can handle climbing a rope-ladder?" he asked with a mischievous grin, dialing a number and pressing the phone against his ear.

Character: ?
Location: Silvermoon City
From the side of the stage, nearly hidden by the curtains and shadows, a man waited, slowly rolling a silver piece between his knuckles. Metal seemed to devour half his sallow face, one eye a gleaming green lens while thin black hair streaked beneath a black peaked cap hat upon his head. He was dressed in a black suit and bow tie, which hung off his slender body, his other hand hanging idly at his side.
His eye seemed to spark as the elven professor who had demonstrated the machine he had seen earlier rushed past. With a snap he rolled the silver piece back into his sleeve and slowly moved to intercept him.
"Doctor Sunhawk, was it?" he began.

Sashastrasza, Alana
Blackrock Citadel
Alana stepped off first, rolling her bike down the ramp. Sasha soon followed; carefully leading Fluffyclaws off the tram and through the crowd rushing out the doors.
Both the girls looked up, being hit with the head almost instantly as they stared at the giant Dwarven Architecture.
"It's... like Ironforge... but bigger." Alana examined.

Turin pointed a finger into the sky, then departed upstairs without another word. It was not long before a helicopter emerged from the clouds, its rotor blades loud enough to herald its appearance - but nowhere near loud compared to the voice of the pilot, more akin to the sound of heavy stone slabs falling upon some dusty, weathered floor of a dungeon than something a living - or, for that matter, undead - throat could possibly produce.
M
ILADY.
Just as Turin had promised, a rope-ladder was cast down to Selin.
Turin made it to the top row, walking up to the seats where he had left Silver.

Turin sighed, then cupped his hands in front of his mouth, "Silver! Where are you?"
He did not particularly care if he looked stupid.
