"That it will," Cassidy nodded, taking a step back to take one last look at the lock, then turning around.
"I find myself regretting. That we will not be able to witness it," the mercenary commented as he walked away from the door to join the siblings in the safe spot. "Oh well, at least the sound it. Will make we can safely hear. Without fear of our eardrums or equivalent. Thereof rupturing."
The bounty hunter leaned against a wall, took out a detonator to one of the bombs now adorning the lock and pushed the button.

"Wanna see!" Byte cried, trying to see through Cassidy's body with X-ray vision he did not in fact have..
"Cool guys don't look at explosions," Leo chided once the duo joined them.
Byte whimpered, nestling deeper in the magical pocket of wonders yet unfound.

"Cool guys," Cassidy said somewhat dreamily as the facility shook around them once more, "Set the world on fire just to see if they can. And watching the raging flame. Devour the civilization, they cook s'mores. On the smoldering coals."

"I do not care!" Quasiglobal's voice rang out in the massive domed room. Arches ran up all the walls hither and thither, culminating in a peak upon the ceiling. The walls were polished smooth, and a pair of doors led into the chamber. One was a more natural sized portal, which led to the rest of the facility, while the other was far larger. This led directly to the manufacturing wing of the Forge of Wills. The only other opening in the room was a massive balcony which stretched from the rear of the chamber and out into the cold wastes of the Storm Peaks. In between these three entrances spotted a dozen ringed constructions of steel and runed sorcery. Portals to various locals. It was from here that the titans would conjure gateways to the other realms of Azeroth, though every ring was silent. Runes which ones blazed blue with magic dull and lifeless.
Yet, even this image of magnificence was not what first draws the eye. Living up to it's function, the space of the ceiling was not left empty. Planets of the entire Azerothian solar system, forged of the golden metal which composed nearly all titan architecture, drifted through the air, suspended on great metal rings which ferried them about their aligned paths. All orbited a large ball in the center, a halo of metal flames marking it as the sun.
On the floor, directly beneath this array of wonder and upon a slightly elevated platform stood the one in charge of this center of a mystical highway. Quasiglobal, hammer held in one hand, shouted into a blue, static image of Brokkar which poured from his other palm.
"Please, sir! You must understand, the damage done to the Doom Construct-."
"It matters not! If I need to activate it, I shall! These intruders will not leave-...Grk! WITHOUT A COLLECTION OF FLUFFABLE BUNNIES! TO HUG! A-ND! CUDDLE WITH JOY!"
Quasiglobal paused as something even louder than his voice boomed through the echoing chamber. He turned his head, metallic brow furrowing as the door leading to the rest of the facility was blasted open.
"Speak of Sargeras, and he will come," he growled.
"But-." Quasiglbal closed his fist, silencing the AI as he turned to meet the intruders.

Victor Atwood

"Cool," Victor said, quite unimpressed. He trained his gun along the horizon, expecting hell to break loose any moment.
And it did. Just not the way he expected.
In a great cloud of dust and sand a large number of tanks came rolling. They were of old designs - some exhaling huge pillars of thick white smoke from their ancient steam engines - but they were so many Victor had difficulties counting them among the clouds. He lowered his rifle and stood down, looking tired.
"Things could be worse, I suppose," he said loud enough to be heard over the now thundering roar of tracks, wheels and engines. "They also could be better."

"You're lucky it's not whisky, else I'd shoot you myself," Victor chuckled as the tank brigade rumbled closer. He slung his rifle up on his back again, rubbing his hands. "Alright, let's play nice."

Sashastrasza
Eldre'Thalas
Sasha skipped along out of the palace; following after Evan quickly to find the Arcanist General.
She glanced around at the scene of the parking lot. A part of her filled with horror and rage; anger at her sister for such an insane act. And yet, beneath its facade, that very same part cried for help from her sister; begged for release.
Such a part was deeply buried, however. On the surface was merely the excited and overly chipper servent of Ilvora.
The servent who also melted into fear almost instantly upon spotting her master.
Alana Greyfang
Eldre'Thalas
"Burning Legion? Really?" Alana wondered as she followed along quickly. "That's what I get compared to? I feel insulted, noone respect good improv anymore." She commented.
The attempt to lighten the mood seemed to fall flat even for herself, however. Strange as it was to her, the Half-Dragon was slowly but surely realizing how screwed they were.
Even during all of Gilneas, she had never been overcome with such dread.
Ferin Hopewell
Zepplin
Ferin raised an eyebrow. "Hmm?" He asked; peeking over.
Balah'Amin
Ironforge
Balah slowed; shoving her way through the crowd. "Excuse me, gotta get through, concerned cousin and all..."
Saratio Shikana
Stormwind
Saratio nodded to the man before boarding, a nearly unnoticable smirk forming under his face's covering.
Specter
Tanaris
Specter stared for a long moment; as if trying to burn a hole in the doo and ignite the Dwarf and Human. when such efforts failed, he sighed; standing up.

Character:
Johann Augustus
Location:
Wetlands
For a second time that day, Johann conjured the summoning cube. The runes flowed, the light flashed, and when it faded what remained was a considerably more clothed Shareen.
Garbed in a green dress, tastefully long (considering its wearers nature) with flowers decorating it, she stood before the two, scowling. A pendant with an upside down Y dangled from her neck as she leaned forward and pointed at the elf and human.
"You people. You owe me a new bathtub."
Character:
Hunter P. Tracker, Havencalw, Faust
Location:
Gilneas Countryside
Hunter ripped his hand back from the biting jaws, earning himself a claw across the face as punishment for his neglect. The hunter snorted as blood trickled from a cut just beneath his eye.
"Well son, first blood to ya," he said beofre jabbing a fist like a battering ram at the worgen's stomach.
Havenclaw glanced over her shoulder at the retreating figure of the town. She took her paw off her wound, inspecting the blood which stained her fingers thoughtfully.
Character:
Grigory Molotov
Location:
Ironforge
Grigory stood near the entrance of the lab. A stocky dwarven woman wearing the grey robes of a scholar and a pair of small square spectacles at his side, both waiting for Alexxa to finish.
Character:
Dr.Prometheus, Pyre, D79, Smiles, Arthenvold
Location:
Ironforge
The trucks rolled to a stop at the barrack's front. Without even waiting for the vehicle to stop, D79 leaped from the back, rushing to the passenger side before nearly tearing the door open.
"My Queen," the three fingered soldier called, bowing solemnly as the doctor eased his way out. "What might I do for you?"
The doctor grunted, cracking his back. He took a step, only to limp, favouring the side he had struck when rolling on the cement. He rubbed said thigh with a wince. "A cane would be great. Hickory would be the best, now that I think of it. In case I need to beat some kids," he informed the drone. D79 saluted smartly and charged into the barracks, nearly knocking the leader of the dark irons aside as he wandered outside.
"Well, good ta see all ye back in one piece," the dwarf declared, clasping his ancient opposites hand warmly with both hands. "And, if eye may ask, where's Julius? Ridin' in the back eh? Wager 'e cussed ya fer that eh? Eh?"
The doctor stared dumbly. "Who now?"
"Me brother," Arthenvold replied. When he continued to receive only a blank stare his smile faded a touch. "Dwarf? 'bout my height? ...Supposed ta meet ya?... 'E wore this helmet that hid is 'ole face."
The doctor snapped his fingers. "Oh! That was your brother? I had no idea what his name was."
Arthevold gave the gauntleted man a bemused look. "Then, what'd you call 'im?"
"Aerodynamic."
"Eh?"
"Nothing! Nothing," Dr.Prometheus cried, gesticulating for silence. He sighed, placing a hand on the dwarf's shoulder with a somber expression. "Listen...erm...You." He gestured at Arthevold. "I'm...sorry to break this to you but...he didn't make it."
Arthevold stared at the doctor in shock. "Wh...wha'?"
"Yeah, how do I say this..." Goggled eyes cast themselves skyward, the elderly man slowly sighing. "He...went, in first. Some robots were there and caught him in a net. Then...well, some really angry mage girl had a robot smack him into the ground and...broke his neck."
The dwarf stared at the man before him, disbelief slowly giving way to understanding. "B-but...naw, no...It..."
"Yes," the doctor cried, patting his grieving companions shoulder. "Truly, we couldn't have done it without him. He opened doors for many of us. But, when the Light closes a door, he opens a window. And your brother..." the doctor patted the dwarf on the shoulder. "He was that window opener.
"But you know what helps people grieve?" the doctor asked solemnly. "Unpacking a truck full of bomb parts. I'll be inside if you need me!" With a final warm squueze of the shoulder and a cheery wave, the doctor limped into the barracks, leaving the grieving dwarf behind.

Cassidy let out an amused snort at the sight of Quasiglobal, "I do wonder if we can overload. That thing's emotional circuits. Ahem."
The bounty hunter boldly stepped out into the open, his assault rifle held to the side.
"Greetings again!" he proclaimed, purposefully rolling his 'r' to bring the ridiculousness levels up to eleven, "We come with the
merriest
intentions. Bringing
joy
and magic that is.

Turin paused, contemplating his next words, then decided that Selin would flat out stop him the moment she had enough of his problems. He allowed himself a small smile, thinking about set-in-stone reliability of some people in particular moments, then spoke, "I don't know, honestly. I mean, it sure felt like I was the only one trying to make things work where it takes two people to succeed, trying to treat it is as something more than a way to kill time. But I can't help but wonder, y'know, was it maybe something I did? Could it have gone better? Was I not trying hard enough?"

Character
: Lisciel Dawnchaser, Walter Joyce
Location
: Hinterlands
Lisciel scowled, "Esteban, try planeswalking to shut their caster down. Everyone else, a defensive circle formation. If Esteban fails, we fall back!"
The Blood Mage nodded solemnly, driving his single Verdant Sphere into his own chest. His features blurred, and a shimmering green aura surrounded him as he ceased to belong solely to the material plane. Esteban callously collected the spilled blood of his comrades - though, of course, he only took what was already irrevocably lost for them - and distilled the life force, the remnants of their pain into energy for his attack.
"Blood of the Highborn cries out for vengeance," the young Blood Mage murmured, sending forth a disruptive spell on every plane he could reach.
Meanwhile, Arystarch, Borwayne, Clarissa and Damrod joined their powers to their archmage, who conjured a glowing barrier around the elves. Though a formidable defense, it would not last long. And unless Esteban was capable of bringing down the enemy caster before the shield went down, the only option remaining to them was retreating.

The wave flowed over his wall, and the words started to shine brightly. After a moment, so did the spaces, then the punctuation. "That's vexing," January remarked, scrawling his signature onto the end of the violet paragraph.
The words shone brightly, creating a sickening mix of purple and gold. January called down the tunnel, "December says his regards!" and the words, both violet and golden, exploded into a glowing hail, which hurled down the hallway and around the special forces and reformed behind them.
The words stopped glowing, revealing a mass of purple flesh, which rose to its full height.
The Faceless One roared in madness inducing agony, and threw itself at the shield, sending tendrils of madness and vampiric energy into the construct.

"Mr.Cassidy!" Leo cried indignantly. "How dare you make light of the mentally deranged," the scientist chastised sharply.
Quasiglobal's eye twitched in barely bottled rage. Which he promptly unstopped with a roar at the intruders, banging his hammer and sending jolts of electricity running about his feet. "Impudent welps!" he cried, pointing his hammer at them. "I am not mentally deranged! I am Grrk-aaaarck! FAT A-ND! SA

Sindry snickered from her place behind Leo.
