"Yeah, I get it." Sasha told him. "Got any ideas where though?" She asked. "It's not like when we were kids and adventure was just a walk down the road, you know..."
Balah'Amin, Coldpelt
Stormwind City
"I dunno." Balah shrugged. "Until I think of something better to do, I guess."

"Then maybe we could get together again after I get done with this job tomorrow?" He asked her.

Character:
Johann Augustus
Location:
Stratholme
The cool night air washed over Johann, the door to the inn clicking behind him. There were still some cabs idling about the newly cobbled rods, the horse's shoes clicking on the street as they ponderously wandered by. Johann watched one approach, a hand drifting to the coin purse hanging limply from his waist. The cab drive slowed his steed to a crawl, eying the young man from his seat.
"Looking for a ride?"
Johann gave the man an incredulous look. "In that! Ha! You must be joking." The cab driver scowled at the young man. With an irritable flick of his reigns, he spurred his horse into a quick trot, leaving Johann alone once more, idly thumbing the solitary copper coin in his purse.
Johann was silent for a long time after the cab had gone.
"...Walking builds character anyway!" He nodded to himself firmly at the assertion and turned away from the road, trodding along the sidewalk with umbrella over his shoulder, hand firmly planted in his pocket.
It took him nearly two hours to reach the city gates, nearly missing it before it closed for the night. Nevertheless, with a final magnanimous wave to the gate guards he made his way into the night, and the borderingLordaeron forest.
It was dark and dismal in the woods. Newly growing trees sprouted here and there, but the landscape was still dominated by sickly, skeletal trees which had survived the land's blight. Johann pulled his robes tighter about him as a cold gust slithered amongst the trunks, leaves browned by autumns chill shaking witheringly. Just out of sight from the road, Johann came upon a small clearing, dead leaves carpeting the ground heavily and rolling like a wave with every gust of wind. Wandering to a specific trunk, he brushed the covering leaves away unveiling a large pack, bedroll tightly held upon the top.
Johann stood back from the tree. Clapping his hands, he mumbled a slow, rumbling incantation. From the air about him, wisps of rolling blue and purple smoke began to gather, coiling together into a single, hulking form. Golden armbands twisted into existence about a pair of smoky, clawed limbs. A head at the front of the body manifested itself, a pair of glowing white eyes snapping open. Johann ceased chanting, his eyes opening and gazing upon the to heavy, humped form of a voidwalker.
The demon groaned, slowly moving his head back and forth with a cracking noise. The creature flourished a hand, a pair of horn rimmed spectacles manifesting in his grip, which he then fixed before his squinting eyes.
"Hmmm. I suppose...it was...successful?" he asked.
Johann scoffed, pulling out the bedroll from the pack and fairly throwing it up on the damp ground. "No! I knew those rubes would have no clues where those necromancers might have stashed their spellbooks. Doubt they even wondered why the Scholomance library was half emp-ty when the Crusade got there! Idiots!"
The voidwalker eyed his master for a moment. "I thought...you were going to spend...the night in an inn?"
Johann paused for a moment, then scoffed once more. "As if I would degrade myself and spend the night in a backwoods town like that! The beds are probably filled with bugs and lice and...ugh, who know what else!" he said, shaking his head in disgust. The voidwalker raised a brow skeptically and hummed, slowly slouching against a tree.
"Besides," Johann continued, laying his robes out on a tree to avoid getting them dirty during the night. "Such petty comforts from a place like that will be nothing when I! I! Find those spellbooks, and return with them to the warlock's guild." Johann sighed wistfully as he burrowed into his sleeping bag. "Then they'll see what I can do...yeah...they'll see..."
The young warlock soon drifted to sleep, lulled by dreams of glory beneath the ragged autumn trees.

Sasha thought for a bit. "You know what? I'll let you guys decide... I'm not good at this 'adventure' stuff..." She sighed. "I'll get ready and head up to the guildhouse with her, sound good?"
Balah'Amin, Coldpelt
Stormwind City
"That sounds good." Balah smiled.

Sasha nodded; setting the phone up and actually getting started on her act of showering. "This should prove interesting..." She said.

"You two are so cute together." Coldpelt commented. "I think I just got diabetes."
Balah sighed.

Zach began packing things away. "Righto then," he said, putting away the last few things and stowing the bag in the GP. "Shall we get moving?" he asked, climbing in and starting up the ignition.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHA!" Zach roared, flooring the GP and sending it forward in a spray of sand. After a moment, he let up on the gas, slowing to a reasonable pace. "Sorry," he said sheepishly. "Sometimes I can't help it."

"Agreed," Zach said, keeping them at a quick pace, but not unreasonable. "The engine just... I dunno. I like it when it goes really fast," he said, looking left and right shiftily.

"Alana!" Sasha called downstairs, holding a towel around herself.
"What?" The half-dragon called back.
"Get some stuff together, we're heading up to Kai and Evan's." Sasha replied; heading into her room to get dressed.
Alana blinked, shrugging as she rushed up to her room.

Loki
Goldshire
Loki had made his way to the village and went straight to the inn paying for a room before heading to the room and passing out.
He woke up the next morning when he heard a pounding on the door of his room. "I didn't ask for a wake up service!" He shouted.
"Get your butt out of bed and opened this door before I break it down!" A voice replied on the other side.
"Please be the cold hands of death." Loki mumbled as he rolled out of his bed and walked to the door and opened it revealing a half-elf with long blond hair that was pulled back into a ponytail and blue rimmed glasses. She was wearing a grey blouse and skirt and holding a stack of papers in one hand.
"Close enough. Hello Karen." He said and she walked past him into the room. "Please come in." He grumbled as he closed the door.
