"Probably out with her friends." Salena said as she walked into the backyard and started to gather supplies from a green house located against the back of the yard.
"Fun stuff." Calin said. "Did your bike get blown up as well?" She asked.

Turin shut his eyes for a second, taking a deep breath. He would not raise his voice and be impolite. He would not.
"They have been a beacon, yes. But it was mortals to have rebuilt this place and fended off the demons. And besides, it has many valuable resources - now our people are willing to defend it second after our home. Until this planet finally dies, at least," he said quietly and slowly. He wanted to get what was on his mind across, and he struggled to organize a little impromptu speech.
"What I am trying to say is, a mortal leader could have gathered the refugees and rebuilt this place. Look at Khadgar, for example. What is it that these Naaru have done other than hovering in the back, inspiring people with their shiny light, and having mortals fight?
Do not think that I do not know just what has reignited the Sunwell, or know and do not appreciate it. But if one of them dying could do so much, why do they not do something of similar scale in life? How can preparing for their battle with the Legion be more important than the suffering of people around them here and now - especially if you consider the fact that, if only the Naaru took a more direct approach, they would end up with much more recruits for their Army?"

Sandor opened the door and ushered Isilver into a small chamber, lavishly decorated. Across the floor stood a massive sculpture of a spider-like creature, grotesque and repulsive, at sharp contrast with its surroundings. The Baron hoped the monstrosity of a statue would hold her attention long enough for him to shut the door.

Leo remained where he was on the floor, breathing heavily.
With a screech of distressed metal, Quasiglobal pulled his welded foot up, taking several pieces of the floor with it. The construct rose to his full height and looked back to Brokkar. "WHERE HAVE OUR...GRGHH...POLITE! AND! WELL MEANING GUESTS! GRK! GONE!"
"The intruders have crossed the Light Bridge. It was disabled. The targets crossed in time," Brokkar intoned.

Lucien shrugged. "I suppose."
"Fried, actually." Alana corrected. "Gotta call Loki, see if he can get me a new one."
Upstairs, Sasha finally stripped off her rather horribly destroyed clothes. Inspected them, she sighed and resolved that they were trash by now; burned, ripped, and stained with blood and sewage alike.
Tossing them into a bag, she climbed into the shower and winced as the water hit her burnt shoulder and other wound. She also visably gagged as it ran through her hair and left a black and brown sludge running down the drain.

Alrissa let loose one arrow after another, attempting to clip the gryphon's wings and sent it plummeting back to the ground.

Characters:
Lord Rivendare
Location: Jungle, Spider Island
Lord Rivendare rotated the vial of water with his fingers as he watched the undead Gilneans work. They had already brought back the stones he needed - those who hadn't already had their souls removed were now just like the others - and they had already set them into the perfect places per his orders. Now the death knight watched as they poured gallon after gallon of spring water - gathered from just a few miles away. It would take some time to fill... but that was a good thing, because he realized he could use one last detail to make this Deathwell - as the direct opposite of the original was already in use - all the more potent.
"Trave to Elwynn," he said to Voyd and Fal'uci, "and bring back a virgin girl. I don't care how old, just make sure she is uncorrupted in any sense. We need her as much... untill a few seconds after the well is full." He opened a portal to a reculsive portion of the Stormwind forest-lands, and with that the troll and man stepped through. The death knight could monitor their positions, but he was confident that nothing would get in the way of those two.
As for the rest of his project here in the jungle... Construction was already under way. He had yet to set up the automatic-direction rune he planned to, but the support beams for what would be a mighty tower were already being constructed and pulled into place, with the Deathwell at the center. It was only a matter of time.

Vira Darkbreeze, Forsaken Rebels
Darrowshire
Being skeletal, the Paragon's wings were not east targets and he managed to dodge most of the arrows before speeding towards where they were coming from. Alexandros drew forth his axe; raising the Arcanite Reaper over his head and leaping to bring it down at Alrissa.
Vira moved slowly, knowing she had to get up but in far too much pain to hurry.
The explosion of dust and stone as the bullet penetrated the ground beside her, however, got the Dark Ranger moving much more quickly.

Vrem scowled.
It was over.
They had failed.
He
had failed.
Alrissa dodged away from the axe and fired more arrows at Alexandros. Vrem also turned his attention to the warrior and fired shot after shot at the other undead's skull. At such a close range, the sniper rifle would peirce even the strongest of metal.
Characters: Fal'uci, Voyd
Location: Deep within Elwynn Forest
Screams of terror and pain shook the air as the two tore through what was a small community in the eastern half of Elwynn. It was secluded, far enough away from anywhere that it would take time for any distress signal sent out to be replied to but near enough to the major population that they had a large variety of people to choose from.
Because of that later point, and the near-complete lack of restrictions Lord Rivendare had put on their search, they had no trouble finding a sutible canidate; a young girl, no older than sixteen years of age, if even that. Voyd grabbed the little miss while Fal'uci's shadows again cut down the guard that tried to stop them.
"Back to the forest," Voyd said, dragging the screaming girl with him. "Best we get away from any possible "heroes" before Lord R-," he stopped and corrected himself, "the master reopens the portal." He had almost Morec's name slip out, that wouldn't have been good. Lord Rivendare had a reputation amongst the Forsaken, his name was fairly widely known. While it was unlikely anyone this far south of Lordaeron would know it by heart, if they did their research they would have no trouble tracing the name to the person, and then not only would war come to the Forsaken on a front Morec did not want - yet - but it would also jepordize his position within the Forsaken, his one strong foothold in civilization.
That could not be allowed, so they had to be careful about using names - even Voyd's, Fal'uci's, and other others' names could, with time and effort, be traced to Lord Rivendare. With doubled restraint on preventing such a slip of the tounge, the two pulled the screaming and kicking girl back into the trees.
Characters:
Lord Rivendare
Location: Jungle, Spider Island
Lord Rivendare watched the dots on the palm of his hand, monitoring their progress. They had made good time; excellent time, in fact. They would be back in no time and, with the Deathwell almost full, they would be able to proceed with the ritual as planned.
He walked along the edge of the well, magically carving runes into the stones along the rim and base of the well. The ones along the rim were simple enough; enhancement spells, designed to make the courruption of the Sunwell's water - which was already a dirty black sludge in its vial - all that more quick to spread through the spring water and let the Deathwell grow. The ones along the bottom, though, were different; they were portal runes, but a particular pattern that needed a second set to activate; once opened, though, only the one - or two, as Lord Rivendare's plans currently were - would be able to alter it in any fashion. It was basic magic, but powerful magic all the same.
He looked at his palm again, frowning as he thought he noted something coming towards them through the forest. But he was sure Voyd and Fal'uci would be able to handle themselves; after all, he had chose them carefully when he had assaulted the Stormwind Vault. Out of
all
the psychopaths and monsters he could have taken with him, he had taken those five: The Masked Swordsman, Fright, Fal'uci, Voyd, and Ras. Those he had felt were the most qualified of the criminals and fiends the Vault had kept locked away for far too long...
Still... It always paid to have a few more hands lying around... So maybe it was time to go on another recruitment spree. Not to the Vault; no, he would wait for Prometheus' plans for Stormwind before he attempted such a stunt again. But he wondered how the war in the Plaguelands - that was what he had come to see it the most as, that was what he would always know it as - was coming along.
He smiled at the thought of the war, of the conflict, between the living and dead to come. So many monsters to be created on either side through the madness of battle, so many potential allies to recruit... Of course, for those allies granted to him by the war in Lordaeron, he had a very
special
plan in mind....
He tapped the cover of his tome with his left hand as he continued his work.

Alexandros swung; slicing through an arrow and trying to bring a shoulder up to block the bullets. They ripped through his armor however; knocking the warrior back with a shout of pain as he fell limp.
Vira gripped the arrow; ripping it from her chest and knocking it into her bow. Raising it up, she charged it with necromantic magics and let it fly towards where the snipers were; meaning for the attack to explode upon reaching them.

Knick Knack pulled back into his cubby hole like a key to a lock. The doors jumped open a touch, a gust of fetid air rushing forth into the cave. With a groan like aged joints, the doors slid inward ponderously, coming to rest wide open and inviting the trio to enter the darkness within.
