Characters:
Lord Rivendare
Location: Airship
The death knight smiled and bowed. "Thank you, good Doctor," he said politely. "And I can assure you; they
will
be an affront to the light." With a wave of his hand he opened a portal back to Prometheus' compoun, merely a few paces away from where both Voyd and the Swordsman stood and where the Gilneans were being held.
He nodded to the both of them as he closed the portal. "The Doctor has given us permission to use his captives," he said, "take care of them." The Swordsman pulled his weapon from its sheath and Voyd slammed the palms of his hands together, pulling them apart to reveal arcing black lightning bouncing between them. The two men advanced on the civilians...
Screams and red mist filled the air as one by one, two by two, the Gilneans fell and died. Clean deaths, every one of them; a slash to the throat, a heart stopped, nothing too badly maiming their bodies. Lord Rivendare watched the slaughter with patience, taking time to mentally and physically prepare himself for his part of this understaking.
It would be the largest ressurection he had ever attempted, he would need a little time to recouperate after it, but it would be worth it. Oh yes, it would be worth it.
Character: Nina Luryheq
Loraction: Deep within Eversong Forest, Quel'thalas
A nice secluded spot, far from prying eyes. It was here that Nina sat down to rest from her journey and wait for Lord Rivendare to reopen the portal that would bring her back. She had already removed the brace and placed it in a small rucksack she now had - purchased on her way out. The radiation from the Sunwell and the brief closeness of the water she had taken into the vial to her arm had mended her broken bone, as well as removed some of the plague from her body, but Lord Rivendare would take care of the rest on her return.
All she had to do was wait, and then the second part of this phase of Morec's plan could begin.

Character: Salena Greyfang
Location: Gilneas
"Hey Sparkbolt!" Salena shouted causing some people to stop and look at her. A few moments later Sparkbolt came running up to her.
"What? Did something happen to Richard?" He asked.
"No nothing like that. Would you happen to know if any of these ships are heading back to Stormwind?" She asked.
Sparkbolt sighed and pointed to one at the end of the dock. "That one is heading back to pick up supplies. If you need a ride back they'll take you back." He said.
"Thank you." She said with a smile and Sparkbolt turned with a grumble and walked off.

Vashadya Duskwind

"But let us not dwell on the past," Vashadya decided eventually, putting a comforting hand on Rotha's shoulder and managing to brighten up. "What brings you to Stormwind?" she asked, changing the topic.
Vagrin Wrathhammer, Lektri Wyrmbolt
Gnomeregan
It was not every day that a herd of stampeding rams made its way through Gnomeregan, but the city's denizens had seen enough odd occurrences to show little if any surprise. Some went so far as to complain about the weather or the fact the rams were not keeping the noise down, which did not serve to improve Vagrin's temper in the slightest.
"I. 'ate. Rams," the dwarf grunted, sheer adrenaline keeping him from slowing down any further. Lektri made no indication that he had heard, the gnome instead was fumbling with a gizmo of some sort as he did his best to keep running. The dwarf was just about to let loose another string of abuse aimed at their pursuers, when suddenly a thunderclap ripped through the chilly air. Everything went dark once again.

Characters:
Lord Rivendare
, The Masked Swordsman, Voyd
Location: Prometheus' Compound, Spider Island
The last of the Gilnean civilians lay dead amongst the rest of the corpses of her countrymen and women. The blood pooled around them like a small ocean, an inch deep and still warm with the life it had once brought the men and women Lord Rivendare had just had slaughtered. The Swordsman and Voyd stepped away from the corpses to stand behind the death knight, who was almost ready for the unholy undertaking.
Then he opened his eyes, his glowing blue eyes that shined even brighter than they previously had. In one swift motion he extended his arms towards the mound of copses, and unleashed wave after wave of necromantic energy into them. The energy arched across the corpses as he continued the spell, not only casting it upon the bodies but weaving it into every fiber of their beings. These would not be mere temporary constructs; he needed them to last for some time, so he needed to make sure the necromantic magic he was reviving them with would not simply evaporate off of them as time passed.
Minute after minute he continued this process, turning his focus on each individual corpse and infusing it with the reanimation spell. From men, to women, to even the children he had ordered killed without hesitation, he slowly and carefully brought them back to life. Mindless, yes, but lasting and untiring.
Exactly
what he needed from these minions.
After a full thirty minutes of this process, he finally allowed himself to lower his arms and then staggar back. He had bene correct; that process had been incredibly taxing upon him. But it had been worth it.
Slowly, all of the Gilnean corpses rose to stand again. They did not move to do anything but that, until Lord Rivendare made a slight motion with his hand, causing them all to stand as tall as they could and salute. "Hail Lord Rivendare! Civilization shall end!" They spoke in unison, their voices soulless even with their souls locked deep within their fleshy forms... At least, for now they were.
The death knight smiled and made another motion with his hand. The Gilneans filed into a pair of lines and began to march from their holding cell. "Ensure the way is open, this may take some time to move themall through," Lord Rivendare said to his two associates. Voyd and the Swordsman nodded, and depated from his pressence.
The death knight himself remained, eyes the passing crowd with his eyes and mentally preparing what their next orders would be. He would be here for some time, directing them untill he worked up a rune to keep them working without his commands and pressence being a nessescity. But, this was a start, and a grand start at that.

Vashadya Duskwind
Harbour District, Stormwind
The priestess felt touched that the worgen had come to Stormwind just to see her, but at the same time she looked a little surprised that Rotha had learnt so quickly of her arrival.
"If you need my help with anything don't be afraid to ask," she told her, "I came here so that I could actually get something done again - I have been cooped up in Darnassus for far too long."

"I think that's called the Weeping Cave. As in filled with oozes and bog beasts Weeping Cave! Which makes sense, now that I think about it. Where better to hide them to make sure the Crusade wouldn't look into?" Johann observed, following Naia with added caution.
"Should have worn some shoes..." Shareen grumbled, her hooves clicking on the rocks.

Johann rolled his eyes and scoffed. Shareen meanwhile didn't really know what to do, so said nothing.
The arcane trail snaked deep into the darkness of the cavern's depths like a trail of breadcrumbs. Naia's globe of light shined off the dark grey of the stone and thick moss of the caverns like a miniature sun, casting nervous shadows here and there. The occasional pools of water collected in the dips and grooves of the cavern glittered wherever they went, but far more disconcerting was the occasional trail of green slime which crawled across the floor.
The entire place had an unpleasantly warm humidity to it, and the stench of rotting plant life and other best unnamed things filled the air thinly, but pervasively, prompting Johann to grimace.

Character:
Johann Augustus, Shareen
Location:
Western Lordaeron
"Hopefully that's the..." Johann trailed off as the light fell upon a large door built into the cavern wall itself. As wide as an ogre and slightly taller, it arched like the blade of a scythe, it was made of stone and, of all things, bones. The frame was made of bricks with femurs, skulls, and menagerie of other pieces of humanity past constructed between as if some macabre trim. At the very top was a pair of gaping holes, one with a human skull set within, the second empty.
Of the doors themselves, they were thick things without a sign of handles. More bones made them as if used in lieu of mortar, and the hollow grins of skulls and the flash of bleached bones illuminated the whole of the thing for the trio. A pair of skeletal hands yellowed in age held a pair of blackened metal sconces, extinguished long ago.
And directly into the sepulchral construct, led the arcane trail.
"Huh..."
"I know," Shareen agreed. "How tacky."
