Character: Nexus
Location: K3
"Bacon?" Nexus asked, her ears perking up as she rubbed her hands together and licked her lips. "I do like the sound of that."
Character: Kef
Location: Stormwind
Kef pondered for a moment, trying to remember something that could help a hangover. Ultimately, she decided to just set aside some of the brew she'd already been making, with a bit of sungrass added to it.
She carefully poured a cup of each and took them to the sick. While the coughing man drank, she subtly cured his disease.
Character: Randolph
Location: Andorhal
"Please, I mean you no harm, and I would like to believe that you mean none to me as well," Randolph pleaded. "If you something bad has happened, please just tell me."

Character:
Leo, Sindry, Byte
Location:
K3
"Maybe later. So," Leo began, clearing a spot on a table and placing a large roll of paper on it, unfolding it to reveal a map of the Storm Peaks. "Here's the plan. Everyone gather 'round. I don't want to have to go over this again when someone might just be hiding in the rafters and hear the entire scheme. It happens more often than you would think," he assured them.
Character:
Carters
Location:
Andorhal
"Something bad's about to happen if you don't get out," the innkeeper thundered, slowly moving around the bar.
From the kitchen where the young woman had vanished, the sound of a door quickly closing could barely be heard.
Character:
Dr.Prometheus Sr., Pyre, D79
Location:
Gilneas
"Pyre?" The doctor asked, twisting his head to spot her.
"Yeah." The knife was pressed in a shaking hand against her back as she closed the distance.
D79 was barely moved by the impact, but he was. And so was the rocket. With a scream it fled from the cradle of its launcher amidst a curtain of flames. The rocket streaked through the sky, leaving behind a trail of smoke amongst the rain before slamming into the tower. The explosion set the tower rocking, the whole contraption tilting crazily. But the shot was off. It had wounded the leg, but most of the damage was done to the framework of the tower about it. The metal of the structure creaked in pain as it seemed to slouch on one side, groaning to a halt, remaining just upright by a hair.
D79 screeched and fury, swinging the rocket launcher at the worgen who had struck him.
Character:
Manny
Location:
Outskirts of Gilneas
Mooring lines clung from the bulbous form of the zeppelin like a spiders web, holding it steady over the treetops. Not far away lay the sprawling figure of the Gilnean capitol, fire and smoke mingling in the dusk to blot out the stares here and there.
Such visions were hidden to the soldiers which had set themselves up in the woods. Though they held a high vantage point in the zeppelin, which floated high above the trees, said tress ironically made it impossible to exploit such a position. Thus, they had to make do with infrequent snipers amongst the towering woods and the occasional scout upon the ground. Most of these were concentrated in the space between the city and the moored zeppelin, but the majority of soldiers had placed themselves either aboard, or in a large clearing directly below the airship. The wet soil had done little to be helpful in digging trenches, thus boxes and logs had been assembled in a crude barrier about the position.
Within this circle of bristling guns and ordinance, a single figure crouched. He was inordinately tall and slender, almost nine feet when standing upright. All of his frame was covered in baggy waves of black cloth, with long sleeves terminating in oddly wide cuffs, the same style for his feet. A pair of long, glistening blades curved slightly like a sickle protruded from these sleeves, the metal glittering in the darkness. A long strip of cloth hang loosely from his neck, terminating near the red sash cinched tightly about his waist and decorated with strange runic symbols. His face was cloaked thickly in a stiff square hat, with several strips hanging loosely off as a veil, leaving but a single strip uncovered where a pair of low, glowing yellow eyes could be seen amongst the shadows.

"The roof," Johann gasped as he entered the tunnel, pointing at the arch where the tunnel met the chamber. The warlock fed his good hand with shadow magic from the second as he quickly backed away. "Bring it down!"

Nexus waltzed on over to the table and peered over the edge, just barely able to see the map.
Character: Randolph
Location: Andorhal
"I see," Randolph answered, his tone biting. "Well, if you will refuse to cooperate, I shall be on my way."
He frowned as he opened the door. This was the only lead he could think of, and he was no farther along than he'd been this morning. It seemed something unpleasant had taken place at this inn, but he had no means of determining what.

In contrast to Nexus, Cassidy loomed over the table, crossing his arms on his chest and tilting his head to the side as he stared down onto the map. He continued to convulsively open and close his fist.

The previously diseased man broke into a fit of coughing halfway through his bowl. No blood came out of his mouth, however - he merely had the stew go the wrong way from the sheer shock. A healthy red colored his cheeks, and his eyes seemed crystal-clear compared to the haziness of but minutes in the past.
"That's..." he set the bowl down, trying to speak through coughs, "Some mighty... stew! Th-thanks!"
The one to be suffering from hangover eyed the cured man, then his bowl, with great suspicion. Shrugging, he took a mighty gulp - and let out a very satisfied belch as his face cleared somewhat - though the change was, obviously, not quite stark.
Character
: Vargariel Chandaris
Location
: Eldre'Thalas
"We do look like we do not belong here, do we not?" Vargariel mused as he turned to face the newcomers as well, the numerous skulls hanging on barbed chains from his belt clinking ever so sharply when they collided with one another. He then spoke to Dorithel, "Do you happen to know what would 'derps' mean, brother? I feel out of touch."
Though it was obvious he tried to lower his voice, what was also obvious was that he seemed to be unable to speak quietly, and he himself frowned when his rasp was carried across the streets of Eldre'Thalas, informing the locals of his ignorance.
Character

Barely realizing what he was doing, Duskhide stood tall and let out a loud, enraged roar of defiance - or, perhaps, challenge. His eyes blazed with purple and his ears were twitching furiously.

"Imagine having everything shaded by the pileus of your 'shroom-house as your yard," Turin pointed out, then paused when the copter took the sharp turn. He did not get hit like Selin, probably because he had, after all, fastened the safety belts.
He knew what he was about to do would annoy Selin greatly, but he did not care much. The knight raised his hand, calling upon the Light to touch his friend's forehead gently and soothe the pain.
Character

"If you say so. I do hope everything will end well with the bank," Walter said with sincere sadness.
"Oh, and you will have to be met once you return, so let me know when to send the welcoming party, yes? This place, well - let me just recite the ancient saying about walking into the same river twice."

Leo, Sindry, Byte

K3
Sindry gave a curious look at the masked mans convulsing hand before looking to her brother as he began to explain.
"So," Leo began, planting his hands on the table and leaning over the map, "we're trying to infiltrate Ulduar. Now, there are a few ways to get in, but most of them are near the rear section of the whole complex. And to get there, not to mention inside it, we'd have to deal with a whole host of defenses and an army of guards. But," he declared with a sly look, "there is an easier way. There's this place called the 'Engine of the Makers'. It's a massive machine that apparently powers the place, and leads directly into Ulduar. We'll be taking a side entrance, through a place called Uldis. It used to house a sort of power core, but that went missing some time back.
"Now, Uldis is Byte-don't-put-that-pig-in-your-mouth!...Uldis is within the mountain called The Temple of Storms. Uldis apparently runs alongside the Engine of the Makers, and leads directly into Ulduar," Leo explained, trailing a finger from the temple of storm to the large temple construct on the map. He tapped the name Ulduar pointedly. "Unfortunately, that's all we know. There's no maps detailing the inside, so we'll have to navigate once inside as best we can."

Character
: Alnerigo "Flamehowl"
Location

Flamehowl joined Duskhide's roar as he was literally forced backward, although no wind could be seen. "Strong," he growled. "Very strong. BURN!" Flames, tinged violet and green, burst to life along his hands and arms, leaving his robes untouched.
Character
: Serenade
Location

"My thanks," Serenade said, checking the paper and heading for the elevator. After checking that the others were with him, he entered and went up several floors.
Zach was scrutinizing the journal when he glanced up. "Somebody's moving in a hurry," he commented, going up to the door and peeking out.
Unfortunately, the door picked that time to be blown inward, knocking Zach into a wall and out. Serenade strode into the room, holding his staff in both hands. The end glowed a soft skyblue, and the runes pulsed gently. "I wouldn't move, if I were you," he advised.

Dorithel sighed. Whether it was at his fellow founder, Romuel, Altari, or a combination of all three was unclear. "Yes..." He admitted in response.
Taliria rushed forward slightly; hugging Romuel as several other Blades stared in confusion, in others seemed more intent on pretending not to notice.

Around the corner waited a young woman. Red hair spiraled about her fairly attractive face pleasantly. Her jaw was strong and shoulders squared, though her hands worried the hem of her serving apron. The young Carter looked up, meeting Randolph's eyes firmly.
"You...knew the doctor?" she asked slowly, weighing her words carefully and as a consequence those the other man would speak as well.
Character:
Dr.Prometheus Sr., Pyre, D79
Location:
Gilneas
"You know, Pyre," the doctor began, looking at the soldiers assembled at the windows on guard with a sort of detached fascination. "I'd almost forgotten the thrill of being in the midst of a life and death battle."
The rocket launcher rang as D79 used it to block the worgen's paw. "Accursed cur!" his voice roared deeply from within his helm, his other three fingered hand flicking a serrated combat knife from his belt. "I'll skin your hide and present it as a gift to the Monarchy!" The soldier jabbed viciously at the worgen with the knife.
Character:
Manny
Location:
Outskirts of Gilneas
D747 idly scratched at his glove. The clothes they were to wear always seemed to itch whenever it rained. An irritating effect usually easy to ignore, but the sheer humdrum of the patrol gave rise to the irritation becoming consuming. His companion, D569 glanced his way.
"Still itching?"
"%^&* yes it's itching."
"Come on man, don't be like that."
"I swear these things are made of, like, polyester or some&*!@. They only itch when it rains."
"Wait, how does polyester-." Both troopers froze as the ground seemed to shudder slightly beneath their feet. Their rifles instantly rose and locked on a distant bush. Both waited for a long moment, the rain dripping from the thick nests of pine above their heads the only motion in the forest.
Until a black furred worgen ripped through the bushes with a snarl.
Manny's eyes suddenly seemed to snap into focus, a dull crack of gunfire echoing faintly from the trees. The inordinately tall figure unbent his knees and rose to his full height, towering over the soldiers who still milled placidly about him. His eyes slowly scanned the trees, loose clothes hanging heavily from his slender form.
"We are...under attack," he said in an unmistakeably saddened tone.

Character
: Vincent Gaillard

Character

Location

"You have no place here," Duskhide stated. Anger was gone from his voice, and were it not for his twitching eyelids, one could have thought he was completely at peace. A pure white, arm-thick lance of nature itself's wrath shot out from his palms and into the giant Eye.

"Well...no. No, not really," Leo replied. "The entrance happens to be several hundred feet up, embedded in the mountain face. And with the lightning storms, harpies, and blue drakes constantly circling around, we're not going to be able to stick around long enough for a scouting mission. Once we're in, we have only a certain amount of time to find the interface room, get what we need, and get back to the entrance.
"Oh, and by the way. We're going to be using a zip line to jump off an airship, cross the distance to the entrance without being smashed into the mountainside by high winds or struck by lightning, and if we manage to survive that, land on a gaping hole in the mountain before venturing into a machine as big as a country, guarded by a legion of deadly robots."
"And you wondered why only one guy showed up," Sindry said with an amused smile.
"Yay! We're doomed!" Byte chirped cheerily from his corner. Then promptly hugged the pig closely with a happy squeak.
