Lady Mary Craycraft
Gilneas City
Mary gave a slight grimace as she looked down at Kai'ren. "I'm terrible sorry about this..." She walked over to Kai, placed her boot in his hands and hoisted herself up the manhole.

"Better pride than face," Turin said sagely, raising a hand with the index finger piercing the sky.
"Come on then, might as well pick up our new armaments."
"Gimme that," Aewen snapped exasperatedly, trying to snatch the paper from the mage's hands and see if there was anything to be read on it to begin with.
Character
: Duskhide
Location
: Stonetalon Mountains
Duskhide paused.
"It's a good thing that our brethren have abandoned this place. I wouldn't want to be traversing the Dream only to wake up and find some big mean tentacled squatters in my Barrow Den," he shuddered.

"Mmmhm, nice beer you have here. And it was brought so quickly - you know, before we became all throwing ominous hints and tips left and right," Vincent said approvingly after sipping from his mug. He pulled a gold coin out of one of his pockets and rested it on his fist. With a flick of his thumb he sent it flying in an arc right into the jar for tips, where it landed, jingling merrily.
"Shame if something happened to this place," the swordsman sighed, then brightened almost immediately, "So thanks for cooperation!"
NPC
: Svala Sorrowgrave
Location

When the axe entered the pilot's cabin, the quartet of gargoyles above paused their ineffectual yet very, very enthusiastic bombardments. They exchanged a short series of chirrups - well, maybe more like a series of ungodly screeching - before diving and trying to make a beeline for the pilot's cabin.
The Valkyrie retorted by channeling a swirling torrent of shadowy energy in Isilver's direction. Predictably, the two beams smashed into each other. Now it was a matter of who had more endurance - and Svala did not tire, what with being undead. The thought of someone interfering into their battle and thus tipping the scale in Isilver's favor did not visit her - after all, did she not send the pitiful mortals scurrying for hide with her psychic assault?
Brutalized by Feyai's attack all the same, the vrykul stood swaying for a couple of seconds as the unholy energy coursing through him flowed into new circuits to adjust to the damage done. His movements were noticeably more sluggish now, and so he picked up both shields, aiming to serve as a rotten meat shield for his companion, who by now had picked up the axe of the sluggy and determinedly rushed to finish Feyai off.

Loki, Karen
Ironforge
Loki walked around his workshop as he started to gather the parts he needed for his robots when he heard the phone attached to the wall by the workbench ring. "Can you get that Karen. My hands are full." He asked.
"Sure." She said walking over and picked up the phone. "Hello?" She asked as Loki walked back to his workbench and sat the parts down. "Hold on I'll check." Karen said then pulled the phone away. "It's your mom." She said.
"I'm not here." He replied looking up. "Tell her I'm on an assignment." He said.
"That might have worked had I covered the phone." She said holding out the phone to him.
"This is turning out to be such a grand day." He mumbled grabbing the phone.

Johann Augustus, Accru'al

Aurius Forest (formerly Plaguewood)
"Good poitn," the warlock agreed, casting a last look at the engraving before continuing on. As they continued down the halls, more and more of the strange symbols cropped up alongside them, an unbroken chain of alien gibberish etched on the stones, as not once did they ever come to a fork in their route. Merely a steady slope downward, the symbols flowing alongside them in a curving design.
Johann frowned as they continued to walk, suddenly grinding to a stop.
"Oh for-. Really now!"
Character:
Dr.Prometheus Sr., Pyre
Location:
Gilneas
The gates of Gilneas City were wide open, hanging weakly on broken hinges. But quite another obstacle presented itself for those who thought they may have had a chance to flee to the relative safety of the woods. Barricades formed of overturned carriages, ravaged wood, and a hundred other items sat haphazardly in a semicircle about the entrance way, worgen in tattered clothes lurking amongst the barrier like horrid shadows, claws and fangs dripping scarlet in the moonlight as they waited for more desperate souls to hazard their gauntlet.
One stood above the others. Ripear lounged atop the barricade, black unadorned fur bathing in the moonlight while one bloodshot eye watched the broken gate, smaller worgen lurking about expectantly. He idly brought a curved claw up and scratched at his namesake, waiting as a new worgen loped up the mountain of refuse.
"S'me people spotted down an alley two blocks from 'ere. C'n I take some a the others and gettem?"
Ripear slowly rose to his haunches and shook his head. "No. We guard here, just like Alpha told us to. Can't let any-." The worgen froze mid-sentence. His nose twitched, an unfamiliar scent assaulting his delicate senses. A shrill scream cut through the night, Ripear's eyes widening.
"Down!" he roared, tackling the smaller worgen to the ground.
An explosion tore through the flimsy wall, flames and shrapnel gutting the barricade and raining death ont hsoe taking refuge on the other side. Howls of pain ripped through the night as those who could batted at the flames, while other lay still, glassy eyes staring at the moon above.
"Charge! For the Monarchy!" Muzzle flashes lit the night as the visored faces of Prometheus's soldiers poured into the breach and over the barricade, taking the high ground and opening fire. The surprised worgen were caught within their own trap, some managing to avoid the rain of bullets and escape back into the street. Most were not so lucky.
As the dust cleared amongst the carnage, not a single worgen remained alive. Dr.Prometheus slowly made his way through the hole the rocket had made in the barricade. He looked about slowly, D79 and Pyre at his sides. The goggled, silver haired man paused before the gate, taking a deep breath. "So," the doctor began, "This is Gilneas city...I hate it already. Well," he started, clapping his hands, the air rippling slightly at the motion and setting several soldiers off their footing, "no point standing around. Let's go euthanize some strays."
With a silent gesture from D79, the platoon of soldiers ordered themselves into fire teams, one covering the other as they penetrated the city.

Sashastrasza, Alana
Gilneas City
Alana took Kai's boost to get up onto the street quickly; clamering out of the opening.
Sasha sighed, placing a foot in Kai's hands. "Please don't drop me..." She muttered; glancing back at the sewer water.
Ferin Hopewell
Thousand Needles
"Makes me feel hungry... let's order some room service..." Ferin commented; following quickly.
Specter
Tanaris
"We've been given permission to take this woman by your boss." Specter informed the bruisers. "Now I suggest you move before I move you."
Dorithel Saberglow, Taliria Blindhawk
Darnassus
Dorithel nodded. "Any ideas who?" He asked, assuming they would only be sending a portion of their forces.

"Look!" The warlock pointed at a symbol on the wall, the same symbol he had brushed his hand across, the same pieces missing which had flecked off. "No wonder the paladins didn't find anything. It's a loop!"
Character:
Dr.Prometheus Sr., Pyre, D79

"Aw man," a soldier grumbled as the barrel bounced before him. "This is gonna suck." This was true, as it was moments before he was promptly devoured in the conflagration of the explosive. A state shared by at least four other fire teams who had entered into the street first, three being taken by the flames instantly, and the last trapped by the flames.
Dr.Prometheus frowned slightly, pausing at the entrance of the street with the rest of his forces at the sight of sixteen of his soldiers exploding, and the final four trapped by closing flames. He glanced at the rooftop from whence the barrels had fallen, noting dark shapes lurking about there "Insects," he groaned before slamming a gauntlet into the building. The dial on his glove whirred to the center, the building abruptly shuddering and swaying, buckling with a resounding crack.
A minute later, the whole structure collapsed in on itself.

Loki, Karen
Ironforge
Loki sighed as he took the phone. "Hi mom how are you?" He said as he used his head and shoulder to hold the phone in place as he began to work.
"What the fel happened to the shop?" Salena said quickly.
"I don't know." He replied.
"Everything is gone. The shelves are empty, the cauldrons are empty and I can't find any of your sisters." She said.
"Wait? All the potions are gone?" Loki said confused and Karen looked at him.
"Yes. And I can't get a hold of anyone to explain what is going on because the girls have there phones turned off." She added as a thump was heard threw the phone. "Firecracker sober up I need answers."
"You need to chill out mom." Loki said tapping the table. "I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for this." He said.
"Like?" Salena asked.
"Ummmmmmmmm I got nothing."

Duskhide snarled angrily, rising to his hind legs and gesturing with his forepaws frantically. A glowing, sizzling orb of nature energy formed between his claws, and he did not hesitate to send it right into the giant.
NPC
: Svala Sorrowgrave
Location

It seemed that the whole plan of the undead hinged on Svala keeping the majority of the mercenaries incapacitated. The two vrykuls went down fairly quickly, as three of the four gargoyles. The fourth barely got through to swing its sharp claws at Darven.
When backup arrived for Isilver, Svala was so startled she was sent tumbling backwards. Fuming and emitting viscous black smoke where the Light hit her, she attempted to fly away - it was now painfully obvious there was little she could do all alone, the lonesome gargoyle notwithstanding.
Meanwhile, the undead gunners below, who had heretofore been biding their time after salvos from the airship, began firing again, loosing another volley of explosive bolts that came close to density and quantity to the first ones.

Sashastrasza, Alana
Gilneas City
"Gonna be a tight fit!" Alana called down to the raptor still in the sewers. "Told you you've been eating too many rats!'
Fluffy grumbled; doing his best to stick his tongue out at the half-dragon. Bracing himself, the raptor leaped upwards; snagging the edge of the manhole with his front claws and scraping at the walls below before pulling himself free and onto the street.
"Told you he made a better pet than a dog." Sasha grinned.
Dorithel Saberglow, Taliria Blindhawk
Darnassus
Dorithel's face became a slight grin as he nodded to Nevera. He glanced back at the trainees, stepping back towards the field. As he walked, he tapped several of the Blades on the shoulders, the elves quickly stopping whatever they were doing and following him.
Taliria took a moment to notice that he was selecting the most seasoned trainees, and almost felt like squealing. She managed to keep herself neutral looking, however; reminding herself that this would be a mission, not a vacation.
Dorithel paused at her for a moment, looking the young woman in the eyes. With a sigh, he nodded and tapped her on the shoulder.
With a silent cheer, Taliria was up in a heartbeat.

Character:

The doctor looked at the flames blocking their path with scorn. "D79? That was a very unfortunate mistake. Our platoons only a little over half strength now," he said coldly.
"My apologies. Boys!" he shouted, pointing at the ruined building Dr.Prometheus had brought down. "Four fire teams. Two advance, two cover. Bring a heavy weapon." Sixteen soldiers saluted. Eight immediately grabbed the ruined walls of the building, vaulting over and taking cover, weapons trained on the landscape of broken bricks and steel laid out before them. Four more jumped onto the ruins, carefully making their way through with rifles at the ready, bayonets glittering in the orange and red in the flames as they too found cover, and the eight behind them began to advance.
"Pyre," the doctor began. "Show them what it means to play with fire."
The woman laughed harshly, pulling up her collar and donning a pair of black tinted goggles. She sprinted forward, on the last step jumping forth and into the wall of fire blocking their way. The dancing fire on the other side spat her out with a flurry of cinders and ash, the woman landing on her feet as wisps of smoke spiraled skyward from her black coat. She looked up at the darkness on the other side of the street, and raised a hand, fingers curling down to press a pressure pad on her palm.
A gout of flaming liquid lurched forth from a nozzle hidden in her sleeve, spraying the shadows with burning liquid.
