The storm crow circled high above the heap of scrapped metal that another race of people would be call a shipwreck. The druid watched the draenei approach cautiously. He saw them investigate the object. He saw them discover a survivor under the remains, a twisted creature both flesh and machine.
The storm crow landed on the wreckage at a polite distance away from the draenei, the druid turning back into his humanoid form. “Champions of the Light,” he spoke in a calm voice of Common, “may I be of any assistance?”

Arlos noted the arrival of the druid, and turned to look him at for a moment before shrugging. "At this point honoured druid, I have no idea." He answered turning back to the body of the human, who had finally explained enough to the draenei to get them to bind up his lower torso in one of their cloaks.
"My name is Anderson. I am a biomechanical machine from the Weyland Uatani corporation of Earth." Anderson told them, still speaking Draenei as his translator program hadn't heard enough common from the strange pointy eared figure that had just arrived. "This wreckage is a vessel designed to travel the stars."
"Yes, we've figured that out." Arlos said a little sarcastically. "We Exiles know about space travel." He told the machine who stared in shock for a moment then shrugged.
"Yes well, we have a larger problem; on board the vessel were specimens of a very deadly creature we've dubbed Xenomorphs. I need to explain them to you and your people." Anderson told him, trying to raise himself up on his arms to walk but unable to as his left arm was torn off at the elbow. "Little help here?" He asked and Arlos stepped forward and lifted the machine up.

"What is it saying?" the druid asked humbly, not fluent in the Draenei tongue. "Would you care to interpret?"

"Apparently, we are all doomed again." Arlos told the druid, and Anderson looked over at the Elf.
"What are you?" He asked in Common. "And why are you all speaking something that sounds like English but isn't?" He asked them in confusion.

"How many times is it now?" the druid joked softly without visible amusement before understandingly answering the twisted creature's questions in turn.
"I am a druid, a guardian of nature. My race is called the night elves, or
kaldorei
in our tongue. I speak the language called Common, shared between the races of this world. And what English is I do not know, but now tell me: how did you learn our tongues, both Common and Draenei?"

"I'm a machine. The corporation that built me has a wide variety of people who work for it, and those people speak different languages. To make it easier, all of us models were given translator programs to learn the languages so we could act as interpreter among them." Anderson answered and shook his head. "Common eh? Strange." He muttered then looked up at Arlos. "I'd suggest moving; there were several Xenomorphs in the same section of the ship that I was in that crashed. Knowing those things, they are still active even now." He told the Draenei.
"We should head back to the Cenarion Outpost." Arlos said, looking over at the druid. "You can explain more about these 'xenomorphs' as we go." He told Anderson, heading for his elekk.

"Interesting," the druid nodded and raised a brow. He faced Arlos and nodded again. "I agree," he said, "the Circle will aid us."
He turned to Anderson again. "Will you explain from the beginning? I do not speak the Draenei tongue in which you first communicated, but I have seen creatues which I believe to be the 'xenomorphs' of your mention."

"Fine." Anderson said, as Arlos put him up on his elekk and made sure the half human was secure. "Xenomorphs are a species of very effective killing machines that exist solely to spread itself. They are a hive mind that serve only their Queen; the individual drones have no self-preservation and will throw themselves into death to save a Queen or her eggs no matter what." The android looked over at the druid with a skeptical expression. "If you had seen them, you'd be dead." He said simply.
"What do they look like?" Arlos asked with a growl as the Draenei group prepared to head back to the village.
"Usually between 2 to 3 meters in length, with a large cranium and no eyes. Four limbs with a massive tail that is razor sharp. Usually black in colour though we did have a strain that was yellow." Anderson told the Paladin. "I see no ranged weapons among you, which is a bad thing; Xenomorph blood is acid and can eat through almost any substance. If you are lucky, only your weapons will be damaged...but well, I've never seen that kind of luck." The android said and Arlos grunted.
"Worry not." The Paladin told Anderson as his hands glowed with holy light. "We have other ways to fight."
"Fascinating..but not relevant at the moment." The android said. "We should move faster; there were two other strains on board the ships; the standard strain and a metamorphic one that adapts features from the creatures it uses as hosts for it's larval stage."

Teralon took no offense to the comment, and in fact he hardly reacted at all. Instead he waited for Anderson to finish, and then spoke to Arlos: "I will fly to the outpost and alert on your arrival. My name is Teralon, as I have not introduced myself. By what name may I call you, noble paladin?"

"Arlos Tenhammer, servant of the Hand." Arlos told the druid then looked down at Anderson. "Do these Xenomorphs have any particular weakness?" He asked the android who nodded slightly.
"For fighters like your kind, the whole melee angle, you'll want to get them in the neck if you can, knee joints to at least disable them but you'll still have to watch for the tails, and of course, a solid crushing blow to the skull." Anderson looked around at the Draenei and chuckled a little. "And I guess for that last, you are definitely built to preform that action aren't you?"
Arlos merely grinned as he held his warhammer, watching his elekk since the creatures had acted skittish earlier. "How do animals react to the beasts?" He asked.
Anderson looked at the strange elephant like creatures. "Same as anyone else: They run like hell." He answered. "So if these Jumbos of yours are anything like the animals I'm used to, they'll warn you about Xenos."

The druid listened attentively to the continued conversation, nodding subtly every now and then. He had one more pressing question before taking off, and when Anderson quieted down he posed it with emphasis.
"These 'Xenos', do they have the minds of men, or of beasts?"

"Neither: The minds of the Xenos belong solely to the their Queen. Remember what I just said; they are a hive species." Anderson told Teralon. "Don't expect any logic from them, and if they are trying to capture you alive, kill yourself as fast as you can....because the alternative is far too horrible to consider."
"And what alternative is that?" Arlos asked, his voice rumbling.
"Becoming a host for a larval Xeno." Anderson replied. "No one ever survives that process."

Teralon looked at Arlos with an expression that clearly meant something in the lines of "he have no idea what this world has already seen" before saying "Until we meet again" and shifting into his storm crow shape and taking off with a series of powerful wing strokes, watching Anderson's face with a hidden smile.
