As even the simple game of Telephone can get garbled, I don't see the name as being that racist....now, if someone reads racial over tones into it, there's nothing we can do about that.

We call it "Chinese Whispers" here (in the UK).
I voted no.
Unless there's something being insinuated that I don't know about, it's simply like the phrase "it's all Greek to me" (meaning "I have no idea what that means"). The only point I see being made is that most (in this case) Brits don't speak Chinese and it is etymologically vastly different to European-based languages so it's an appropriate, light-hearted name for a game in which words become garbled.
Nothing is being said about Chinese people, their hearing, their speech or even the language other than the fact that it's largely uncomprehended by the average player of the game.
If the game were called "English Whispers" in China, would we be upset?(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Racist yes, because now we realize that it was wrong.
It is racist,
because
we realize it is wrong? That doesn't make sense. Explain how it is offensive. Explain why it is important to stop language that is found offensive, if the issuer of that language intends no offense.

Take your name Pikeyboy, Now to some that is probably quite offensive.
I wondered about that as well at first. Just from seeing his username I figured he'd be an English skinhead, but he turned out to be a left-wing Irish guy, so I shrugged it off.
Moral of the story, I shouldn't have been so quick to stereotype :p

I thought, from prior threads, that Pikeyboy was actually of the heritage you're worried about him offending - I'm not sure what the actual non-offensive term is since none of them are words we use in the US, really. If I am incorrect, I apologize, but I thought I remembered reading that.
