Not angry just stating facts and finding it humorous for you to assume.
Assume what? If you didn't notice I made a question - not an assumption. Do you know what the difference between a question and an assumption is?

Use your critical thinking skills to decide if other people are flipping out just to be asses or if they would have legitimate complaints if they used a kinder tone.
Its understandable that people can get frustrated if you are in a group and someone is performing poorly. ie making simple noob mistakes. When using voice comms like vent you will often hear people getting irritated. But thats no excuse for some of what ive heard on vent - raid leaders swearing their head off and abusing players. Usually the culprit is a teenage boy who is yet to learn any better. Such language is not tolerated in wider society.

Yesterday, we had an issue with a very new recruit to the guild- only in for about 2 days or so. He was level 72, and had specifically asked to join because my guild runs a lot of old content. We had run something with him, and he seemed friendly enough, so we gave him a shot.
Yesterday, he put together a pug for Black Temple (since the rest of us had run it already), all 85's so they could carry him through, and only one other guildie went with him. Apparently, he needed on every single thing he could, including the gems that are essentially vendor trash, and then when our/his guildie won a mace he wanted for transmog, the new recruit demanded it because "I want that." When out guildie said no, that he was going to keep it because he won the roll and he wanted as well, the new recruit cursed at him.
So, we kicked him. And he seemed completely flabbergasted that he would have gotten kicked over cursing another guild member out. He didn't even get it at first. He whispered me for a raid invite for AQ, and I told him we don't need someone who speaks to guildmates like that. He was like "You're right, I'm sorry- I was just pissed off. I still need an invite, though." When he finally understood that he had been kicked from the guild and wasn't coming on the raid, he cursed everyone out, reinforcing that he just wasn't the kind of person we wanted to know.
Is it so unusual to expect decent behavior from a guildmate, that someone should be shocked for being kicked out of a new guild for being that obnoxious?

I had a guy the other day that cursed me out for winning a tier token from Morchok and demanded that io give it to them, even though i still had a ilv 333. i just Lol'd at him and put him on ignore. sometimes a thick skin can go a long way. People tend to get overzealous in their jerkedness over the net because they know theyll most likely never meet the people they flame.its almost to be expected at some point in your online experience.
