I find it highly insulting to those people who are actually suffering from PTSD that you're waving around whatever minor stress I caused as a result of calling you out on your misogyny. These people have gone through tremendous ordeals, and for your to compare your forum experience to theirs is degrading.

Patty
I find it repugnant that only those who have suffered PTSD as a result of tremendous ordeals are the only ones who have suffered. To ignore their fortitude is insulting.

ElhonnaDS
I find your lack of specificity regarding the pronoun in your second sentence insulting.

FatalHeaven
I find your use of 'specificity' insulting. Just think of all those people with
ADHD
, especially those not on medication to help.... they may find it difficult to be specific or to stay focused for that matter.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
As someone with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I find your referencing ADHD offensive. It should be ADDH, because that's alphabetical order. Get your act together!
Post by
Jubilee
As someone with their name in the middle of the alphabet, I find it totally unfair and discriminatory that everything has to be in alphabetical order or reverse alphabetical order. All letters of the alphabet should have equal rights under the law to be first in line, and anything less is hurtful.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
I find your blanket statement that "Anything less is hurtful," to be completely insensitive to those who are not the top performers in various areas in their lives. How could you malign children and students across the world who work hard but don't receive the top marks in their classes. How could you go so far as to call them damaging? You monster!

Monster? You do realize what a monster actually is? It's a creature that is scary! Use the word properly!

Jubilee
Your reply is only one line long. ONE LINE! How can you abide such a travesty? You just march on in here and destroy the sanctity of 2+ line replies. Outrageous! You should be deeply ashamed of yourself.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
I'm offended at your use of the phrase "deeply ashamed." There are a lot of people who just aren't all that deep. Should we not also expect shallow people the have the capacity to be ashamed of their actions? Do we hold them to a lesser standard of accountability, and give them a free pass, just because they're vacant?
Post by
Patty
I find your implication that shallow people are vacant horrifying! There are some incredibly intelligent people who happen to be shallow, and to make such a mass-generalisation is a disservice to them.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
I find it insulting that you consider calling something vacant a disservice. There are plenty of vacant buildings right now that need to be restored- the fact that being vacant is viewed negatively is leaving these buildings to suffer from, and contribute to, urban decay. Stop promoting the destruction of our society by marginalizing vacant buildings!
Post by
Patty
I find it frankly disgusting that you would call me an anarchist by my stance on such things as vacant buildings! I find it utterly contemptible that you would make such a straw man argument.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
I'm offended that you couldn't find an actual thing in my post to be offended by, and so had to pull anarchist out of thin air. I'm also offended that we got to page 3 before anyone used the word "strawman," and I have yet to see the phrase "ad hominem." Clearly, you're not taking this debate seriously.
Post by
Patty
How dare you! Why are you only singling out "thin air"? Do you not know what a detrimental impact airbrushed magazines and advertisements are having on society as a whole? Is "fat air" considered unattractive and therefore unworthy of attention? That type of thinking makes me sick and is exactly what is wrong with the world today.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
Why are you singling out the world today? What about the world yesterday, or last week, or 20 years ago? Don't you think they had standards of what was considered attractive air, and what kind of air was considered too thin or too heavy? How unfair is it to make the world today feel as though it is alone in having this problem, and that all previous world-timeframe units were completely innocent of this kind of thinking? I hate when people re-write history to make a point.
Post by
Patty
Why must I make a point? Do you not realise how fascist that thinking is? What if I want to make a parallelogram, or an oval? Are these not considered worthy enough shapes? I can't believe you just said that.
I think that was the best one yet btw, Elhonna.
Post by
ElhonnaDS
An oval? So what you're saying is you want this debate to just go around and around in circles (excuse me -
ovals
) and never get resolved? Why are you trolling. Why don't you just approach the debate as though you actually want to learn and share information, and aren't just trying to run us around and around for your own amusement, you sadist.
Thanks!

I am repulsed by your accusations of my sadism. You know nothing about me or my way of life and your ad hominem argument is completely unfounded. What gives
you
the right to judge me and then personally attack me?
Post by
ElhonnaDS
I'm offended by your casual use of the word "unfounded." Do you know how many people with poor English skills might think that means my argument is lost and hasn't been found yet? Think about all of the grammatically handicapped people who may have been lost in their lives, and are reliving that traumatic experience thinking about my poor little ad hominem argument, alone out there in the cold, "unfounded" because no one cared enough to look.
